We have used A&D for over 3 years now. They have found and taken care of the following problems: bats, mice, squirrels and chipmunks. Our properties are heavily wooded and, unfortunately, rodents come as part of a package deal. The guys are prompt, knowledgeable, pleasant and have addressed of all of our concerns. We trust them to give us honest advice and are so grateful we found them! Most recently, they found red squirrels had invaded our basement laundry room. After the inspection, the technician took me outside to point out where they are entering the house. Traps are set. Additional measures will be taken once the weather gets warm enough for them to inspect our Cedar Shake roof.

Wonderful. Everything promised was done above and beyond. There was constant communication between A & D and us giving us a status all along the way. Nick was able to adjust his schedule and came out the same day. Knowing how to handle it, he had the raccoon in his trap within 10 minutes. This yound man was professional, polite, and took great care to protect my property. I would never hesitate to use this company again. I recommend them highly!

I called A&D in the morning and they were out by the afternoon! They came every day to check the trap and left me a notice of what they had done or found. Really nice people - from Judy in the office to the guys that came out to the house. They explained everything and there was no question about what they were doing. Highly recommend!!

I called A and D animal control Per recommendation from my neighbor I believe there was an animal in my roof area but wasn’t sure call them they came out right away discovered that there was no animal however I still have to pay the full price of $179 for that discovery I just think that was too pricey for no animal. I did asked the guy if I had to pay the full price and he said yes. Next time I will ask if no critter found do I have to pay full price before I have someone come to my home.

Excellent Service! Would highly recommend using A&D Animal Control. Got rid of all the animals within 8 days and barely a week later had them come put the defensive border in to keep future animals out.

Very happy with service provided by all. The person I spoke with initially was very cordial. She took the information and was able to put me in contact with a specialist quite quickly, Very upfront with fees for services, Once a trap was set. it was checked frequently. Prompt repair of chimney cap was done.

These guys Rock!! A mama Raccoon and her pups (3) took up residence in my uncapped or poorly capped chimney. I received nothing but superior service from the beginning. From the time I called and spoke with Judy to schedule the appointment, to meeting Matt at my house when he stopped by to check the trap and rebait it (as well as answering my questions), to watching in awe as Nick removed the litter from my chimney, to coming home and finding my chimney capped as promised. Granted, it took more than 1-2 days to trap mom, but patience paid off. The whole family was trapped and removed on the same day. This company is very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. As far as cost goes, they were as comparable as other companies that I received quotes from before choosing them. The best part was that capping my chimney was offered as a choice, not forced into the price. Great job Guys!!

A&D came out within a few hours of my call, on a Saturday. They set up 2 live traps on the roof. They checked the traps every day & 4 squirrels were caught (took about a week to make sure all the offenders were caught). They provided a temporary fix to keep the squirrels out of the attic until weather improves and a more permanent fix could be made. All is quiet again in the attic.

A&D Animal Control trapped the mother and then removed four babies. The animals were all relocated alive and well.

A+D quoted $185.00 to trap remove squirrels, thought it was high however they said that would get it done and any rodents total out the door. I asked for an written estimate gave Judy the office manager my address and email. I called Judy 7 or 8 time asking for a written estimate and she said she would have a technician do that as she does not do that. No invoice not thing arrived. Only follow up is for them to call to bill your visa?? Only when I ask for an itemized receipt after about 2 weeks they finally email a hand written invoice. I only get call from Judy to charge my credit cards. I ask what is included in charges and she says a technician will call me. I asked for an invoice bill with charges on 2/12 A_D had already billed $179.00 on my visa as we thought that was the charge to put a couple traps and live catch and release which is what they did This goes on with me calling there office another 7 times and final the tech calls and say he can seal area the squirrel chewed with wire mesh or galvanized flashing it – caulk and the total come to 400- $600 total. I asked it they could get this bill down to $500 total if i gave them a month to finish it so they could do it when they were in area? They said yes and I asked them to mail or email me the estimate. No word no quote after 4 more call Judy call and want to bill for $600.00 repair just to caulks and staple mesh over outside of gables when I asked them to do it from inside attic so it did not show?? This is an addition to them now asking $466 just for 2-3 squirrels all total now =$1066.00 when I grand total. I called my tenant and he said they (A+D) did come out for 1.5 hours and my tenants was there the whole time while A+D staple nailed some mesh on front gable and caulked. Barely more than my tenants lunch and he stayed with them until they finished. When I called Judy she said someone would call me back on the bills and the repair as I never received a written estimate to approve the work. Benjamin who said he is the owners nephew was told you were out there for 1.5 hours and no estimate and now you want to charge 600.00 more .Benjamin agreed A+D did not put in more time than 1.5 hours. How could you charge $350.00 to $400.00 an hour with no estimate signed off approving it. They only argue about how the 2 story house is high to climb my house is 2 story so are half the house in Oakland county- they are worth $350-400 hour he would charge me more if he was doing the estimate? They have collected $466. Off my visa but no more Visa has them flagged They did not give me an estimate did the work without a sign off and they called to bill no invoice. Benjamin said we don’t use email or have formal invoice’s in our business.? I said why would you not mail and estimate for me to sign and approve when I told the tech and Judy I must have that to do any work. Benjamin said we don’t use computer so we don’t do that?? Why would I pay for something I did not sign off on $1000.00++ it with charges detailed and get a written from owner approval to start work?? No they did not do any of that until they were bill for over $1000 for 2-3 squirrels and some mesh and caulk.. Benjamin did say there were no real material bills only labor time??? They did not give and estimate until after the work and slammed me with a bill and finally an invoice to justify what they did not ever get approval to bill for??Shady stay away Benjamin of AD is -Now they are calling the tenants threatening to vandalize the home and tear up the “work they did”. Run stay far away - watch them. Benjamin has my email to contact me formally. I am really disappointed that they know they overcharge but are trying to tack on more and are threatening my tenants. Do not call tenants this is harassment

Took approximately 2 weeks but raccoon was finally trapped. They came out daily to bait trap. Came out within 3 hours of notice of trapped animal.

It went very well. They were very professional when we called, they took the time to explain their entire process. We were particularly pleased with the fact that they were able to patch the hole to prevent further critter invasions! All services were performed as and when stated. The only reason we marked them down - when we first spoke with them, they made it a point to very thoroughly describe their "humane" capture and release procedures. However - from the time we noticed a critter in the trap (a squirrel) and notified them until the time they came out to retrieve the trap was 30 hours (!!). The trap was entirely exposed to the elements on our roof, and it was at a time of year (late fall/early winter) where temperatures were dipping below freezing overnight and we had some snow squalls during the night that the animal was in the trap. If we hadn't thrown a blanket over the trap, we're not sure that the little guy would have survived. The length of time it took them to retrieve the live critter just seemed pretty extensive for a company that made such a big deal of touting it's "humane" practices. Overall, though, they were very good and we would definitely recommend and hire them again if/when needed.

We turned to Angie’s List. Of the numerous companies that remove animal pests, my wife and I were impressed with the webpage, qualifications, and many recommendations of A & D. We called Judy at A & D Wednesday morning, and she was a delight to speak with. Clearly, the staff at A & D are empathetic to the plight of neighborhood wild animals. They are dedicated to removing and relocating them in a considerate and humane manner. That afternoon, the owner, Al Krier, called. We arranged an appointment for Thursday between 3 and 6 p.m. Our A & D representative was Evan, a skilled animal removal specialist. Within 15 minutes of arriving (on time as promised), madam skunk was on her way to new quarters.

We started hearing scratching noises in the ceiling. We thought maybe there were mice in the attic. Called A&D and a technician was out within an hour. The technician inspected the roof and attic. He determined that the noises were from bats not mice and referred us to another company. The technician was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Setting up service was a breeze and Judi was very informative over the phone explaining their procedures. Would use again if needed.

We put our house on the market to sell and the day before the open house, the realtor noticed some kind of "critter" tunneled under our dining room bay window. We were in a big hurry to resolve the problem because of the open house and we didn't want to turn off any potential buyers. We called a couple other places who didn't work on weekends, or who couldn't come out for a week, or who weren't interested in the business. In fairness, it was almost Friday evening when I called. But when we called A&D Animal Control, I talked to a VERY friendly and helpful woman who said they would come out the next morning (Saturday). He came right on time, very professional, set the trap, explained the process, etc. The animal was caught in the trap within 24 hours and they came right out and removed the animal. We took his suggestion to leave the trap for a couple more days to make sure there were no other critters there. At no extra charge he came back a couple of times to check. There were no other critters, so he took the trap. Very easy for us. We are extremely happy customers and would 1,000% happily recommend this company. As a follow-up, I talked to Al, the owner. What a great guy! Loves animals and the outdoors -- it is wonderful to find a person who is really committed and passionate about their work. You can feel his enthusiasm and character in all the people working there. Just an all-around great experience working with this company and these people. I thought the prices were a bargain to solve this problem for us so quickly and without any fuss.

we thought that we heard noises in the attic, Mike searched the outside of the house, went on the roof and spent a good deal of timein the attic looking for evidence of outside animals... non was found but we thought the service was thorough, timely and he was careful going into the attic

I was not happy with their service. I will not use them again unless I cannot find somebody else.
