Description of Work: Called for service...Sam came out within an hour and provided me a quote. Sam went and got the parts needed and had the job done in a couple hours. Great service and a nice guy.

Description of Work: They were very professional and did great work. I liked that they were very local for me and very small, only two people. Sometimes with larger companies the level of service you receive depends on which technician they send out. I thought their price was reasonable too.

Description of Work: Josh Young (proprietor) came to sort out a tricky problem with a wall fixture. He showed me how to disassemble it, showed me what was wrong, and how to reassemble it. Charged his basic rate for a house call: $100 -- a bit high, in my opinion, but I paid it happily.

Description of Work: They relocated existing electrical, for lights and receptacles, after having a wall mirror removed. They installed a new outlet in foyer where there had not been one previously. |I was satisfied price wise. I did not get competitive bids. Voltron was able to get out, last minute, cost to be determined. Painters were on site all week. Removing the mirror and moving the electrical were last minute choices after the painters started. Voltron Power helped tremendously in getting a last minute project completed.

Description of Work: a lot of misc electrical work. could start right away, were done fast, cleaned up and every thing was good.

Description of Work: They replaced a wired smoke detector which I believed to be defective. Later, I found that the actual problem was with an adjacent battery powered smoke detector. There was nothing wrong with the one they replaced but Voltron had no way of knowing this as they had relied on what I had told them. My mistake cost me $100. I would use them again, though.

Description of Work: I signed up for the Deal on testing and labelling my electrical panel. The 2 men arrived and were very pleasant, business-like and efficient. They put a new label on the panel so I knew what was where. They later sent me a list of things that needed updating. I expect that that was legitimate, but the prices were higher than I expected, so I declined to have them go ahead with the work. I believe that they would do a good job on the work. It was just too expensive.

Description of Work: The biggest thing we needed done was to have our master bathroom shower drain taken care of. The gentleman that arrived took care of it in just a few minutes, told me what the issue had been, and said we didn't need to have the drain snaked, as I was afraid we might. There were a couple of other quick/minor issues which he took care of right then and was in and out quickly. He was polite and actually arrived a little earlier than we'd anticipated. We still have a credit with them from the deal and will definitely use them again the next time any plumbing issues crop up!
