I found the business phone number on Angie's List. I wanted my sprinkler control relocated from the basement to the garage. They spent about 15-20 minutes assessing the move and said piece of cake as the garage was directly above and they could see a place to drill though and mount near the outlet in the garage. I said great. I then told them I needed some sprinkler work so I showed them an area of my lawn that was not getting watered properly so asked about adding a sprinkler along the foundation of my home and moving another about three feet. My estimate was verbal at $185.00. Easy fixes all around.... They came back the following week a day later than promised. But no problem They did the outside work first. I was inside caring for my 91 year old mother. They ran the bell and told me that the wire needed for the job was out of stock. They wolud return when it becomes available. He then stated I owed him $145.00 for the two sprinkler heads. I was shocked ... the gentleman was about 6 feet tall and wide framed and said he was only charging me 20.00 to drill the hole and relocate the box. I owed him $165.00... I argued for a short moment but I did not have a written breakdown of the charges so I just gave them the money to go away. A couple weeks later My neighbor who generally waters her lawn just before day had a special treatment done to her lawn, and was watering twice a day. That is when I learned Affordable Sprinkler had tied into my neighbors sprinkler line. I deeply apologized to my neighbor. She was livid as her sod is new and she had been watering my lawn. I called and the previously very kind receptionist was now very snarly and nasty. She sent them back. The workers were angry and rude, They left a ugly hole in my neighbors sod and a pile of loose dirt on top of my sod. They even left a crimping tool and rings in the grass. I called the nasty receptionist. I spoke to a man who said his name was Bobbie and he was the supervisor. He apologized and said they did have wire and things should not have happened that way and he would get everything straightened out and call back. He never did!!!. In the mean time we got a couple good rains and low and behold the loose dirt washed away and I saw they ran the sprinkler line level with the dirt. I can see the white and blue striped hose laying in my grass. I called back and was given a repair date 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting as of today October 26, 2020. They have done nothing but been disrespectful and untruthful. They did horrible work for me. If you are a woman don't call them. UPDATE AS OF 10/28/2020: The owner replied with some horrific response that was totally untrue... here is my reply to him...... I have never been unkind or nasty to your workers or receptionist. How awful of you to disparage me in this manner. You need to repair your poor attempt. In response to my post I don't know who you are referring to but my neighbor is a woman who is quite ill and very unable to confront anyone. I am almost 70 years and a mature Christian woman who you have just slandered in print with outrageous lies. I have no idea of who you are speaking of in your response. Certainly it is not me, .or anyone on this street. I am a very mild mannered person. I have given your business every opportunity to correct your poor work. Also my sprinklers run along my foundation. Your worker made a huge error and my neighbors sprinkler IS on HER property. I have lived here 25 years and never has anyone who serviced anything at my home been so mean. I always use/support our local businesses. I will not allow you to malign, insult and grossly fabricate lies about me. I posted pictures of your shoddy work and pictures don't lie. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY THE RESPONSE IS A TOTAL FABRICATION OF LIES. I Thank GOD You put it in print.

Terrible! Be careful. Their workers like to go around trying to pick up side jobs while representing Affordable Sprinklers and then they take you money and run. I had this experience with Robert (Bob) [Last Name Removed]. His direct supervisor, Cliff, says he "is not worried" what his guys are doing as long as their work for Affordable Sprinklers is done. A company of thieves with no ethics!

Fine. Quick and cheap. Good communication. Called before he arrived and was thorough.

They were pretty good and they were reasonable. I am pretty pleased with them. What I like about them is that if I don't like something that they do I have his direct phone number so I can call him or text him and he will call me right back. The cut, edge and blow is $25. They will come back and make it right if there is something I don't like.

They were suppose to blow out my system and when they showed up I went to shut off the water supply. When I came back outside to tell them the water was off the older gentleman went to his truck and grabbed a torch. He torched my valve and right away called me over and told me it was broke. I said you put a tourch on it and right next to my vinal siding! He said that it was his second job that morning that he had to use a tourch that it was frozen. But that the first job did not brake, well mine did and he wanted another $100 on top of the cost of blow out the system. I told him he broke it and not to use a tourch next to my siding. He said they could come back on a warmer day and he would get my system blown out but that in the spring I would need to buy a new valve. I am very upset he left and told the lady that handles all the calls that I was not home. Now I am stuck. They told me not to tell their boss they would fix it but not my valve. I will not use this company next year I can not trust them to do the job right.

They provided sprinkler startup. They were in great hurry, I have seven zones, they only checked six zones. When i called them right back, they came and took care of it.

Definitely the cheapest price out there.

We included Affordable Sprinkler in our list of companies to compare with others based on the totally positive recommendations of 2 neighbors and a 3rd one that's planning to have work done by them.The work team was componsed of Cliff (the owner) and Bob his helper.They both worked hard, were professional and were very curtious and attentive to my wants.While Cliff already had a very busy schedule, he fit me in by adding me on to the end of his days.It took 2 very late evenings and 1 early morning to complete the job, but he was able to work me in immediately that way while other companies barely got back to me on phone in that time and at least one highly rated Angie's List company said that they were so busy that it would be over a month before they could even come out out and give me an estimate.When I had minor issues, they took care of them immediately and never bulked.Several changes were made along the way, beyond the estimate from both sides, but he kept me informed.Cliff uses the latest concepts and U-type nozzles that don't appear to be available to the public.He made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. If I had to find something to fault him about:Because he is so helpful and often customers tack additional items on, he frequently falls behind on his daily time schedule.But I benefited from this as well and he makes every attempt to complete his daily tasks even when this causes him to work until well past dark. I would highly recommend Affordable Sprinklers to all my friends.

When the "new valve" didn't resolve the problem, the service man (Jason) said that he couldn't stay, and that it was too hot to dig more, so someone would call from the office and arrange for him to come back by Saturday. No one called. I called and got the answering machine on Friday afternoon. Jason called me on the weekend and said that he would come "on his own time" on Tuesday morning, at 8:30 AM, and that he didn't need for us to be home. I didn't trust his word or work, so I arranged for a neighbor to come over if and when he showed up. He never did. Approximately 2-3 months later, Affordable Sprinklers sent us a bill for the work that was never completed and it was much higher than we had expected for the valve. I called them and explained that the original bill had "will pay when job is completed" written on it and the job was never completed. They said they would send two of their best guys out to assess the situation and talk to us. They sent out one very young man. He looked it over and agreed that the job had not been completed, he also pointed out that our system was not installed according to code and that Jason should have pointed that out. He said that he would go back and explain all this to the owner and that someone would call and arrange to come out to work this out and give us an estimate on bringing the system up to code. They never called. Today, on 1/6/10, we received a statement/invoice with addl. finance charges, stating that "IF NOT PAID BY 01/01/10 ALL DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS WOULD BE TAKEN TO THE LOCAL COURTHOUSE FOR COLLECTIONS" At no time, during these months have these people called or written to us with any explanation, apology, or attempt to reconcile this matter. They did tell us that Jason, the original service man they sent out, no longer works for them, and that they had forwarded my original message to him. But they had no explanation as to why they didn't follow up to see if my job was completed, since he wasn't working for them and yet they were billing me. This company has absolutely no professionalism, no communication skills and no common courtesy. They seem to have no respect for customers, and I wonder if that is because they think we will pay because they threaten us.

For the most part, Affordable Sprinklers did a great job. There was a slight miss communication over scheduling, but they went out of their way to make it work. These guys really know what they are doing, but also take the time to explain how to use things correctly. The best part is that they are truly affordable.

Very well, we've been using this company for a couple years now.
