Maple Lane Pest Control

Merle arrived right on time and was very knowledgable (I learned things about ants I never knew!). He sprayed not only for carpenter ants, but treated some anthills in the yard as well. Best of all, no more big, black ants!

Called the company at 9:00 am after waking up at 2:00 am to find 8-10 carpenter ants crawling around my bedroom! They offered an appointment the same day but as I had to work until 7:00 they scheduled for 9:00 am the next morning. They were there promptly at 8:55am and were very professional.

It is a family business. The guy who came the first time was not the one who came last time. However, he was just as friendly and took care of business. He explained things to me. Everything was done very well by him. He called me to ask in he can come two or three hours earlier. I rate them high overall.

Started in kitchen where the ants were the most and continued throughout house, basement, sunroom, garage, and then exterior,full perimeter. I have seen an occassional ant/spider which appeared to have been affected by spray.

We had some odourous black ants coming into the house which we wanted to get rid of. We called Maple Lane Pest Control and set up an appointment. Brian came over at the agreed upon time and identified the ants. He explained everything thouroughly and decided to use a gel trap for the ants. He also sprayed inside and outside to prevent other insects. He explained that they spray the same insecticide in hospitals and explained why it's safe for humans. The ants were gone in about a week. This was the second year that we've used Maple Lane and we've dealt with Brian on both occassions. Brian is a complete professional. We are completely satisfied with the service provided.

We had a horrible pavement ant infestation this spring. Called on a Friday and they were able to come out on Monday. Did both exterior and internal spraying and bait traps inside. We saw immediate improvement! A few ants were found about a week later but then all gone! Thanks Maple Lane! We'll see you in the fall to keep this problem under control and avoid future infestations!!

They were prompt, professional, and informative, even to the point of offering me advice on services that I could do myself, saving substantial amounts of money. To me, they epitomize what I look for in a service or product organization. I recommend them highly at this point. I have another treatment in about 90 days and will see how their product matches up to others I've used and if they exude the same professional demeanor.

Brian came out to spray and he told me exactly why we were getting ants, everything he was going to do , what was going to happen and what will happen in the future. He was careful of my house and it's items and he took special care because we have pets. He was great and I have not seen one ant since! I will continue to use this local company in the future and will recommend everyone else do so also.

They are wonderful. They were on Angie's List. I found them originally a couple of years ago and I have been using them ever since. There was a coupon on Angie's List for senior citizen discount. They provided excellent service. They took care of the problem with one visit and they were prompt. They got me in really quick. Any of the guys that come out have always been very courteous, very thorough and they listen which is very nice. They listen carefully to everything I have to say about my problem. I notice them only with earwigs. I have an irritation. They came out once and they sprayed and I never saw another one. I am waiting now to see what happens when it warms up this spring. My grand kids are scared of them. I hate them so much. I am so glad I have Maple Lane. They are really great. They have been coming since the last couple of years and each time they come out (I had a carpenter ant problem in 2008) they take of the pest and never have that again. When I had carpenter ants, I had a guy that was putting up wooden trim around the house and when he took out a wood area there were carpenter ants in there and I called Maple Lane and they were out within half an hour to come and spray up here and I had them check up, but they hadn't got into the house. I was so impressed that they came out immediately. I don't know how to compare their price. They are a little pricey, but I get what I pay for.

They did the work promptly as promised while I was away.

Paul Labuhn sent a technician to treat the house the next morning. The technician, Rob Williams, inspected every corner of the house and treated it with bait for mice. Although Paul did not feel I needed a follow-up visit, he sent Rob the next morning to see if any mice had been caught in the traps that were set. Rob came out a week later for another walk-through and will follow up one more time when the owner of the house returns. Paul went out of his way to provide service above and beyond the typical service provided by a pest control company. He provided complimentary follow-up service several times as well as a cabinet pick-up a week later for garbage day, although this was not part of the original agreement. Paul was interested in my satisfaction with his company's service to the utmost. The technician, Rob Williams, was extremely thorough, detail-oriented, professional, thoughtful, dedicated to his job, and interested in the customer's satisfaction of the work performed. The service provided by Maple Pest Control is so above and beyond expectations in today's "self-service ... no customer service" America that I still cannot believe the high quality and level of service provided. I highly recommend this company without any reservations!

Representative was called on Sunday and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. He came on time and located what was thought to be the place they were entering the house. He sprayed on all three floors and gave instructions on what to do after he was finished, regarding pets and cleaning the sprayed areas. He was very professional. Although he said it might take up to a month to eliminate them, I have seen any live ones since.

Arrived on time with the right equipment. Did the work quietly and efficiently, provided some tips on pest control and helped identify an insect that I had noticed inside my house (wood roach). I have definitely seen a decrease in insects inside the house, so would recommend their services. The no-contract theme is useful, though they still charge more for the first service and less for subsequent services.

They had to come twice because they didn't give it enough the first time. They came right away and when the wasps weren't dead, they came back. I like that they are local and that they didn't charge to come back. The next is in the attic so they had to treat outside where the wasps were going in and out. I didn't compare their price with anyone else but it was less than I thought that it would be.

Everything went very well. They were very professional and took care of the problem quickly. They gave me tips on preventing infestations for the following year. They did not overcharge me, and the price was reasonable for the work they did. They were extremely helpful, and are just a great company.

They were polite and straight to the point. They came out and did the job when they said they would. Their prices are competetive with everyone else.

They came out very quickly to take care of everything. They found the hole that they were getting in through quickly, patched it, and put up some material to kill the wasps. They were about ninety five percent effective. They were very responsive and I felt that they did a pretty good job.

When I called in the morning they said they could come out that evening. We already patched a hole in the ceiling which the yellow jackets made the night before. I left for a while in the afternoon to come home to several yellow jackets flying around our great room. I sprayed Black Flag again on the area, killed as many yellow jackets as I could find and called Maple Lane Pest Control again. The gentleman said he would try to be there as soon as possible. I only had to wait about and hour and a half before the serviceman showed up. He sprayed a substance in the hole the yellow jackets made in the great room and then went outside to spray more in the area they were entering from the outside. Very professional and friendly. He said if there were any remaining pests in the next few weeks he would come back out and spray again.

A visit was scheduled within a week of when I called for service. The technician was supposed to come at noon and he called at 11:30 to state that he would be 15 to 20 minutes late. He showed up as promised.He took the time to answer my questions.

Called to make an appointment for preventative service and left message on answering machine. They returned my call within an hour and were very professional. I made an appointment for the following week, when I was planning to be home from work. The technician arrived within the window of time they said he would. He was professional, conscious of making sure he didn't bring dirt into my house. (He said he would spray inside first, then go outside in order to not track dirt into my house). He took his time and sprayed all baseboards inside (including basement ceiling where it is not finished). He also recommended things for me to do outside to keep insects from getting into the windows. I received a $10.00 discount because I'm an Angie's member.

The appointment started on time and was complete in approximately 30 minutes. The technician was friendly and answered my questions.

My appointment with Rob was between 10 and 11 am. Rob called me at 10 am, stating that he was making a courtesey call and that he would arrive in 10-15 minutes which he did. He listened to my concerns before he went to work. I had seen a dead baby mouse in my basement and several centipeds in my bathroom. He listened to my problems and answered all of my questions about bugs. He explained in detail what he was going to do. He was very knowledgable about pest control. He was extremely friendly. He finished all of the work in about one-half hour. I was extrmeely pleased with everything that the did.

Very well. Bryan is great! He told me exactly what he was going to do and did it. They have a thorough approach to what they do. They really listen.

They took care of the problem fairly quickly. He was very punctual, he responded within eight hours. He lived up to his description and so far it has worked very well. His price was very reasonable compared to major companies. He was very considerate about our home, not damaging any plants, shrubs, or the house itself. He was very professional.

Very coincidentally, they were already scheduled to come out to remove wasp nests and for several days prior, we had heard noises coming from the corner of the bedroom. We could not identify them, and never though of looking up at the ceiling. When John came to spray the paper wasp nests, I asked him if he could check the bedroom to see if he could solve the mystery of the noises. He noticed the ceiling immediately and went into action. The next thing I knew he was in full beekeeper garb, covered from head to toe. 20 minutes later, there was a hole in my ceiling about 15" x 10", and approximately 1000 wasps were removed with their hive. We were very lucky, as the drywall had already cracked and the wasps were close to breaking through. The charge for this was very reasonable and he waved the charge for the several wasp nests that he removed around the house. When we discovered several more the next week, someone was sent out and took care of them the next day.
