John turned out to be the perfect choice for us. I had never done business with Amber Electric before. I'm always a little apprehensive hiring new people because you're never sure what your getting. John was everything the other reviews said he'd be: honest, professional, punctual, thorough, neat, respectful, a quick worker, and extremely helpful with ideas to save me money and time. I'm not recommending him to anyone because I don't want him too busy when I need him! I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't be more than satisfied with John's work. Seriously, this guy is a gem and after my one experience with him he's my electrical guy!
Description of Work: I was having electrical breakers popping off and couldn't figure out what was causing the problem. John had to troubleshoot and then fix the problem. I ended up needing some new lines to distribute the load better. He also went beyond what was expected and caulked outside boxes to prevent moisture problems.

We got in touch with John through Porch. He called right away and was able to give us a quick quote over the phone, and actually came out the very same day. He was on time and friendly. We asked about replacing our exhaust fans in the future and we will definitely schedule him for that.

Description of Work: John and his assistant arrived on time and ran a 220 line so that I could replace the gas stove that I hated with a new electric range. John's work is always exemplary, now as it has always been for the decades that I've used his services. Of course they also cleaned up and explained everything that was done.

Fantastic. He called and said he'd come by to give a quote and ended up installing the lighting that very same day. Provided quotes for other work I need done in the future as well.
