Description of Work: As with others, I had a little difficulty with the scheduling. As it worked out, a friend was at the house when the Dr. Sweep tech arrived and tended to both gas fireplaces. I got a written report of what was done - a checklist, and the fireplaces look much nicer than before.

Description of Work: I used Dr Sweep to clean the chimney. On a separate occasion in March 2012 they cleaned the gutters.

Description of Work: Although the tuck pointing appeared to be done adequately, the attitude and demeanor of the estimator and the contractor was not up to Angie's List standards. People were supposed to call ahead, but just appeared. They were to come on one day, didn't, and came another There was supposed to be a contractor and a helper, but the helper never arrived. The contrator was supposed to focus on all four sides of the house, but appeared to only work on two sides. Lastly he offered to return and bid on another project we had going. And, we're still waiting, but the project was completed by another.

Description of Work: They were supposed to remove the existing chimney cap, which was cracked. They were supposed to do a chimney sweep as well and check the gas line.

Description of Work: Have a fireplace insert for 2 years and needed a sweep. Tech was in specified time and very knowledgable. He did a complete inspection and cleaned up after. Used this service because another customer said she had an insert and they did it fine. She was correct. Cap was very soiled and he cleaned it and suggested using a different type (which we will do ours) to reduce the amount of build up. Fireplace really roared with first fire on cleaning day. Getting alot more air. Really made a differance. Will use this service again. Very pleased.
