United Lawnscape was an amazing company to work with for all services they arranged and provided and our results are outstanding! Before this, we only had existing sod, sprinklers, and a back patio at our property and wanted to design our front yard and side yard. We worked with an incredible landscape designer named Cameron. His experience and customer service was like no other contractor in this space that we had worked with in previous work from other companies. He designed a beautiful layout and could answer questions with a true depth of knowledge that comes from his years of experience. It was also especially helpful that he was able to be our single source of communication for all the teams that worked on our home. It was a seamless process and we knew when everyone was coming for each stage. Every specialty contractor that worked on our job was fabulous and completed their work with a true attention to detail and quality that gave us a lot of peace of mind. Even after the job was done, Cameron remained in contact with us to check up on installed landscape and advise on future care. We were so impressed with our experience with United that we have already had them back for a second round of landscaping (driveway pavers, landscape lighting, and more trees/shrubs).

IT DIDN’T GO! I called initially to setup an appointment for an estimate, receptionist was welcoming on the phone and advised I should receive a call by the next day. Received a call the following day from “Justin”, who apparently was one of their estimators. We scheduled a day/time for him to come to our home and he was a ½ hour late without any phone call whatsoever. Ok, overlooked that. His first question as we headed to the major part of the job was if our current image on Google Earth included our existing 2-tier patio and I said yes. That was my mistake because he spent no more than 15 minutes at our home. Took no measurements, made no notations of materials and plants I wanted in the quote even though I gave him a spreadsheet will the plant pictures and names. Also, provided him with 2 types of stone I wanted priced out to make our decision on which to use. This appointment took place at the beginning of the work week and he promised a quote by the end of the business week (Friday). Heard nothing by Friday, so decided to email Justin to see when an estimate would be available for me. No response until Wednesday the following week when he promised AGAIN to have an estimate to me by Close of Business that day! You guessed it, no response AGAIN! So, decided to give him a week to respond considering that we are now entering their busy quoting season and projects are beginning to break ground. Nothing received, so once again I emailed him asking for some type of response even if it was a “NO QUOTE” meaning they aren’t interested in the project. It’s been a week now and no response. So sad though, I grew up in Washington Township (not far from their home office) and try to support the businesses that many of my old high school friends now own in that area, BUT Justin and his lack of consideration & professionalism forced me to support a competitor of theirs from a neighboring town with my business. I guess a project costing $10,000 is not worth United Lawnscape’s time nor enough profit to do work in a township where homes value 300k – 500k as opposed to Washington’s 600k+ home values. I suggest considering Rainbow Landscaping in Shelby Township, they’ve been completely wonderful to work with so far and are extremely knowledgeable and talented with their business. I’ll NEVER consider United Lawnscape for any future projects, but I will use Rainbow again and again!

Excellent! We worked with Diane, a landscape designer from United. She was professional and always on time. Her design was better than we anticipated, we didn't change a thing. The install was just as professional. The team did a great job and cleaned up everything. Will recommend United to all of our friends and family.

Our landscape designer, Cameron, spent countless hours with us to ensure that the end result would be exactly as we envisioned. His experience and expertise were invaluable in helping us select the appropriate plants and trees to achieve our goals. In addition to Cameron, the skilled landscape crews who planted the trees and shrubs, installed our patio and walkway, and set up the irrigation system went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We absolutely LOVE our new yard and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use United Lawnscape. From the first contact with United everything went smooth. Sam was great at explaining how everything would work and what the process was. We then got set up with Leah, the designer who was fabulous and did exactly what we were looking for. The installers were absolutely fantastic. They did a complete sod and landscaping install all in one day and kept everything nice and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They made our new house feel like home!

United Lawnscape has provided the design, installation & continued maintenance for the landscaping at our new home. From start to finish we could not be happier with their work. They listened closely to our wishes and executed the plan on time. The end result is a jaw droppingly beautiful yard! Every member of their team, top to bottom, is customer focused & extremely accommodating. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The United team deigned and installed exactly what we wanted. Our homes landscaping is absolutely beautiful. From design to integration the process was customer focused and detail oriented. I would recommend United for all landscaping needs.

We used United Lawnscape & Pools for our landscape remodeling and was completely satisfied with them. They pulled out our old landscape and replaced it with beautiful flowers, bushes and tree's. They worked on both our front and back yard. My husband and I sit in the back and think we are sitting in a park with all the beautiful greeneries. Cameron is top notch and knows all about the shrubs and tree's that would work for us. He is a great person to work with and highly recommend him. If your looking to replace or start a landscape job, don't hesitate to contact United Lawnscape & Pools. You will not be disappointed.

They have good pricing. They were very thorough. They replaced old plants that didn't survive the winter for no charge. I would recommend the company.

I was told the job was scheduled to take 2 days by a crew of 4 or 64 hours labor. On the day the job started the owner showed up and said the job would take one day. A crew of six did complete the job in less than one day indicating the labor was over estimated and I was over charged. When I inquired about a reduction in price I was told the price was as quoted. I would think professional crew could take up a small lswn with a power lawn remover but these guys seems to have a hard time getting the old grass removed in a neat, timely and orderly manner. I actually laid out the bed outline myself and located the two major trees with stakes. Lucky I was on site most of the time or the trees would have been planted in the wrong spots. The placement of other plants was haphasard and a number of them had to be moved multiple times to get a pleasing and symmetric appearances The landscape designer actually moved a number of the plants herself because I got the impression the actual crew would get upset if asked to move plants that they did not plant properly the first tiem. I specified a certain type of mulch and had to tell the contractor where to get the material. The border between the beds and was made of river boulders. I was told by the landscape architect that the crew could take a great deal of care to select and position the boulders yet in 15 minutes done. Where is the care. In the end the boulders were clustered by size, a series of smaller then larger then smaller instead of intermixing sizes. At some time in the future I will have to go back and rearrange the boulders to create the desired appearance. To create a planting bed for flowers, a steel edging was to be installed 1' in from of the rock edging. in some places it is 1' and other places it is further away. So much for consistancy. The trees were plantedwith burlap and steel cage left in place around the rootball. I don't think that is the way it should be done based on my readings. The lawn was installed and not rolled. I had to go and get my own roller. Everyarticle I have read on installing sod says to roll yet the contractor seems to have his own method. 14 months after the install I was looking at some of the small evergreen shubs and noticed that they are turning brown. Not sure if that is an issue with the quality of the plants or not. On the home page of the contractors web site there is a line that says “At United Lawnscape, we’re committed to not only meeting you requirements but exceeding your expectations”.. United Lawnscape didn’t even come close to meeting the minimum of landscape quality and good workmanship. In summation, I would not recommend United Lawnscape as a design/build landscape firm. High prices and at poor quality sum up this company.
