I had a wallpaper mural by Detroit Wallpaper that needed to be installed on a 12 foot long wall. Paula did a terrific job getting the pieces to fit. She was professional and responsive. I will definitely hire again for other projects. It was a pleasure working with her.

These types of reviews are easy. No problems. Paula is the consummate professional. Scheduling was a breeze as she worked around my very difficult schedule. She was very responsive and provided an excellent product while being very approachable and concerned about doing a great job. Paula is the type of person who goes above and beyond what would be considered a good job. After the granite installer ripped the new wallcovering Paula made it a point to squeeze my repair into her very busy schedule. The room looks awesome and I would definitely bring her back for any of my jobs and would heartily recommend her for anyone else's.

I wish I had not hired her. This was my first Angie's list contractor. We will be moving and this was the first of many projects to complete. The goal for this project was to remodel a powder room with Wow factor. I purchased High end vanity, faucet, commode, sink and wallpaper. The commode, sink, faucet and vanity were already installed when this job began. Both jobs turned out iffy. Its costly to reschedule additional time for either of them to come back, redo, undo what could have reasonably been accomplished without excuses the first time around. The painter used my sink and got paint embedded around the drain escutcheon. Paint was left on my crystal faucet handles. I had made another bathroom and washroom available to avoid this. The trim was to be painted and paint was left on the floor tile and the inside of the window seal was not painted. He left paint and debris the tiled floor outside the powder room. No drop cloth used in the area. For the wallpaper job: There was glue left on the door surfaces that I had to wash off. The cloth she used to protect the vanity was too thin to prevent dents and dings from the normal use of tools that were being used. She casually placed her water bottle on my wood furniture, unprotected. The worst part is that you can see indentations in the wallpaper at the start of the vanity which is right as you come into the space. I thought once the glue dried, it wouldn't be so bad. Not the case. Every contractor worth his salt knows that preparation is everything. Putting superior materials in the hands of these two contractors was a mistake and I am -flat out- disappointed. Both painter and wallpaper installer on a number of days called with excuses for being late. Twice it put me in a jam with clients. I REALLY thought I would not have such basic issues using contractors from Angie's list.

It went perfect. Paula is a real professional. Since then our room has been featured on Apartment Therapy and other websites!

Paula was a consummate professional through the entire process - prompt response to original inquiry, patient through several re-schedules (one due to my mistakenly having ordered wrong wallpaper), prompt on all communication, arrived on time, careful set up within home, wonderful personality, cleaned up EVERYTHING (one would not have even known a contractor had been in home) , price was excellent, quality and workmanship excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend Paula for ANY wallpapering contracting, and would hire her again without reservation. The pattern I had chosen was complex : Cole and Sons' WOODS. UK paper, not pre-pasted, complex pattern, non-standard repeats, fairly large area to be wallpapered. I cannot think of a more difficult wallpaper challenge. Paula's workmanship was OUTSTANDING. Seams invisible. Pattern straight, in fact she compensated for a slight flaw in plumbness of the wall itself. I would rate her A+ if I could. Paula is a true craftsman in a world sorely lacking in same.

Paula is the VERY best and I will always call her whenever a wallpaper need arises! I left her alone in my house and I trust her completely! The job she did is FLAWLESS and I am very picky!!!!

Paula does excellent work. The wallpaper job I had done turned out better than I could have expected. It took a while to get everything installed but well worth the wait. The job was done perfectly and she really knows what she is doing. Her rates are very reasonable and a real bargain considering the quality of the work.

Great experiance. She was a deliteful person and an excellant wallpaperer. Only issure we had was getting ahold of her. But we finally did and it was worth the wait.

I first contacted Paula after reading about her on Angie's List. I said to myself: this is the wall paper hanger that I want working in my home. I knew that I would not have to babysit her; I could leave and run errands if I wanted to do so without worrying. I could also tell from the reviews, that she was very proficient. Before the wallpaper could be hung, I had to have the paint job completed. So, I called Paula again after the painting was finished. She requested that I contact her when I had the wall paper in hand, which I did. At that time, she was starting a 3-week project. When she completed that, she called me on her own volition, and she came over the very next day. From start to finish: Paula arrived on time. She brought in all of her equipment and set up in one bedroom, while working in another. She rolled up and moved a rug out of harm's way, covered furniture with drop clothes, moved any breakable objects, etc. She used a tool to slide heavy furniture. Paula had an assistant who did the prelim cutting. Paula herself applied the adhesive on a folding table, that she brought with her, and hung all the paper. She took a lunch break for about 1/2 hour; other than that, she worked for 12 hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) to complete the job. I tried to stay out of the way other than taking sneak peaks (beautiful) now and then. The room is gorgeous (I think I already said that), but it is true! It definitely has the and quot;Wow Factorand quot;. When she was finished, Paula replaced all of the furniture that she had moved, put back small items, cleaned up, and moved her tools, etc. all back into her van. Everything was ship shape when she left. A+

Paula was recommended to me by a wallpaper retailer in West Bloomfield, and I'm so glad she was available! She was wonderful from start to finish: personable, professional, and very talented. She charges by the roll, so there were no surprises in terms of price. Her work is beautiful and I am very happy.
