Anteater Pest Control

I'm only sorry I couldn't give these folks zero stars. I had signed up for their service, and in the beginning they were fine. However, when they wanted to come out while I was in the hospital recovering from having my kidney removed, I told them not to come, and when they tried to reschedule, I asked them to call and confirm before coming out. Simple enough, right? Instead, they just showed up one day, knocked and then sat in the driveway. This freaked out my daughter, who had no idea who they were, and she called me in a panic. I called and talked to the guy in the driveway, and told him he was supposed to call and confirm before coming out, and that I couldn't do that day. He got very aggressive, to the point where I told him that I was no longer interested in his company's services. He finally left, and shortly thereafter, I got a full bill for services not rendered. At this point, I was not happy and I called the main number and talked with a horribly rude woman. She informed me that the bill was something I would have to pay, and when I told her I hadn't asked for this appointment, and would not have made it for a day I wasn't home, she got snippy and ended up hanging up on me. I just hope no one else is going through this with these folks. If you need pest control, you would do much better going with virtually anyone else.

I have used Anteater for a few years and been relatively happy with them. They always wanted to come back in 2 months and I always said that was too soon and rescheduled for 3 or 4 or 5 months. When I originally had them out, a couple years ago, they think I signed up for an every 2 months service. I don't recall this and am waiting for them to send me a copy of the contract that they say I signed (apparently to have them come out every 2 months forever) I guess I now know why they always wanted to come out every 2 months. When the guy was here last on 8/13 he did not have an appointment schedule that went out 4 months so I told him to have the office call me to schedule the next appointment. They never called and I thought, that is fine I really don't need the service any more anyhow. So they show up on 10/14 and leave a bill in the door for $80 for a missed and not cancelled appointment. I called and went round and round with them over a bill for service that I didn't get or schedule. I cancelled the service and thought the owner had taken the bill off my record. Wasn't a great conversation, apparently he can't make any money by doing the every 2 month service on a greater than 2 month interval. I actually didn't think that was my problem. Any rate, today 12/19, I receive a past due bill in the mail for $80. I called and was told that because I had signed up for an every 2 month service they could just schedule a service for me if one was not on the books so they did. I am currently waiting for a copy of the contract that they say I signed. I'm sure there are other pest control companies out there if I ever have another ant problem

I ended the service as I began to feel they were not right for the job. Also, I had gone through several service technicians as they seem to have a lot of turn-over. I ended up using another service that was very successful in ridding my home of the ants.

They give me half an hour's window when they are going to show up. They call me to inform that they might be a little bit late even though they are not late. They tell me and I guess it is true, that they pride themselves on giving me half an hour to show up and they stick to it.

Besides being expensive, they were very inflexible on the plans and ttreatment. Either way I had to pay for a minimum of six months worth of treatments. And every other service I spoke too said carpenter bees need to be initially treated with a powder to kill the nest. This was not going to happen with anteater according to my sales person.

.They are always on time and here when they say they will be here. They always call when they are a few minutes away which is nice. They come out monthly as we have some rooms that are on a slab so the ants like to find that warm place so they do a good job and keeping them away. We will continue to use them.

They were excellent.

I have had good luck with them. They are punctual; they pay attention to details and bring things to my attention. I had an ant problem that I did not realize I had and they got that taken care of. I like that they call the day before to remind me about the appointment, which not every company does and they are real smart when they don't because you very often forget. I have been a practicing oral for 35 years and we call everybody the day before and if we did not we would be wasting time the next day if somebody wasn't there. They do their work; they are on time and are reliable. They are also very easy to reschedule if I can't have it done today and plan on doing it. During the non snow months they treat on the outside, otherwise during the rest of the year they treat inside and out. I spend $72 every two months.

They were responsible, and their price was reasonable. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They are fine. They are doing what they are getting paid for.

They come every other month. They were punctual; they will come when they are supposed to. They are very open about what they can completely solve and what they can't and they have been able to control our problem. His name is Mike and he is just really great and very professional.

They come once every 2 months and do a good job. They were punctual and I liked them a lot. I will continue to use them in future.

Work was completed and so far the problem has not returned

They come and spray on a quarterly basis. We have used them for years. They do a fine job of controlling our ant problem as we live in a wooded area. They are reliable and punctual.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD WITH THE CHEMICALS THAT THEY USE. THEY ARE DEPENDABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY. I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR TEN YEARS. THE PRICE IS VERY COMPETITIVE.
