We hired Creative Building and Remodeling to update our kitchen. We had an excellent experience from start to finish! Every worker was professional, timely and communicated frequently with updates and suggestions. Scott Nottingham did an amazing job with our Island reface and paid attention to detail with every aspect of the job. Scott and Mandy were pleasant, informative, and created a clean and safe environment. Tony did an excellent job with the tile and was also professional and neat. We are extremely happy with the final outcome of our kitchen update. CREATIVE ALMOST CAUSED OUR HOUSE TO BURN DOWN BECAUSE THEY DON'T LISTEN. We insisted on Ground Fault Circuits because of the obvious safety feature when something overloads. Instead they just installed regular plugs and to no one's surprise, we had an electrical fire in our brand new kitchen a couple weeks later that would have never happened if they had installed all GF as we asked multiple times. We also had to deal with fraudulent billing and extra invoices that were sent to us with no explanation, which we wasted more time disputing. Almost every single contractor was hours late or didn't bother to show. . Two of them asked if they could use our bathroom and both urinated all over the floor. Another two yelled misogynist comments while they blasted music at top volume without even asking if it was okay. Their "Mudder Guy" is the laziest slob I've ever seen. He only worked barely 3 hours a day because in HIS exact words: "I'm not a morning person." He was obviously not a "take responsibility for cleaning up my messes guy" either. He slopped drywall crap all over our house and down every single one of our basement stairs, which took over two weeks for us to clean. US, not him. Another guy knocked down the wrong wall because he refused to look at the remodel plans that were right in front of his face. The same clown threw out our brand new garbage disposal into the garbage (or he took it, I honestly don't know which). City inspections were delayed or failed because of other errors that were made with the cabinet installation. The people that installed the cabinets didn't even install the right components and our inspection failed again. There were so many other mistakes made that I can't even remember them all, and getting anyone at Creative to return a phone call is next to impossible, unless you're ok with a brief text message that doesn't even answer your question (although the owner sure came here fast when he wanted his money). They had our plans in November 2022 and were still trying to get a kitchen remodel finished in spring 2023. Of course if Jerry does bother to respond to this review, he'll respond the same way he did to every one of our concerns: either "that's not my employee" that did that, or "that's a contractor, they don't work for me." He fails to comprehend that customers are not going to remember the names of any of the subcontractors he assigned to do work. His company is the only one that clients will remember.

Excellent work. Eric was very professional and did such a great job! He even hooked up a sink I could use while waiting for the counter tops to come in. Highly recommend this company!

We could not have been any happier with the entire experience Creative provided in our kitchen total but and renovation. From the start to finish and many challenges they faced along the way the team got it done and we went from a 1950s dated kitchen to a beautiful up to date dream kitchen. They kept every promise they made for which we are forever grateful.

My experience with Creative Building was great. They made the process easy and the work was very professionally done. I'm very happy with the result for the money paid. I had my 1950s bathroom complete gutted, installed an exhaust fan, full tile bath/shower, tile floor, vanity, and toilet. Was able to go to work everyday and trust the work was being done properly without me being there. Work was complete in 2.5-3 weeks time which was a little more than expected but happy with the result.

Superior work. Punctual, courteous and great attention to detail. Was very impressed with the outcome of the job.

Our new bathroom is amazing! What a difference! Brett and Jim did a wonderful job and were very knowledgeable, hard-working, and dependable. We appreciated the importance they placed on getting the job done right. We felt like we were in good hands. Tony, who did our tile work, did a beautiful job with it, and we are very pleased. Dave and Lorrie in the office were easy to work with as well.

Excellent materials and workmanship. Our job was started before the date we were given and finished in a timely manner. Scott is an excellent workman and paid attention to details.

Overall the company did a fantastic job. Counter top installers were exceptional - came in took them about 2 hours. Cambria was the counter top provider - even received a cheese board from the company made with the matching quartz from our counter top which was a pleasant surprise. Primary installer did all the refacing, appliance installation, plumbing work and did a fantastic job. Installer installed all of my new appliances. Installer called in his electrician to relocated an electrical outlet by the stove and remove the old vent fan. Installer insulated old vent and sealed with cement. Tile installer (Rich - ENS Tile and Stone, LLC) unfortunately was not very personable complaining about the prep-work and did not work well with my wife. However the workmanship on the tile was very well done. Plumbing done was done to code - however for our job additional plumbing work is required which was out of scope for this company but identified during the installation.

David and his helper who did the floor were great and even showed my husband how to replace a piece of the floor if need be. Rich installed the backsplash in the kitchen and it looks awesome. They assembled a great group of people to get the job done. We started the process in September and it was final finished January 8, 2017 and we're loving the results. Last but not least Lorrie and David were great they answered all questions, even the one's I had after I saw something on HGTV I thought would look nice in my kitchen.

I hired Creative Building & Remolding to completely redo my master bathroom. During the installation their contractor assured my husband and me on separate occasions that the floor would be level. When the bathroom was completed the floor and toilet were NOT level. We reported it to the owner and sent him pictures. The owner said it would require extra work and expense; the installer NEVER said this. The owner did not offer any remedy until I filed a complaint with the BBB; even then he would not guarantee it would be level. I promised to UPDATE my online reviews, but he rescinded his offer when I refused to REMOVE my online reviews.

We hired them last year and we got the work done this year. The total job was actually pretty reasonable. They made an incredible difference. It’s gorgeous. The work is pretty much really, really good. I’d say that their heavily charged is exceptional. Creative Building & Remodeling was very responsive. They did a really good job designing the kitchen. I thought we got a fairly good deal.

Once the Kitchen Remodeling job was agreed upon and signed...never heard from the salesman again...In fact the communication skills to the customer seldom happened.....They had the office girl make all the important decisions...Due to her work load it was hard for her to know who was coming and when...We made more contact with the construction crew then we should have been expected to... The owner of this company made a terrible measurement call on an island and would not back up his mistake...There for we where stuck with a rather large cabinet we can not use...His thoughts where i am sorry i can't use it and can't help you.....After he saw and measured the island size we where looking for....(make sure if he is the one measureing that you have every size that is measured signed by him o who ever is doing that job...Big mistake on there part... One installed cabinet looked to be put in wrong...It took us several e-mails to the girl in the office to get him to come out an fix the problem...I felt that we where such a small job of his that there was no need to rush on his part and no need to communicate one on one until he was forced too...The lack of response and communication was never ending....It was very unprofesional as an owner of a company... The installer was very good and did his job in a timely manor...The tile installer was excellant also...no real problems with either one of them..They did their job and wanted to make the whole experience a good one...which they did.. If it wasn't for the mistake of the owner and his measurement this might have been done sooner then 8 weeks for such a small job....You would think that doing his job as long as he said that he would know how to measure and would be able to complete the job to customer satisfaction We really feel if it wasn't for his Installer and tile guy this Company wouldn't have a chance for success..In fact if they ever leave they will have nothing... Losing $500.00 because of the mistake of the owner is hard to digest....We will never hire them again and will not reccommend them to anyone with out the warnings we have mentioned above... I would hire their contractors they where very attentive... We are pleased with the outcome but very dissapointed in the way it was all handled..The biggest part the $500.00 we did not expect to pay...This owner would not admit to his mistake...And now we are left trying to sale a brand new La Fata Cabinet for half the price (BUYER BEWARE) I think people should go with someone that is a bigger company with more back bone incase there are problems like are's and will work with the customer not against them... By the way we heard from the salesman when they had him call about a $100.00 difference on the bill..The 2nd time in about 8 weeks...And he really had nothing to say either..And i thought he would be more involved and caring about the job he sold us.. I guess once you sign who cares....Buyer Beware!!!!! Very dissapointed and out $500.00

The company's response time and willingness to provide a reasonable cost estimate was appreciated. However, when discussing the estimate with the company, they failed to disclose key items missing from the scope of work, which no longer made the quote reasonable, as these items were either 1) required 2) would need to be done later for a cost . For example, I was informed that a city electrical permit was not required and was advised to move forward without it. This was was not correct advice (as validated by other contractors and the city inspector whom we called), and potentially dangerous (if the person performing the work is not aware of the code / regulations, I am not confident in the quality of their work, and would probably not sleep at night, considering it's electrical.... ) There 2 more minor items missing - they were not as significant, but again, as mentioned above, would need to be done, and would therefore increase the overall project cost. When I requested line item detail for the estimate (to identify other potentially missing items) I was informed they did not discuss it, as it raised too many questions at a detailed level, and the customer should only be concerned about the bottom line. As a paying customer, I do need to understand the contract I am signing and the work it covers. At the end of the day, it was clear I could not commit to a long-term contract with Creative. If the estimate/contract process had raised this many concerns, it was safer to move on.

Most of the contractors were very punctual, did great work and were a pleasure to work with. the only problem we had was with the tile guy. He was hit or miss as far as showing up and though most of his work had a major "WOW" factor, it was diminished by his mistakes and lack of boundaries. He even tried to squeeze me for extra cash on the side...not good. Overall it was a GREAT experience and we love our new interior.

Everything went pretty well. The new bathroom is modern and sleek. There were a couple small items that needed attention. They took care of them promptly.

It went very well. The installer/carpenters did a thorough job and were very helpful. The lady that works in the office is wonderful and followed up on any of our concerns. Our kitchen had some wiring problems and they sent over an excellent, knowledgeable electrician.

Actually, it went very well. We were expecting a nightmare for a couple of months, but our sales associate, Dave, was very helpful as this was our first major remodel. He went over the whole process with us, helped guide us through the selection process and was available whenever we had a question. Once everything we picked out was in their possession (about 7 weeks), Creative contacted us to schedule the work. Lorrie was terrific to work with on the scheduling. If she said they'd be here, they were here! Scott and Mike showed up on the first day, on time and ready to go. The Kitchen was demolished in one day and work continued at a good pace from there. Both Scott and Mike were polite and professional at all times and cleaned up everything as much as they could at the end of each day. We had the same experience with the granite guys and Mike, the tiler, who did a wonderful job of placing the decorative tiles within the backsplash and encircling all of the outlets and light switches. Like Scott and Mike, he was very pleasant and professional person to work with. It took 4 weeks to finish the work, which was great because other contractors told us 6-8 weeks. We are very pleased with Creative and will definitely consider them again, when it's time to do our main bathroom. In summation, we were extremely please with Creative and their staff.

Could not ask for better service, quality, or price. They are the best, very good attention to detail and did everything to make sure I was happy! All the staff-their whole company- is great.

IN 40 YEARS OF DEALING WITH CONTRACTORS HE IS THE WORSE BY FAR. MY KITCHEN CABINETS ARE PEALING. DOORS ARE PEALING, MOLDING DO NOT FIT OR MATCH. THE CORIAN BACK SPLASHES ARE LOOSE. I HAVE BLACK MOLD DUE TO THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT USE KITCHEN AND BATH SEALANT. I HAVE HAD A PROFESSIONAL INSPECTION DONE AND WAS TOLD THIS IS A VERY BAD JOB. The writer visited the above residence on 1-17-12, met with the homeowner, reviewed misc. related documents and observed the specified work. The following is applicable. The existing kitchen cabinets were re-surfaced with a plastic laminate on the exterior of the cabinet boxes, appeared to have new drawers and also a new plastic clad "wood grain" doors throughout. In addition, there appears to be a new upgrade Corian countertop along with a new sink, faucet and disposal. There were several shortcomings observed. A. There appeared to be a negative impact to the plastic finish on the upper wall cabinet doors over the range (appeared impacted from heat by the range). B. The Corian backsplash appears to need re-caulking with an appropriate product to minimize mildew/mold build-up in the joints and provide a proper seal where the backsplash meets the wall, top, etc. C. The white backsplash material behind the range is coming loose from the wall. D. Some of the laminate material on the existing cabinet boxes was coming loose in areas (see wall cabinet left of sink, etc.). E. Numerous cabinet doors and drawers need adjustment (doors are sagging and/or loose, do not align properly, stick, do not close, hinges make conspicuous noise, etc.). F. The pantry door does not fit the opening, but overlaps the opening in the wall with a substantial overhang of the new door over the existing opening and the door itself will not stay closed (see E above). G. Some of the end shelving that was added to the existing wall cabinets is secured to the previous end cabinet with screws that completely penetrate the old cabinet side and provide a sharp and hazardous penetration into the cabinet storage area. H. Some of the trim joints do not fit flush, are loose and ill fit. Overall, the finish carpentry work observed appears to be semi-professional and below industry standards. It is the writers opinion that there is probably a specific clearance requirement from a heat source that is specified by the plastic manufacturers specifications and this clearance is being violated by the current installation of the cabinet doors above the range. If that is the case, then to properly correct that specific problem, the entire wall cabinet over the range needs to be re-designed and replaced with proper clearance. As requested, the approximate cost to repair the above are: A. Install new cabinet over the range with proper clearance & heat resistance $ 588 B. Clean out caulking joints & replace with appropriate adhesive/sealant $ 103 C. Remove & re-secure laminate behind range (repair wall & replace laminate if necessary) $ 187 D. Re-seal loose cabinet laminate where necessary $ 178 E. Re-adjust doors & drawers & replace malfunctioning hardware where necessary $ 386 F. Replace pantry door assembly to properly fit existing opening $ 346 G. Re-secure end shelving with appropriate fasteners $ 81 H. Their price was reasonable and they did a very nice job. They showed up on time and they were neat and clean. They were very professional and I am pleased with their work.

He did very good job and is very reasonable. His guarantee is good as well. When there was one small problem, they came back and fixed it immediately. I have even recommended him to my daughter and she has hired him for two different condos. I highly recommend his services to others.
