Called to have them come out to fix some siding under the eaves, near the fascia. When I called, Joe asked me to send some pictures of the damage. He told me that the repair would take about 1-2 hours and he would call me back with a day he would come out. I had to email a few times to ask if he was coming out. Was told that the rain put him behind schedule. A month after the original call, he finally showed up. Standing on the lawn, he told me that he could not do the job because it was too high and he didn't have the right scaffolding and wouldn't be able to reach the area. Said he should have come out to look at it sooner (he did mention in an email a week earlier that he was coming out to look at the job and would call me with a date later). He simply said sorry, he can't do the job. Luckily, because of the poor communication, I scheduled another quote with a siding company as a back up. They were out within a day after Joe (two weeks from when I called them). Funny thing though, the guy from the siding company climbed up his ladder and was able to reach the entire area to be repaired with no scaffolding and he was about 5'8" and it was just above his head level. If he didn't have the skill to do the job, he should have been up front with me and not waste my time waiting a month. The siding company informed me that the entire area needed to be replaced including the aluminum sheeting along the fascia. That kind of repair takes specialized tools. Again, it would have been polite to be told that from the start. I'm sure he is a capable handyman judging by some of the other reviews on here. However, this job was not in his wheelhouse. He should have been up front with me instead of making me wait a month just to be told he couldn't do the job.

We used them for a few things last winter. It was a good price. Their quality was worth it. He was very professional, the work was done very well and he advertised as promised.

Joe and his team did an excellent job! Took extra precautions to minimize dust from spreading to the rest of the house.

Mr. Coxen and his partner were VERY friendly and professional,showed up on time put in an honest days work and when the job was finnished they cleaned up any mess that was made due to the constuction. When the job was finished Mr. Coxen showed me around the work area and made sure I was satisfied with the completed work. I will GLADLY call him again for any other work I need and would HIGHLY recommend him to any one!!

Joe quickly and efficiently fixed my front door-frame that was previously damaged by furniture movers.

Joe did a wonderful job. He went above and beyond what we expected by not only fixing and painting the boards but also problem solved to ensure the area under the bay would stay dry. He vented the area to provide air circulation and help dry the area in case any moisture appears in the future. He also place ridged form under the subfloor for insulation. Joe also investigated around the window by removing the siding to see if rot and moisture were entering the area and dripping down. Luckily, it was not the case and he put everything back together. We discover the water was coming from the roof where there is a tiny section with a gap in the gutter. Joe suggested a solution and with me and I will be having he come back to fix it.

Mr. Coxen arrived ahead of time and completed his work efficiently, quickly, and neatly. The result was much better than we expected and we are very pleased with it. He was courteous, friendly and communicated well. He's the best person we've had to do work in our home in the five years we've lived here.

It was a pleasure to work with Joe Coxen and Mike on this project. Joe came to see the bathroom and asked me what I wanted done then gave me some suggestions. I went to Lowes and picked out the vanity and paint color I wanted then e-mailed the brand and numbers to Joe who checked the measurements and picked them up in his truck. Joe was easy to contact and started working on the project when promised. Both Joe and Mike were detailed oriented and took care of unforeseen problems when they found them. The need to change the toilet was a surprise but was no problem for them to replace it. Mike came early in the morning and Joe oversaw the job which is warrantied for one year. It all went smoothly and I am very satisfied with my new bathroom.

Previous problem with water pipes freezing in garage ceiling. Timely response making an appointment to review job. During review, Joe stated how he would do the work and also made additional suggestions to protect pipes. Within 2 days of job review, an estimate for work was emailed to me detailing labor & material cost. I approved the work to be done as discussed: using foam pipe wrap, covering with foil wrap and re-attaching foam board. Day of work, Joe showed up at agreed upon time. Work completed skillfully and in appropriate timeframe. The above stated cost included Angies List Discount.

Joe is very friendly and easy to talk to, his work is very efficient. He took care to repair everything I requested plus a few things I added on. I felt completely at ease having him working in my home. All work is impeccable and I am thrilled to have it all done in a very timely manner. I look forward to working with him again on future jobs. I would recommend him to anyone. When I checked Angies List for handymen, he was the only one out of five that I contacted that responded to my request. It was very easy to arrange a time with him. I am very happy that I was lucky enough to get him.

Joe did an awesome job. Very meticulous about his work and quick. We had a lot of wood trim, particularly around our windows, that were rotting and had carpenter ants invading. Joe did an excellent job of replacing the wood, caulking and painting. He also was able to match the paint exactly to what we currently have. He also bid some work on the inside but has yet to come back and take care of that. Perhaps he is waiting for the weather to turn for inside work. No problem for us we aren't in a hurry. We highly recommend Joe and look forward to working with him again soon.

Joe was easy to work with and showed up when scheduled for both the estimate and delivery of the mailbox. A temporary mailbox is never going to be pretty, but Joe provided a solid solution using the salvageable pieces from my demolished mailbox. He showed up on time to provide the estimate and took the mailbox pieces with him, and returned when promised to drop off the finished product. Joe was straightforward and honest about the quote, work, and his skills, which is appreciated. I would definitely recommend contacting him for any handyman services, as I know I plan to use him again in the future.
