BB's Bricks

Purchased their $150 chimney sweep deal on Angie's List. Company emailed me to tell me it might be a week or so before they could get out and that was fine. I haven't heard back from them and had reached out to them via Angie's List twice. Would not recommend as they are horrible at communication.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! The mortar matched exactly to our existing mortar. New sills are perfect. Their cleanup was impeccable. I would recommend BB'S Bricks to anyone. If you want it done right the first time, call them.

Sam was awesome! He was able to accurately assess our two fireplaces for safety and maintenance. He was professional, and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. I was amazed at how beautiful the glass looked after. I didn't even know that was possible! He explained we needed chimney caps to prevent further condensation. He was reasonable and friendly. I also like how the repair to the stamp concrete turned out! After seeing your work ethic and the workmanship, I don't believe you'll stiff me for $225 waterproof cost; therefore, I'm going to trust your word that you'll return in a couple weeks (or when the mortar has cured) to complete the waterproofing. Just please let me know in advance when you plan to return." Due to covid-19, BB'S Brick crew was finally able to return for completion of the waterproofing. Brian was very professional and came out in a timely matter and took care of our problem. I thought his price was very reasonable too. I would definitely hire BB's Bricks again.

Took only 2 hours to finish the job, because there was one man on top of the roof, and one man working, cleaning below. Showed me how much soot was removed. Showed me the interior of the chimney afterwards, and it looked clean. Friendly men. Willing to explain. They kept the inside of our living room soot-free, and didn't mar the hardwood floor. They did not have a suggestion though as to why there was a lingering ash smell days after we used the fireplace, even after we (the homeowners) fully cleaned the ashes out after a fire (I'm talking about prior to their visit).

These guys were fantastic! They came out on a Saturday so we didn't have to take time off work. They were really friendly and professional. We had just moved and never had a fireplace before, so they explained how everything worked and what we needed to do to operate our fireplace safely.

In short, Brian and his crew worked a miracle. They saved me all the trouble of pulling permits with the city, rebuilt the porch ahead of schedule, and were able to save money by reusing limestone from another part of the project. I would not hesitate to hire them again should I need more brickwork done on my house!

Brian and his crew are the best. The top +/-16 rows of our brick chimney and our brick planter needed work . They removed all the rows down to the roof, disassembled the planter, cleaned the bricks and re-installed them then put on a new wash(cap)and flashing. The mortar matched almost perfectly and the new work is almost indistinguishable from the old. Even the building inspector liked his work. I'm a licensed contractor and I know good work when I see it and this was great work that will last a very long time. We were so happy that we gave them a sizable tip and we'd use him again. Brian and his crew are worth every cent we paid and we'll call him the next time we need work. I interviewed several contractors and some seemed like we could depend on them but I was sold when Brian came out and I talked to him. Polite, neat, professional, and informative - Dedication; that's what that is.

Really great experience. We got the quote almost one year ago and did not take immediate action given the size. We finally got around to getting another quote and, while cheaper, did not feel like a good fit. Still we delayed until we had some debris hit our fireplace insert back in February. Called BB Bricks up and they fit us in. They spent three solid days rebuilding the top third of our chimney in cold weather. While there was a lot going on, there was never a mess when they left for the day. By the time it was done, the chimney looked great and the cleanup was excellent. Brian is a straight shooter and I would recommend his company to anyone.

We were extremely pleased with the courteous service of Brian and his crew. The bricks on the front of our porch were flaking, and needed to be replaced. When they removed the bricks, they also found a problem with the foundation under the porch. They stayed late that day and returned the next day to finish the additional work. BB's bricks did a phenomonal job replacing the inner and outer wall of the deteriorating brick of my front porch. They worked very efficiently and were very courtious while doing the work. They also tuck pointed many areas theoughout the exterior of the home. I would highly reccomend BB's bricks to anyone looking for a high quality masonry.

It was quite a process, as the problem causing a leak was a very unusual one. Brian and his crew began by fixing what would have normally been an obvious cause of the issue however, we recontacted him when the leaking continued. He responded immediately and began a process to figure out the cause, doing much work on the chimney and STILL it leaked! A bit at a loss as to the cause of the problem, despite his experience, he began researching and networking with others in the field to try to solve the problem. He was clear in his explanations to us and thorough in his work - eventually finding the probable cause to be that the BRICKS themselves. He took steps to remedy that and we currently have NO LEAKING in our chimney. He was VERY fair in what he charged us for the additional work, especially considering how much personal time he invested in the process. I would highly recommend Brian!
