Dr Sweep

Description of Work: Nathan was great! found my dryer vent system was so blocked because it was put in by the pervious owner incorrectly so he went to the store and got the correct material and redid the vent--explained it all and showed me all the blocked material-- so lucky no fire in the house! I am very pleased I used this company and got this service done--will use them again for my chimney next year!

Description of Work: As with others, I had a little difficulty with the scheduling. As it worked out, a friend was at the house when the Dr. Sweep tech arrived and tended to both gas fireplaces. I got a written report of what was done - a checklist, and the fireplaces look much nicer than before.

Description of Work: I used Dr Sweep to clean the chimney. On a separate occasion in March 2012 they cleaned the gutters.

Description of Work: Although the tuck pointing appeared to be done adequately, the attitude and demeanor of the estimator and the contractor was not up to Angie's List standards. People were supposed to call ahead, but just appeared. They were to come on one day, didn't, and came another There was supposed to be a contractor and a helper, but the helper never arrived. The contrator was supposed to focus on all four sides of the house, but appeared to only work on two sides. Lastly he offered to return and bid on another project we had going. And, we're still waiting, but the project was completed by another.

Description of Work: They were supposed to remove the existing chimney cap, which was cracked. They were supposed to do a chimney sweep as well and check the gas line.
