Description of Work: Moved our belongings approx 5 miles. They arrived on time, courteous, nice rapport between workers, and were careful with our home and furniture. They made the move in the rain about as pleasant as it could have been.

Description of Work: Although we had done a very great deal of packing, they still had a good deal to do, including some of the larger and easily damaged pieces. They had to distinguish all that was to be packed and moved from a very large quantity of furniture and other belongings that we to be left behind, which they did with no more than one mistake. We had lived in our old house for 35 years and accumulated an amazing amount of things on its three levels. Then they had to move everything taken 330 miles and unload the two trucks into our new single-story house, including placing all the furniture where it belonged and all boxed items to the correct rooms. They did this with no damage to the houses or belongings, working diligently, quickly and carefully. Bob Struck was a joy to work with, putting our minds at ease and accurately estimating the job. We have already recommended him and Changing Places to friends who are employing them for their move out of our old homes. It was sad, even painful to leave our beloved old house, but Bob and Changing Places made the actual moving much easier than it could and would have been without them.

Description of Work: Changing Places provided 4 pleasant men to move my household. Because my new home wasn't ready, my belongings were moved to their warehouse where they stayed safely for a week. When I was ready to occupy my new home, they showed up right on time at my new address with all my items safely on board. They were helpful and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Description of Work: They packed and moved a 4 bedroom home to a storage unit, then 2 months later moved the same items to a new home. They were very professional, took extra care with everything, very caring of the home they moved us out of and into. Pricing was very fair and accurate. I have heard horror stories about other movers, but had no concerns with Changing Places, would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Used this company for moving from our home. Arrived in morning on time ready to go. Three men came. One was more of the leader/organizer of the move who coordinated the work of the others which i think kept the process smooth and on track. Treated our furniture well and used protective equipment (blankets/covers) and delivered all of our items without damage. Was delightfully surprised that the process went quicker than expected which kept total cost lower than we thought it would be. Plan to use again for next move.

Description of Work: They did excellent. The move went smooth and was not stressful at all. The 3 men team (Jason S, Jesse E, Kevin S) was perfect for the job. They were professional, worked fast but without cutting corners. They were also friendly and made the whole event actually a nice experience. Also, the communication between the office and the team in the field had been done good as well. The team knew what we wanted when arriving. We would certainly use this company again.

Description of Work: We hired Changing Places for our move from Royal Oak to Macomb, MI and they were excellent. The sales contact, Ryan, was extremely helpful in determing the size of the move. She took a thorough inventory and made contact with me a few times leading up to the move to make sure we were on track for that day. We had a 3 man crew to move furniture and boxes. They had the house emptied in an hour and a half! Not one scratch, mark, ding, or damage to anything. I was very impressed with their crew. When they arrived and saw that we had 3 flat screen tv's to move - they called and had special boxes brought over for them. They kept the flooring covered and protected everything from being damaged. At our new house, they were concerned about parking the moving truck on the new driveway so the truck would not crack the cement. So, they emptied the truck from a further distance - and it was raining! They asked for where each and every item was to go in the new house and offered to move things around within each room as we decided where to place things. They were on time, courteous and very professional. They also moved very quickly! When paying by the hour, this is important to the customer. I would use them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: The experience has been positive from the beginning when the sales / estimator came to our home to assess our move. We moved our 2800 sq ft home to storage pending a further move to Harsens Island. We had to change our original plan somewhat about 3 weeks before the move. They were flexible and responsive. The team that handled the move on move day, was punctual, professional, and careful with our belongings. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and the inventory and billing was all explained thoroughly.

Description of Work: these guys were great! I had to move an old cabinet from my grandfather's house. it was really heavy, and it took a great deal to shoehorn it up the stairs. but the guys worked really hard and took their time getting it up there. did not rush the job at all.

Description of Work: They moved my mom's furniture from an apartment to 2 different locations. They were OK, but the equipment they used to move a big entertainment center wouldn't allow them to get it into an elevator like we did when we moved it ourselves earlier. They had to take it down a flight of stairs, which took much more time than it did for us to use the elevator, and consequently, cost us more unecessarily. Other than that, they were pleasant and did OK.
