Dr Sweep

Purchased a deal in November 2013 for full house gutter cleaning. Mentioned during initial contact home also had detached garage. Tech was a no-call no-show on initially scheduled day, and then it got "too cold" to perform for the season. My fall gutter cleaning purchased in Nov '13 did not get performed until May '14. It was incumbent on me to initiate contact with the service in the spring. Upon contact this spring, they were responsive. All communication had been documented using the messaging system, so there was really no point of dispute between either party. The tech came and service was performed as scheduled, but the garage was not addressed. So technically, yes, I paid for a whole "house" cleaning, and, even though I mentioned in the very first contact the home had a detached garage, I did not clearly request the garage be included.. but it still seems like missed opportunity for the vendor. With the saplings growing out of the garage gutters, it was pretty evident they needed attention, but I had to contact them again, at which time the tech came out, provided an additional estimate, and performed the service. I would still use the service again, it was appropriately priced and well done. The minor issue was with the initial tech no-call no-show which ended up pushing the service off for six months, but hey, it was a crazy winter. Can't comment on professionalism/punctuality really because I never came in contact with the tech.

I needed to have this service done by this past weekend, so I would like to cancel my order and receive a full refund. Thank you.

It was fine. I don't think there wasn't anything extra in the price. I wasn't here but my husband was. It was one man and I guess he did a good job. We went to light everything and it didn't work again so he came right out within 2 days and all it was was they didn't pilot it at the right setting. They were very informative, very nice, and very polite. When they came out again, there was no charge even though it was my fault, not theirs.

It went well. They were on time and able to fit me into their schedule when I called. The guy was extremely nice. He was at the home for 35-45 minutes.

They came and cleaned my gutters but I wasn't home. Everything seemed ok.

Purchased as a deal via Angie's List. They did not call me to schedule the work as was indicated when I purchased the service. I finally called, but they could not find a record of my purchase. Eventually, this matter was resolved. When work was finally scheduled, a team of three showed up on time. However, they did not know what work I was supposed to have done. Additionally, they did not know that I had already paid for the service. This took multiple phone calls to their office to verify my payment - part of which was for me to show my computer printout of the purchase receipt. Finally, they cleaned the gutters. The job was poorly done - some of the gutters still had leaves in them, etc.

They cleaned out the fireplace for me. They did a really nice job at the time. They were on time and very clean. The ignition switch will not turn off which I didn’t realize for a few weeks but I have not followed up with them regarding it.

I sent the company a message. They responded to my message with the information that I had just sent them where was my contact info and the dates that I was free for this service. Their listing stated that they would respond within 2-3 business days. We are going on a week now and still no response.

Started out doing ok, then I asked him to fix some of the chimney while the mortar was not all the way dry, but on the backside that faces the roof, looks like a total different person had done it. It was missing some mortar and I asked him to fix it, and he kept saying no, that it would be ok. Contacted supervisor came out and looked at it and said that he agrees with member. and said that they would come back out to fix it, the first guy left debris in my gutters, and used full strength acid that is not suppose to be used. Called this morning and she said that she would have to pull the paperwork and call him back. 4-5 hours went by and I called her back, and she said that they didn't have the paperwork yet, from 2 weeks ago.

Not sure what happened but credit card was charged and never heard a word from anyone.

He was prompt and efficient. Gave us an estimate for repair work and we will likely use them.

Overall good service, my only disappointment was that the junk they got out of the gutters were left on the floor in some sides of the house.

They did a good job. It was a Groupon. The guy kept his appointment and he was on time. It actually started to rain when he was there and he kept working through that because he said he didn't want to come back to inconvenience me. His diligence was duly noted. He gave me advice on how to keep it clean. He was an all around courteous guy and did a nice thorough job. He was very neat and he didn't make a mess. He put on shoe protectors. He didn't bring a whole lot of tools into the house. When he was done, he cleaned up real nice. I was completely satisfied with his work. The Groupon was excellent.

It was great. He arrived on-time. He did the required work and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely use them again.

The tech didn't show me the before or after so I can't comment on his work. I don't have any reason to suspect that he didn't do what he was supposed to do. The ratings I gave that were less than "Good" were due to the customer service person. When I first contacted them the person didn't listen to my needs and did high pressure sales. After the service I asked a question that unfortunately required follow up and has now been over a week without an answer. I put a Yes for "would I use them in the future", but if the customer service is the same, then I probably wouldn't.

It went okay; I don't think that they knew that I was home. So I could hear him cursing on the roof.

Went OK. I had to call on the day after the time had passed for them to show for appt. I understood it was storming that day. The crew showed up and worked without checking in. They did call 15 minutes before arrival. They did clean out the gutters. They cleaned up about 75% of the gutter debris and left the rest on the sidewalks and yard. The left without checking out with a receipt in the door.

It went well. Scheduling was easy. We weren’t home when they performed the service, but the cleanup was great.

We were very pleased with Dr. Sweep. They contacted us and set up an appointment swiftly. They showed up on time and thoroughly and efficiently cleaned our full gutters. They were even kind enough to fix a spot where the gutter had pulled away from the house. Having clean gutters made all the difference the next time it rained! We will have them come back in the fall.

They did a wonderful job. They were prompt, clean, and professional. They even provided us with additional repair recommendations and quotes for our chimney without being pushy. Will be calling them in the future.

I WAS NOT THERE AS THE HOUSE WAS UP FOR S ALE. NEIGHBOR SAID THEY WORKED VERY HARD.

They did really good. Their rates were pretty good and they were available. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. They were here right when they said and they called when they were on their way.

It went well. He cleaned the fireplace and I was satisfied with the work.

Super easy and efficient. I bought the deal and had to pay an additional $25 because my house is 3K sq ft (limit for the deal was 2,400 sq ft). I told them about the size when I scheduled the appointment and there was no problem. I was working from home and didn't even realize they were here until they were halfway done. The whole job was completed in about an hour. No muss, no fuss. It rained earlier today and the gutters were so clogged the water was pooled in places? now its flowing through as intended.
