They were pretty good. They were efficient. I had a moldy smell and now it is gone. They were professional and reasonable priced. Gave me options as well.

It was good. The workers were great. They communicated well and followed up on everything. Really helpful and polite. Only complaint was that they left some debris after gounding down glue.

Professional, time line exact, great communication, produced proper paperwork for future use, made us thankful for choosing them.

BDS was so great to work with. I've had a lot of concerns about the asbestos pipe insulation in our basement, ever since we bought our house. James came out and was very knowledgeable, explained to me exactly what would happen in the remediation process, and answered all of my questions. The workers came out to my home on time, and were extremely courteous and professional. They sealed off the basement and did a thorough job removing the insulation. They ran air tests after their work, to confirm the asbestos was removed properly and there were no contaminants in the air. They went over their work with me, explaining everything they had done. The air tests came back safe - one of the two tests came back unreadable (not common), but still considered safe by the labratory. James insisted on coming out and taking another test, to confirm, for his records and my piece of mind, that the air was completely clear of asbestos. As expected the second test came back safe. I really appreciated their honesty, dedication to the job and commitment to seeing it through. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

We were happy with them, they were fine. In the beginning it was fine. What we had was a bunch tiles that we asked them to remove. We also had some ? we asked them to remove as well. They worked for a couple of days. The first day there were more people, they filled everything and they worked a lot. It was a major part and they did everything. The second day they came they did not remove everything and my husband had to talk to them. They got a machine and they cleaned the floor with it. What we were worried about was there was a lot of dust after they left. There were only a couple of guys the second day. At the end of the day they forgot to clean one of the rooms so there was a lot of dust. It got into the AC duct and then when the air turned on we were worried that it got into the air around the house. They also gave the air a test and it came back with really low numbers so after the tech came back we felt more comfortable. There were some worries about the air duct though. They should be checking on how the work is going. My husband had to tell them that we wanted it really clean. Also, they should look and make sure the air is clean and make sure that everything is covered well. We were happy with them, they were nice. We called several companies and they had a very reasonable price. They gave us a very good estimate.

They did a great job from start to finish. Very friendly on the phone and sent someone out to take a look at problem right away. Came out two days later to take care of job and did it quickly, efficiently and with multiple reassurances to this worrier. Sent air quality test results within 48 hours and all was well. Great job all around.

This company did a great job. The Sales Manager, Ron, came to our house and explained in detail what our options were. We chose removal of the vermiculite as opposed to containment. The proposal he submitted to us was detailed and very clear on exactly what was going to be done, according to OSHA standards. The bid was reasonable and we were able to apply the 5% Angie's List coupon to the cost reducing it to $2,850. The workers arrived on time, and explained everything they were going to do. They were very courteous, and worked very safely and efficiently. The job took a day and a half - a little shorter than we had anticipated. They removed all the vermiculite insulation and sprayed a post removal surface sealant in the immediate work area as well as the rest of the attic. They cleaned everything up, and were on their way. I would recommend this company to anyone needing this kind of service.

I called and talked with Ken. He gave me a time frame when a technician would come out and look at my floor. The man was here at the exact time. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He told us how we could take care of the situation. We were very pleased with their professionalism and knowledge. I would recommend them.

BDS responded very quickly to my initial telephone call. We arranged a visit for an estimate for abating the asbestos-impregnated insulation around the steam pipes in our basement. They provided an estimate on site and followed up with an emailed written estimate, which totaled $1500 for asbestos removal and abatement, and an optional second independent air quality test at an additional $400. They also provided an alternate estimate for repair and encapsulation at a much lower price. During their visit, their rep said that our insulation was in very good condition and that encapsulation would be a fine way to go, and explained the reasons. We opted to go for complete removal with independent air testing. The technicians came when scheduled, and were very thorough and clean. They performed their own air test, and the independent lab came to take air samples the same day. We received an invoice after the air test results came back. The technicians appeared to do their work exactly as the process had been explained to us. BDS took care of notifying the state about the work prior to the removal, and took the debris away in sealed plastic enclosures. Of the three companies I called, BDS was the only one to actually come out and look at the job; one asked for the approximate linear feet of insulation and emailed a quote. That quote included an independent air test and was approximately the same as the total cost with BDS. The third company did not respond at all. I was happy with the way BDS responded, the open way they explained the options, the thorough job they did, and the invoice process.

Todd and his crew showed up on time, worked their butts off all day and cleaned up when they were done. They were always friendly and professional, and the final result was excellent.

when they finally got here things went fine. Original set time was 9:00 we were asked to move to 1:00. Then to 2:30 and again running behind called each time,buttttttttttttt got here about 4:30 and finished around 6;00 that's a lot of time out of our day to wait on things to get done. Nice guys and cleaned up the work area well

BDS was extremely helpful and gave me information that would give me the most cost effective solution. We ended up not needing their services since our tile ended up being free of asbestos, but I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ken Lawler returned my email request for a quote and requested additional information and photos for the area of work to be done. After the information was emailed to Ken, he provided me with a detailed quote and included the business license and certificate of liability insurance for Building Decommission Services, LLC/BDS. The quote was the lowest out of 3 companies that I had contacted. The work crew arrived on time though the company name on the truck and their shirts was Global Green Service. When I asked the foreman about that, he said that they were all the same company. He was courteous and answered all my questions and they got right to work. When done, he asked me to look over the area and be sure that I was satisfied. They did a great job and a thorough clean up. The foreman also took photos of the completed job.

Ron came out to my house for an estimate a few weeks before the actual removal. He was prompt and great to talk to, and got me an estimate immediately. Once I decided to go ahead with the removal, he also answered the next hundred questions I emailed him! He always answered right away and was very pleasant, even though I'm sure I was annoying (thanks Ron!). Brian and another guy came out to do the removal, they went through everything they were going to do, answered some of my questions and then I left the house. I think it took them less than 5 hours to finish the procedure, Brian called me when they were done to let me know. On the 24th, BDS called back to say that my air quality tests came back great, and I met Brian at my house and he went over the air quality report with me, gave me the invoice and took out the negative air machine and all the plastic, and it was over! Everyone I talked to from BDS was exceptionally nice and helpful, and I am extremely happy with the way things went.

They were very flexible, very nice and very thorough. It was a great price. We called another company and they were literally going to nit pick us for every check. BDS has been doing it for so long that they could tell what it was and they were able to give us a good reasonable price.

This company is ridiculously overpriced. I was quoted $4,200 on a mold removal job in my attic. I called two other companies who wanted $1300 to $1600 for the same job.

Overall it was a great experience. The workers were professional and did quality work.

They quickly sealed off the kitchen area, then proceeded to install air quality equiptment. The floor was ripped out in a day and the asbestos testing was complete the next day.This company was prompt. Within my price range and had the certification that met the requirements of the job. The workers were friendly and asked questions about what I needed. They did a great job cleaning up and made sure I was satisfied before they left. Great Job.
