 + -1 moreWhile painting her new bedroom a beautiful dark shade of purple my daughter kicked over the paint can in the middle of the her beige carpet. Try as we might to get it out, it was hopelessly ruined and she was in tears. JC Carpet (it's been so long I can't remember his name) came to the rescue. Luckily there was some extra carpet in the basement so he cut a huge square of carpet out of the bedroom. The pad was soaked clear thru to the subfloor, so he replaced it with some he had. Luckily the carpet in her room was fairly new so it matched well, you can't even tell where it was. While he was there he noticed how bad the carpet in my bedroom was and offered to stretch it for $75 since he was already there. He did a great job in both rooms and I recently recommended him to a friend for some carpet stretching.
Description of Work: Replaced a section of carpet in one bedroom and stretched the other bedroom carpet.

Description of Work: John repaired the threshhold in one bedroom. He also retacked a strip where the tile and the carpet met. I had him back a second time to stretch and reattach a carpet. In both cases, the work took less than an hour and the charge was approximately $135 each time, which I thought was high.

Description of Work: They re-stretched/re-seamed the carpet for the closet and around the doorways.
