BCM Roofing

Only a few people know how to work on copper roofing problems. Ultimately I hired BCM Home Improvements' recommended copper roofing repair guy. Extremely happy. I would definitely contact BCM Home Improvements for future roofing problems.

Great job! BCM promised that the job would be completed start to finish in two days, they did it in one day. Roof looks great. Crew and owner were professional. Would recommend and/or use again.

Called BCM to have my gutters cleaned. We have gutter guards on the gutters but we have so many trees around our home that the leaves fall on top of the guards and then block the rain from going into the gutters. BCM came out and gave us an estimate. I called back to say yes, I would like the work done and set up a date/time for the work to be accomplished. BCM ended up calling me on a rainy day to say their roofing jobs were postponed due to rain and that they were on the way to clean out my gutters. Worked well as I was supposed to have my trees trimmed but that got canceled due to the rain so I was happy another project could occur. BCM did a great job removing all the debris and took the garbage with them. I would have them back to clean the gutters again and when the time comes for a roof I will be contacting them for that as well.

After initially being delayed due to rain, the crew showed up at 8 AM the day of the job. They got to work immediately and had my roof stripped withing a few hours. I had 4 guys stripping the roof, 2 guys prepping the roof and 1 guy laying shingles. They worked hard all day (it took until about 5) and the roof looks great. I spoke with each of the guys during the day, and they all seemed professional and serious about their work. The roof looks great, and we had a major downpour last night with no leaks. If I were to complain about anything, no one really introduced themselves as the foreman the day of the job, though it was clear from their interactions. I have found some nails around in the back yard, but given the size of the job and the number of nails, the 4 I have found really seem insignificant.

BCM arrived Friday morning as promised and got right to work. Tarps were placed to protect plants and area around the house..Each person seemed to have a particular job to do and they worked fast .... completing the job by 3;15. Brian, the owner, worked alongside the rest of the crew. They cleaned up the whole area and just did an outstanding job.. It was a pleasure to do business with BCM Roofing and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof . The new roof looks so nice and really enhances the total look of the house --- Thank you BCM!!!!

FIRST, WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED. ABOUT A MONTH AGO WE REALIZED WE HAD A LEAK IN THE ROOF WHICH WAS DOING DAMAGE TO THE ATTIC AND WORSE, THE CEILING. WE HAD A COMPANY COME BY AND GIVE US A QUOTE FOR REPAIRS AND TOLD US IT HAD TO BE TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY OR IT WOULD COST US THOUSANDS TO MAKE REPAIRS. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER BUT I WAS SO CONCERNED I HAD THEM TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY. A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE REPAIRS WE HAD RAIN. UNFORTUNATELY WHEN WE INSPECTED THE ATTIC THE PROBLEM WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE. THE RAIN WAS POURING IN SO WE CALLED THE COMPANY THAT DID THE WORK, " THE BRICK BOSS" ( CONSUMERS BEWARE!) AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE SITUATION. THEY PROMISSED TO RETURN AND CHECK OUT THE SITUATION. THEY NEVER RETURNED TO OUR HOUSE AND STOPPED TAKING OUR CALLS. IT WAS A COSTLY MISTAKE I WILL NEVER MAKE AGAIN. FIRST, I JOINED ANGIE'S LIST. THEN I CONTACTED A FEW RECOMMENDED COMPANIES. BCM ROOFING CAME OUT AND GAVE US A QUOTE. BEST CALL I EVER MADE. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY DID MORE WORK THEN THEY HAD EXPECTED AND CHARGED US ONLY WHAT THEY HAD QUOTED. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL FROM BEGINNING TO END. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS COMANY TO MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS WITHOUT HESITATION.

Brian and his father did a wonderful job on our greenhouse. He came out to give us an estimate on the appointment date and time. We later received a written estimate for the job. We had two large windows in the greenhouse that were leaking. After having a carpenter remove the windows and do the reframing, Brian and his dad came in and installed the four skylights and flashing. He then stripped the remaining shingles, replaced the wet insulation and plywood, and reshingled the roof. Everything was picked up when he left. We were more than pleased with the work they did. Brian was able to coordinate his work with our carpenter. This turned out to be an all day (10-7) job, in some very hot weather. The next day it rained and everything is dry inside! We would recommend them to anyone!

Outstanding customer experience. This was a very difficult job. Brian and his team were very responsive, and did outstanding work. You will not be disappointed by the guys at BCM. Despite the challenges of the project, this is one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor.

They were prompt and finished in a few hours. Also, their price was significantly below my other quotes

I requested and received quotes from four different roofing contractors. I selected BCM for the project based on the quality of information they provided at the time of quote, material selection (Owings Corning shingle), written quote detail, Angie List references, and price. They scheduled my job about 30 days from the date I authorized the project. A team of 8-10 people worked on my house beginning around 8:00 am and completing by 5:30 pm. They were professional and well organized. The owner, Brian, met me at the end of the job to field any questions, and make sure that I was completely satisfied. I am very pleased with the price, process, and quality of workmanship offered. I will be recommending them to my neighbors and friends.

BCM roofing was very professional. They use a consistent crew of roofers, and are excellent at communicating when they will be there, what the process involves, and cleaning up! BCM had to replace our roof. In the process, they replaced several water damaged areas. They began and completed our roof in a day and a half. We were very impressed with the quality of the job - our roof looks great!

My Mom needed a new roof on her home in Pontiac, and I began the search on Angie's List for a roofing company nearby. Several quotes were collected including BCM's, 2 of which were very close in cost and details of the project. Mom was most impressed by BCM's person and so she chose them for the job. The time between giving them the business and getting the work done was very short... less than a couple of weeks. On the job, they were courteous, professional, and worked very cleanly. The new roofing material arrived the evening before the work started, and they were done in a day. Considering that they tore off several layers of old roofing, it's amazing how clean they left the yard. The end result looks great, and my mom is very pleased with the quality of their work. She's very particular about things and couldn't think of a single thing to fault them on. I would use them again.

After my first phone call to BCM to inquire about a new roof estimate a time and date was agreed upon. Brian the owner showed up on agreed and about 10 minutes early for appointment, which was greatly appreciated, Brian took out his ladder and went up on the roof. After his inspection he came down and explained everything that would be needed and would be done without any hard salesmanship, everything he said was then written down. His professionalism convinced me to go with his company. After a contract was signed as Brian was leaving and about to pull off I realized I forgot to mention I was an Angie List member, I was able to stop Brian and tell him and he immediately took $500.00 off the quoted price. As for the work performed, the crew showed up on time on the agreed work date and did all work that was quoted, then after the job was completer they explained to me what done and cleaned up all debris from around the house. I was completely satisfied with the job done and would use them again and would recommend this company to other people

We were satisfied with everything that they did. We did not have any problems with them. They were timely on their schedule when they came out and that was good. They said that they would get it all done in one day and they did. They did not leave a lot of debris around the yard or the driveway. Four people came out and worked all day long and got it all done. Nobody asked to come in and use the bathroom or ask for a glass of water. They did not even really engage with us at all. I mean, from my perspective that was good and I was glad about it. My sister had a contractor one time and he wanted to come in and use the bathroom and she said okay. She has a bathroom in the lower level of her house and he used that. And then later that day, she just happened to go there and for whatever reason she happened to look at her window and it was unlocked. She never leaves that unlocked since that was like a ground entrance window. So, when that guy went in there, he unlocked her window and I do not know if he was planning to come back later and come into the house but it scared her and that scared me. So, I thought that I do not want anybody come into my house anymore. I did talk to the foreman since he had a question about the roof vents and he asked me about it. I talked to him and he just updated me about when they were going for lunch, on their progress, what they were expecting and when they thought that they would be done. He was very polite. We have no complaints about them.

We waited nearly three months, as they were booked that far out, but it was worth the wait. We had a 20 year old roof with several leaks. After we signed with them, they came out and tarped the area where the leak was to prevent any further damage. As for the repair job, they scheduled two days and worked 12 hours the first day. Rain cut short day two, but they finished up on day three. They had 7 men working on day one and two. All were courteous. Brian, the owner, was on site and working on the roof most of the time. He was great to deal with and very accommodating of any questions or concerns I had. The final product came out great and we couldn't be happier. They weren't the cheapest and we had to wait, but we feel it was worth it due to the quality of workmanship and the products used. I would recommend them to friends and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The staff was helpful with suggestion to a problem I have had for years with siding and gutters. I was grateful to finally have it fixed for a reasonable price.

I called them for a quote and the owener came out to review the job. Looked at the potential rootcauses and provided additional suggestions. I needed to get the job done before a certain date and he promised to get it done. His team showed up after a confirmation call and completed the job very professional. They cleaned up after themselfes and left the premises as clean as they found them.

They were professional about punctual. In the end, we went with another company who gave a slightly lower bid and who were available to complete the work sooner.

An existing skylight in our new home was leaking slightly with the recent heavy rains. BCM showed up early, promptly diagnosed the problem (a small leak in the seal), and fixed it within minutes. When I went to pay, the employee wouldn't take any money. Amazing service -- will definitely use BCM when I need a roof replacement in a few years.

This company was not only courteous, prompt, and very reasonable in pricing, they actually replied despite knowing they would have to come to downtown Detroit to do the job ! I had tried a few companies before checking on Angie's List, and never received a response or service once the address for the job was told to them. I had become very disheartened and disgusted with the contractors who somehow could not make the trip downtown. BCM not only did the work well and quickly, they did not make an issue out of the job location. I recommend them wholeheartedly !

Brian showed up on time and worked diligently to get the job done. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to ensure that I was satisfied. I recommend BCM Home Improvement to anyone that needs roof repairs.

The customer service and repair were both extremely professional. Phone calls were always returned promptly. The gentleman who does the scheduling (I'm sorry, I don't remember his name) was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I called the first time he told me Brian was extremely booked, and if I chose to use him for the repair it could be over a month. Because the reviews are so good I decided to get his estimate, as well as a few others. I was impressed by his honesty and explanation of the problem. He didn't try to sell me a lot of extra stuff, and he gave me two options for the repair. His price was excellent as well. We had a big rain and another leak a few days later. He came right out the next evening, and showed us what was happening. (It is a siding issue. Nothing to do with the roof.) I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

It started off with a misunderstanding which was my fault. He had an appointment at 12:30 and I was putting some things away in the basement about an hour before that. He had come early and rang the doorbell & called the house but I couldn't hear the doorbell or the phone with the washing machine & the dishwasher running. I came upstairs & sat by the window to watch for him about 12 noon & waited for an hour & no one came. I called and was told he had been there & I didn't answer the door. At first I didn't believe him but he called and said what time he had been there & I realized I'd been in the basement and he just came early. He sould have left a message on my phone - his mistake , but I believe he was sincere and he offered to come out right then, but it was rush hour & the traffic was awful at that time so he made an appointment for the next day. . He showed up on time and repaired the shingles along with nailing a couple of loose shingles. He was very polite and professional and certainly was very fair on his price. We are hoping to replace the roof next year and I intend to call for an estimate. I always get at least 3 estimates but I will certainly call him and probably hire him for the job.

Provided quick estimate, in a nicely presented folder including samples of the shingles and underlayment. Then I called and asked a lot of questions and asked for a few special requests including reusing my existing copper chimney flashing. Jake took time to answer my many questions and to take note of my special requests. Jake was in contact with me to schedule the job, to follow up and remind me they were coming and then when they were done called to ask how I found the work. I was very impressed with the whole thing. They removed my old roof, and replaced it with a very nice looking new roof. They accommodated all of my special requests, cleaned up and most importantly my roof is beautiful and has great workmanship. Couldn't be happier! Thanks BCM!
