Maple Lane Pest Control

They were professional and on time. They were honest about what they were going to do. He took his time and put out significantly more traps than the last company I worked with. He did a good job.

NOT WELL AT ALL. Today it is three weeks since they applied the spray. I am still having ants in my kitchen. It is so gross. They are crawling on my kitchen counter where I try to prepare food. They are under the sink and crawling in the trash can. They are crawling on the stove where I am fixing food. They are on the pots and pans when I have them on the burners. They are on the micro above where I am trying to fix dinner. They did come out one week after the first application and sprayed around the kitchen work area again but it has not seemed to work. I have called a third time but I was told to wait a little longer. REALLY it is so sickening having ants crawling on the work area of my kitchen. I cannot stand it any longer which is why I am writing this review. For $160.00, which is a lot I think, I should be done with this problem. I will definitely not use this company again. I will tell my family and friends about this. I also had to wait 6 days for them to come out the first time after I called. So I have been dealing with this for 1 month today. Enough already.

Rob came to our house on time, put booties on whenever he was in the house, and was extremely nice. He was very generous to spend extra time to walk me around the house and answer all our questions about spraying in the home (we have an 11 month old). We would call Maple Lane Pest Control again without question.

Agreed to come back for th next 4 months with no extra charge if mice reappeared. Gave me the Angie's list discount even though I didn't have a coupon.

I have been using Maple Lane for a couple of years now. They usually come in the spring and fall and spray for ants for me. They are always on time when they say they will be. I had an issue with a lot of ants one day and they came in the next day and sprayed for me and we never saw another one. I don't even get spiders. I feel they are better priced than any other pest control in the area.

It did get rid of the hornets right away but it seems like a lot of money for 15 minutes of time and not having to crawl into a confined area. Other then the price, the hornets were gone.

It was excellent. I believe I got them from Angie's List. It was one person that came out. He was very patient in figuring out where the ants were coming from, he really looked hard. It took him may be half an hour to do the service. I'm over the moon ecstatic with the excellence I have.

Went great. Maple was the only service that could come out same day which was appreciated.

The young lady on the phone sounder really nice and explain the extermination process in detail and i was prepared to schedule an appointment. Once i said my home is in Detroit the tone of the conversation changed like a dark clouds taking over a cloudy day. She said they service The Grosse Pointes which is less than 1/2 mile away but refuse to service to my home and family is insulting and very unprofessional. I will do all i can to inform my community members, community leaders and Angies list of this companies discriminatory practices.

My daughter lives in Ferndale and just discovered she had a "rodents" nest inside her engine under the glove box. We had her entire garage cleaned out, replaced weather stripping on those doors. We asked Maple Lanes to come by because a large mound of dirt just appeared in the middle of her yard with a burrow hole that was fairly good size. The dirt and tunnel were from chipmunks and the grass that was being dug up (no holes) was from squirrels. However, he did locate two rat holes behind a neighbor's garage where they had piles of junk sitting. Then next door we also found signs of a rat burrowing behind the garage. However, these neighbors had set two bait boxes nearby. There were no signs of rats, food, water etc. at my daughter's home. I learned a lot and feel confident we have done what we can and now we must just be vigilant. Mr. Sass was very nice and well-informed. I would use this service again and suggest them to neighbors and friends!

There was an immediate drop in activity around the entrance to the nest. However, they said it may take 4-5 days for the poison to exterminate the entire nest. It has not been that long yet, so we will see. The work is guaranteed for one year, and if the nest is still active next week, they will come back and re-apply the pesticide. The technician was prompt & courteous.

I would call again if there is a service I needed that they offered.

I called them and spoke to representative named Michael. He was very courteous and professional. He sent someone out three days later. He explained the whole process to me. He said if they couldn't get the yellow jackets eliminated in one service call they would return at no additional charge. On August 20, 2013 service tecnician named Michael ( not the same Michael as the phone operator) arrived at my home more than professionally willing to tackle the job. He was extremely courteous and professional. He explained to me that it would probably take two attempts to fully eradicate the yellow jacket nest but it would not cost me any additional amount of money. He INSISTED that I telephone the company on the following Friday (three days later) and inform them of the status of the yellow jackets but also to tell them that if no yellow jackets were present he still needed to return to my residence and complete a second application of the pesticide. He stated the only purpose of my call was to schedule a second application of the pesticide. On the following Monday morning I telephoned Maple Lane Pest Control and spoke to a phone operator named Marianne. She was VERY dismissive about Michael's recommendations and told me they did not need to come out again. When I emphasized what the technician named Michael insisted that I do namely schedule a second application, she said she would have to talk to Michael first before she scheduled anything. Then she backtracked and said that if they came out again I would not have to be home to meet them. She said she would call me back within the next day or two. The entire conversation I would gauge her as being unprofessional rude and dismissive. It has been well over a month since I called and I still have not heard back from her or anyone from Maple Lane. The sad thing is, their technician Michael was very nice, professional and capable. If I was merely reviewing him the outcome would be stellar. He was so impressive I even gave him a tip although he insisted I did not need to do this. Maple lane was frustrating to deal with. They don't even take their own technicians advice or follow the terms of their own contract. I will not be using them again.

They took care of the queen bee and that took care of the other bees. They guaranteed their work for a year.

I had Maple Lane Pest Control treat my house in the spring for wasps and they did a great job. I have not had any problems with wasps as in past years after they treated the house exterior. Several weeks ago I turned on the exhaust fan in the bathroom and noticed the fan was running very fast and sounded like it was blocked by something. I went outside with binoculars and took a look at the exhaust fan vent on the roof and noticed several wasp nests in the exhaust vent that was preventing the door flap to open. Maple Lane sent a crew out and they sprayed the vent area and removed the nests in the vent. They were quick and professional about their work and ended up charging me less than the price that was quoted to me on the phone when I called. I will be using Maple Lane Pest Control again next year.

The night before the I called Maplelane, I was awaken by noises in the attic right above my bed. There was very clearly something walking around up there in the middle of the night, which was extremely unsettling, as one might imagine. I called first thing the next morning and while Maplelane does not perform bat removal services, they did refer me to Accurate Wildlife Eviction, who was able to quickly come to my residence and solve the problem!. Thanks for not just saying, "No. We don't do that."

The technician was prompt, courteous and, most important, got rid of our flea problem permanently.

He said that he thought that would take care of the problem and that, since he did not have to get up on the ladder to do the work, there was no charge. I was very happy with the whole experience.

They were on time. Said what they were going to do, and did it. Courteous and professional.

I like the service that they're providing and I've been using them for about 25 years. I really like them I think their price is fair. They're on time. They here on what time they said they'll be here. They're very professional. They spray on the inside and the outside, and the price is pretty fair.

Two weeks ago I made my request for service and asked for Brian. They honored my request and gave me today, Wednesday, May 29 at 1:00 pm when Brian would be available. Brian called at 11:00 am to say that we could come earlier and he arrived at 12:10 pm. He sprayed my entire condo, all three levels and gave some advise about how to keep bugs out of my basement. He sprayed around the windows and near the ground on the outside of the condo. It is a pleasure to have Brian as the technician. I will continue to ask for him each time I need the service. I ordered the bi-annual spray service which requires that I will have a second treatment of the procedure in the fall.

Great expierence. Did a very complete job in spray the outside of the house to include the overhangs, windows, garage doors, porches, along the perimieter of the house. Then came inside and did along the baseboards in the basement, 1st and 2nd floor. Not sure if it worked yet since they just sprayed yesteday, but they have a 90 day guarantee. Both the person on the phone and the one that came out were wonderful.

I had a monster yellowjacket nest in my attic. It was found by the guy who was spraying in insulation. I called Maple Lane Pest Control and he came with his whole regalia and sprayed it. About a week later I noticed bees coming out of the same area and he came back and resprayed it, and didn't charge me. I would have them back again. He was on time, he was professional, he made sure to let me know that these were not honey bees because I felt bad about that.
