BCM Roofing

Brian (Owner BCM) came by back in late 2011, as one of several companies I had contacted for estimates. He was on time, very professional, and spent time with me looking at areas of concern on my old home and the existing roof construction. (The main part of the house had some significant sagging of the original stick built timbers.) We discussed options, and he gave me his perspective on the appropriate corrective measures. He gave me a very detailed overview of the approach followed by a written estimate of cost. I had several estimates above and below BCM, but after meeting Brian and having our discussion, I felt he was the right choice. I called a few days later to confirm my choice, but indicated that due to the impending winter (which never actually came in 2011); I would be waiting until spring. I asked if he would honor the estimate and he said yes. A few days later and his office called to schedule the appointment. We modified the date a couple times due to my schedule changes. Brian was very accommodating, and on April 26th, the BCM team was onsite as planned. Materials and trash receptacle had shown up a day earlier. On day one, Brian discussed his plan for the re-build of the main section of house roofline and structure. I took time off to watch this work under way, and I was amazed at the effort and coordination required. BCM was a well oiled machine! I periodically went outside to see the old existing sagging roof structure replaced with new and much stronger timbers and new decking. By end of day one, the roof was ready for a new look. Day two began again with Brain on the job coordinating efforts and by mid-day I was able to see the full impact of the repairs and the new look of the dimensional shingle chosen. Completing the job with seamless gutters, clean-up and follow up was all equally smooth. I was really impressed with the professionalism, politeness, and care that BCM proved out during the job at my home. They did a great job, and I will definitely come back to BCM when I need more home improvement!

I was leaving for a week on vacation and needed the repair done right away. Two very professional young men showed up with good equipment in a nice truck and, before I new it, the roof was done and for a very reasonable price. The only reason that I gave them a B in punctuality is that they did show up a half an hour later than the appointed time, but they called ahead to let me know they were running late. I would definitely recommend them, and will use them again when I need a roof repair or replacement, but I hope that won't be for a long time!

They came out and tarped up the damaged areas before the next rain came. Their proposal was delivered via email so that I could quickly pass it along to the insurance company. The following weekend they were out to perform the work. Very efficient, polite, and thorough crew got the job done in less than a day. They put down tarps on the lawn, blew out the gutters, and cleaned up everything when done--even used magnets to pick up the stray nails. Everything was installed correctly--ice shield, paper, shingles correctly nailed down, and a much better ridge vent. I got quotes from other companies, but BCM handled the calls and estimate much more professionally and accurately.

We had a leak around our furnace chimney. Brian and Jake showed up five minutes early. They took one look, suggested the repair and took care of it on the spot. Brian took care of it in less than 10 minutes. He and Jake were two of the most professional, friendly people I've ever had work on my home. I will use them again and again.

Brian (Owner) came on time to give me his estimate. I decided to hire his company and have not regretted it. I was a bit apprehensive that they would not come on the the day scheduled due to a very rainy day before. Even though his schedule was thrown off by the rain, he got his crew over to my house and got the roof done. His crew was efficient and even though tearing off a roof is messy business at best, they did not make a mess of my yard. They kept all the old stuff coming off the roof contained and my yard very clean. When they were finished they did a final sweep of the yard to make sure all signs of their work was removed. I would not hesitate to recommend BCM Home Improvement for your roofing needs!! Good work guys!!

After receiving 3 quotes, I went with BCM. They came to my house and inspected my roof, gave me a writing estimate with no high preasure sales. Call if you want your roof done. After calling them back they gave me starting date and time. They arrived on time,did a complete tear-off and installed a new roof before before 5PM. They did a excellent job with the new roof and cleaning up.

They are great. They know their business and work so hard. Just outstanding service. I don't mind spending the money because they have the best service. Briain feels apart of the family. I'm glad I got him before everyone.

Brian and the crew were great. All knew exactly what they were doing--like a well-oiled machine. The job was done in one day, as promised. Clean up was so good one would not have known that anything had been done AND the roof looks beautiful. It could not have been a better experience. We wil be using BCM again, as they do more than roofing.

Brian the owner, came and gave estimate including a high amount of roof board replacement in his estimate - he could feel the softness of the roof structure. After receiving 3 other quotes [1 higher and 2 lower] I chose BCM, he demonstrated his commitment to do an outstanding job. Brian and his crew were on time the start date and worked the better part of 13+ hours to progress the job to enable the layment of new shingles the next day. They were neat and cleaning up all thoughout the job and protected the landscaping to avoid any damage. The crew arrived on time the next day and re-shingled the roof and cleaned up putting in another 8-9 hours. All throughout the job, any questions or special items that needed to be pointed out, Brian was in on top of and genuine in his approach. We are very please with the quality and service we received from BCM. I would fully recommend BCM

Overall, I would use Brian again. My concern was that he was from Warren and I am near Woodhaven and if that would be too far for him to drive based on the small amount of work I needed done. He was late showing up during my lunch break, but that was due to 75 being worked on so I understood since I travel that same path and he from Warren probably wasn't aware of the work being done and the lane restrictions. I was alittle set back from his first comments in that this seemed liked the first time he had done any work from Angie's List as he got paid from the directly as I bought his services directly from Angie's List and not paid him.

Brian won my business today. I called BCM Home Improvement for an estimate on roof repair and possible replacement. We have a slow leak that appeared in our garage ceiling and has been getting worse. I spoke with Jake on the phone to schedule the appointment. He was courteous and they arrived when when scheduled. Brian re-attached a loose gutter and caulked the roof line to seal up the leakage. He informed me of the condition and history of my roof and suggested a course of action. I was so impressed with their helpfulness and very happy with the price given for the roof to be replaced. I very happy to move forward with this company and will write another review after further work is done.

.They came out and did some work for us but then we had a leak which wasn't due to them or their work it was something we didn't address at the time. They fixed that and we have had a mild rain since and nothing came in. I just can't say enough positive feedback for the people that own the company, the quality of the work, the promptness, their reasonable rates, how they interact when they come out, and the fact that they will go anywhere and if you have problems they want to know about it and they will come right out.

These guys are awesome. Eventhough my job was a small job in comparison (garage roof) they treated me as if I was a very important customer. Brian was very professional and fiendly at the same time. They came out gave me the estimate, and started the work with in a couple of days of my acceptance of his estimate. The work was completed on the day they promised. i left for work in the morning before they got there and when i got home they were gone. The Garage looks great and they did a great job.

The crew arrived on date stated, was very professional, cleaned the area after tearoff, was aware of landscaping and did not trample any plants. The owner came by to make sure everything went well. Was very impressed would recommend highly.

Brian arrived on time for the estimate appointment and explained in full detail what needed to be done. He answered all my questions and did not try to oversell. Based on the reviews from Angie's List and his no pressure approach, my wife and I selected BCM for the job. We had originally chosen mid April for the new roof but due to the nice weather, we moved the date to March. Brian was able to accommodate the change and to my surprise the materials were on the roof the night prior to when the work started. Brian and his team was at our house 7:30 the next morning and the dumpster arrived 5 minutes after. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after the first day. There were no nails or debris on the ground when they left, it was spotless. The following day, Brian and the team showed up around the same time and finished the roof. He stopped by later on in the day to make sure that we were happy with the work. The roof looks excellent! The entire process from estimate to completion was perfect. In fact, it was one of the most efficient operations that I have seen. I highly recommend BCM Roofing.

I obtained several estimates before choosing bcm roofing. Brian was professional, responsive, and went the extra mile to make sure the experience went smoothly. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone wanting a new roof.

From the estimate to the cleanup, Bryan and his crew get an A+. He arrived on time to give us and estimate. He went on the roof to do exact measurements. He then went to his truck to complete his estimate. About 20 minutes after he arrived, he had his estimate ready. He presented the proposed contract in a clear and concise manner. He answered all of my questions without trying to "oversell". In other words, he did not waste my time.I signed the contract on Saturday and on Monday morning he and his crew installed my new roof. A knowledgeable neighbor got on my roof during the installation and advised me that they were doing an A+ job. He said "that roof will last 30 years!", And on top of all that, it looks terrific. We called BCM about a roof leak that we had tried to have fixed twice in the past. Office staff was very helpful. They set up an appointment for the next morning and called back with an offer to come tarp that night since it was raining. Someone showed up within 2 hours and after using a hose on the roof and examining the eaves in the attic, identified the problem and made an assessment as to what repairs would be needed to correct it. I feel the problem was finally identified accurately because it was the first time someone had taken the time to examine the attic or used a hose to pinpoint the leak. Workers returned as scheduled the following morning and completed the work in less than 3 hours for the quoted price. They were professional, efficient and left the area clean.

The experience was good. There was a scheduling mishap on their end, but we were able to reschedule for later in the same day and they more than made up for the issue with good work and the utmost professionalism.

We had water came into chimney from the roof. We made several calls to various roofers listed on Angie's list. Brian was the first one retuned our call and came to check next day. The roof was repaired the day after. Brian was very professional, puntual and charged us a fee that made us feel so quilty - considered he made two trips from other town, climbed up the roof two (or even more) times to get the job done. Won't know if the problem is fixed until next rain or snow. But we still greatly appreciated what Brian has done for us. Strongly recommend this company!

They did a really good job. They were reasonably priced! I was very pleased with the professionalism of this company. I would definitely hire and refer them.
