Final finishing and painting of bay ceiling drywall is scheduled for this Friday, September 15.

We required drywall repair and painting in a room with many detail areas. Chuck spent a few days in our home and was pleasant, punctual, and best of all did a fantastic job. We would highly recommend R&D, and would request that Chuck be on any other job we did.

Got an Angie's List for drywall work, Ryan contacted me immediately and was out the next day to get the work done. Very efficient.

owner came out and priced the job, gave me a date, 3 person crew showed up, very professional. They performed all the work, cleaned up the mess and were gone. Painted the next day and walls look great.

No show/No call. I called and scheduled an appointment for a quote for Wednesday, May 24th between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. At 7:20 p.m. I called the main office explaining no one showed up and that I was available anytime Friday during the day. I realize it was a long weekend and Friday the office may have been closed, but it wasn't closed on Thursday, May 25th. I did not receive a return phone call. I don't expect perfection and certainly understand the best plans can be hijacked. But I do expect someone to show up or at least call with an explanation if they can't.

It went pretty good. I don't remember what I paid, but it was a good price. They were pretty responsive. It went pretty smooth.

Shawn was great - punctual, friendly and efficient in providing the estimate, scheduling and overseeing the work performed. We had two drywallers on the first day; they were professional, friendly and did a great job. They made sure to cover floors and surfaces and precise and efficient. The following day, a painter came through to paint all the newly patched surfaces - we had a couple of minor issues, but everything was followed up and dealt with. They even painted a couple of extra surfaces for additional continuity. We are very happy with our walls - you simply cannot tell anything was ever there, and that is exactly what we wanted! Thanks to all at R&D Inc for great service.

Right on time just like they said, exact time that they told us that they would be here cleaned up, I just watched him, they even went down and found the paint in the basement and painted the spot that they patched, cleaned up after themselves,

I had R and D out to repair the drywall in my basement after taking down some very old wallpaper. I tried to fix it myself but it came out horrible so time to call in the professionals. They did a fantastic job. The walls came out beautiful. They were very professional and got the project done in one day which impressed me since it was a large project. I would highly recommend them to fix your drywall. I have a bathroom remodel coming up where the drywall will need to be added and/or repaired and I will have them back to do my that as well.

Everything was great!! Shawn was very helpful and responsive. The team was very professional. They arrived promptly when they said they would, covered the carpet and doorways, fixed the drywall beautifully, and cleaned up everything as they were leaving. I would highly recommend calling them! We have already referred them to a friend and would call them again for any of our drywall needs.

Richard was great to work with. He's very friendly, clean and prompt. His workmanship when it comes to drywall is impeccable. He is a real artist. I would certainly choose him again to do any dry wall work. All the guys he works with - to deliver the new drywall and supplies were also very nice, friendly and helpful. It was a great experience I highly recommend him.

In short, the work was sloppy. The promises made were not kept. I still look at the dried paint runs on the wall, the paint on the door knobs, the poorly done lines on the borders to the ceiling and between rooms and shake my head. What's worse, after complaining to the owner about the sons promises being unfulfilled, and the sloppy work done, a "specialist" was sent to make it right. He couldn't. There was too much to fix and he couldn't believe the short cuts the prior painter had taken. He left after one day and we never heard from the company again. Zero follow up. They got paid and left the customer dissatisfied. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. We were threatened with a lawyer for saying we didn't want to pay until the job was completed to our satisfaction, it was a horrible experience. Would you trust someone to come back next Tuesday to finish the job when they demand payment in full today (Friday)? And this was after an additional payment was requested (unscheduled and not part of the contract) which we paid on good faith a week into the project. We were made to feel like we were ultra-picky and the work was good enough. It was not.

I did not end up using this company

Started out as a texture but we decided to go with texture removal and skin. Josh came out with a couple guys and removed old texture and than reskinned ceiling. It was a big ceiling got reskinned in one day. R and D always does good work at a reasonable price.

Let me begin by saying that there are not enough words to describe how wonderful this company is. The professionalism and quality of work is superb! We are finishing our basement and received 2 different bids from companies both found on Angie"s List. While the one bid was slightly lower than R & D, Shawn from R & D was willing to match the price. From our first meeting with Shawn, we knew this was the company we wanted to do the job. From start to finish, Shawn was involved and available for any problems along the way. The crews were professional and very customer service oriented. They kept dust to a minimum, and upon completion, cleaned to perfection. The quality of the job is beyond excellent. They will even come back before painting to repair any drywall dings we may cause. A++++ company. Definitely would use again and will refer others to this company. Thank you R & D for a seamless project I was dreading.

We are extremely pleased with the job that Terrance did with the painting project in our basement. We had to have our entire basement painted after the flood. We had them out early last month to do a very large drywall replacement project to replace drywall, trim, doors, etc. that were destroyed in August. We have since posted a rave review for that job. Shawn came by and gave us a fair quote and we accepted. A few days later, we were underway. The job was, like the previous one, done professionally and with attention to detail. I had a bit of trepidation that he was doing the job alone, but this is what happens when you find a professional who has been doing this for many years. He was here when he said he would be and while the job seemed too big for one person, he more than proved me wrong! It wasn't a rush job, he is a pro and has a system that works for him. The detailing was awesome. So happy. Outside of the paint job, you wouldn't know he had been there - the clean up was great. No corners were cut in this job - just like before. The walls and trim were perfect. We NEVER could have done the job. He was very considerate and worked non-stop. The next phase will be upstairs, most of which has not been painted in 14 years and finally replacing our pocket door that has never worked since we moved in 17 years ago. The professionalism, sincerity and pride in the work they do has instantly made them our go to guys now for this sort of work. We have recommended them to others and the friends and neighbors who have seen the results of both of the jobs they've done were very impressed. You absolutely will not be disappointed. I cannot begin to explain how happy we are with the job that Ron, Shawn and their hardworking professional crew performed in our basement. We had to have a considerable amount of drywall replaced in our basement after the flood. Ron was the first contractor to bid on the job - and the last. Between the great impression we got of him, the huge number of positive ratings on homeadvisor and a flood recovery support group on facebook, we didn't see any reason to look for anyone else. I'm so glad we chose them. First, they were on time and done in a day, when we expected at least 2 - but it wasn't a rush job. So happy. The hard work and precision repairing the hack job our clean up company did to the drywall, attention to detail, amazing trim work, door replacement, clean up and so much more amazed us - and all in one day. No corners were cut. We expected simple trim and replacement doors and were stunned at what we got. However, we cannot stress how awesome the drywall work was. Huge sections had been cut about 4 feet from the ground by a person that had clearly never done so and it was a disaster. When it was done you absolutely could not tell it had been cut. What a pain that must have been. Seamless. Literally and figuratively. Ron and Shawn had a crew of 5 or 6 guys here, each with their own specific job - no standing around, cursing, yelling and such like I've experienced with some contractors. They were all very considerate and nice guys who got the job done and are prideful in the work they do. As far as the drywall dust situation went, it was much easier to deal with because we hadn't installed the carpeting yet. Even though the concrete floor was exposed, they had down protective materials and the cleanup was quick and thorough. Like I said, we couldn't be happier. In fact, we were so blown away by the work that we had to call our neighbors over to see it! Ron suggested some wonderful ideas to us that we agreed would make a difference when done as part of this rebuild - most of which we agreed and did. I don't think we have ever met a nicer, earnest and compassionate contractor. We had Shawn (Ron's son that runs the company) come out today to quote us for the massive painting job for the ENTIRE basement and to replace a pocket door upstairs - it makes sense to use them since we will need to remove and replace drywall. The next phase will be upstairs, most of which has not been painted in 14 years. They are our go to guys now for this sort of work. You absolutely will not be disappointed. Thank you, Ron, Shawn and crew - you rock! My apologies for not posting this review when I said I would! ;-)

Terrible. Ron called and asked if he could meet me early, then was 1/2 hour late. He came into the house, I mentioned we already had the drywall ordered - he said "take it back.. Then he looked at the job, said "I disappointed you already, I think I'm going to bow-out of this one." And then left. I've never had anyone come into my home and then leave without giving me an estimate. Not sure if the job was really too big for him or if he felt he couldn't make a profit since I already ordered the drywall or what. But I would never recommend this company for any type of new construction/home addition/big drywall jobs. Very disappointed I am now, wasn't when he made the comment.

They do impeccable drywall work. I may probably use them in the future.
