Description of Work: In the spring of 2013, Ron rebuilt our brick chimney. That included fixing some issues around the chimney on the roof, putting in a chimney liner, and doing some re-routing of the furnace flue. In the course of that work, he found that our fireplace was no longer safe. It was an old double wall steel box fireplace that had rusted through. In the fall of 2013, he came back, cut out the old steel firebox and replaced it with a firebrick fireplace. It works fine. In early summer of 2014, we had our roof re-shingled, and the guys who did it said that whoever had done the flashing around the chimney had done a really nice job. That, of course, was Ron of Fireplaces Plus. He's very professional and knowledgeable. The reason I put N/A on price is because I didn't get any other estimates.

+ 0 moreAfter talking with several other people and meeting with this company we felt confident that they knew what they were doing. The workmanship is excellent and we are very pleased with the completed project. The work was completed in two days. We did hit some weather issues before the work was started but the owner was diligent about doing all he could to get the job done for us. We would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: They closed off one side of a see thru fireplace in the kitchen.
