I kept hearing the well activate about every 30 minutes with a loud noise so I called Bob after a look on Angie's List. We set up a time and he came out himself. He quickly deduced it was a leak and it could only be coming from outside the house which left only the well itself. He didn't charge anything for the information gathering. We set up a new time for him to come out with his apprentice, Glenn. They came out and efficiently pulled the well out and found the source (corrosion at the threading). They replaced the parts and cleaned a VERY dirty system, whole thing took only about two hours. I would highly recommend them, cool guys to talk to and they know what they are doing.

Bob was able to come out on short notice and was accommodating to our schedule. He quickly diagnosed the cause of the decreased water pressure, and assured us that the well pump was working fine. He performed some wizardry on our water filtration system and pressure setting. The water pressure was completely restored. Well, actually it's better now than it was before. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. While our well pump is working fine now, when it eventually does fail, we'll call Wyckoff Well Drilling!

Friday afternoon we suddenly did not have water. I clued several places, but nobody could come over until Monday morning (no water for the entire weekend). Late Friday I called Robert Wyckoff, who then sent Glen Maglothin to check what was wrong. Glen explained the water pump needed to be replaced, other wise no water at all. The problem was that Glen was already schedule for the entire weekend, so the only option was to do it right away (it was after 6:00 PM already). Glen was very professional and worked very late on Friday evening until he finished the job. Thanks to Glen we had water Saturday and Sunday!

The issue ended up being build up in the shower heads (which were 10+ years old) and nothing we couldn't handle ourselves but Bob was great about it - didn't even charge us for a service call - and told us to let him know if we had any future problems.

We woke up at 5:00 a.m. to absolutely no water (which had been working fine the night before). After basic troubleshooting, we suspected a problem with the pump. We contacted two providers (both listed on Angie's List) one advertising 24 hour service. We got voice mail for one and the second took us to a website that was no longer available. We then contacted Wyckoff Well Drilling and even though it was 20 minutes before they opened, Bob, the owner, answered. I explained the situation and he said he could come out at 10:00 a.m. Bob actually arrived 30 minutes early (and called beforehand to make sure it was okay) and, after taking a thorough look at the system, strongly recommended that the pump be replaced. He spent considerable time explaining what we had, what went wrong and what he recommended that we do. His recommendation included getting rid of the computerized system we had and going with a more basic system that was easier for us to diagnose when there was a problem but produced the same results. We agreed to have the installation done. Bob picked up the parts, arranged for help (Glenn works with Bob doing the electrical and helping with the install) and they both came back (as agreed) at 1:00 the same day. They completed the install (which was extensive), sanitized the well and had everything completed within five hours. They also explained how the system worked and gave us a warranty for parts and labor. The well works great so far, and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely be using them again (although hopefully we won't need to...) and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for pump / well services.

I called the company after we noticed a leak from the rusted pressure pipe that connects to the well switch. Robert was able to get out to look at it within 2 hours. He was quickly able to replace the pipe but noted that the well pump was running continuously. He explained that this would indicate a problem with the pump itself. Since the pump was over 12 years old, we decided to have it replaced. He came out the next day with his truck and pulled the pump. It then became clear that we also had a problem with a low volume of water passing through the screen to the pump. This was the reason the pump was running continuously. It should be noted that the well is very old - over 40 yrs. and perhaps 60. The crew spent quite a bit of time sending compressed air into the well and was eventually able to clear the screen enough to increase the water flow to a normal level. If they had not been able to accomplish this, we would have been looking at a replacement well within just a few years. The pump is now working well and we have better water pressure than we have had in a long time. I felt that the company is reputable and knowledgeable. We received great service and I highly recommend them.

We woke up to having little to no water pressure in the house and the tank in the basement wasn't working. This quickly turned into having no water at all. We called Bob first thing in the morning and he was onsite very quickly. It turned out to be a quick fix and Bob was very professional, helpful, and reasonable regarding cost. If we are in need of service on our well in the future, we will definitely call Wyckoff. Highly recommended.

I sent Robert some pictures and he gave me a quote over the phone. He then came out and fixed the leak at the scheduled time for the quoted price. I had other plumbers state that they wouldn't even try and fix it. I had some that didn't even call me back. Thanks Robert for an excellent job done!

At that time it was determined our well was bad. We agreed to have a well drilled. Bob immediately parked his truck in my yard and said he would be back in two days to drill the well. We had no water . Over the next two weeks we were promised that the well would start the next day. At one point Bob stopped taking my calls altogether. After two weeks of no water I had to call another contractor to drill the well. The wychoff truck was still in my yard in front of my well. It took several more phone calls and Bob telling me on the phone that he doesn't work on Sunday. Before we got the truck out of our yard and the new contractor was able to drill the well.

Bob was great. He re-plumbed the pipes around the well tank. He checked the tank, pump switch, and rest of the plumbing to make sure everything was up to code and in working order. I was very satisfied, and I am glad I have found a reliable well plumber on which I can rely for any of my future needs.

When he came out he was so gracious and kind. He replaced a copper tube. He couldn't have even been here half an hour. He did great job. He did ask us, rather than coming out, to give us the name and model of the holding tank we have and to measure the diameter, and that's how he gave us his quote. We're definitely going ot use him again.

They have good quality service, and they work professionally. Their price is reasonable.
