I first called them believing I had a failed main panel. Only half my house had power, outlets right next to each one would work and one wouldn't, whole rooms were out, some rooms were mixed. I called Rader who told me over the phone it was going to be an outside DTE issue and to call them first for free. I made an appointment with Rader just in case but he was right and DTE fixed the problem (fuse at the pole and bad underground wire). I kept the appointment with Rader though - there were electrical outlets in the garage that had never worked. The tech was prompt, well thought out in troubleshooting found that the switch was spliced wrong which killed all the power to the outlets. He rewired it right and now I have power to those outlets.

Fist of all, these guys are the ONLY contractors that arrived on the day and time time they said they would! That was a surprise. Furthermore, the electricians were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They split up and worked in parallel wiched saved me time and money and the job got done faster than expected, especially since part of the job was to diagnose why two of my outside fixtures were not working. At the end of the job, it was determined that the outside fixtures would need new electrical runs due to to previous renovations and the age of the old runs. the dryer receptacle was found to be burned out, and the Sense unit was installed and the electricians stayed until I made a connection to the Sense unit with the associated app.

what they did was fine, but the long term solution seemed to be different from some other info gathered from DTE and another electrician

Rader Electric were prompt to respond, punctual and professional. They were very thorough and and worked efficiently. After running new wire, they completed clean up that left the house looking the same as when they started and even brought a vacuum for clean up. I had found an additional issue after they left that was related, but not their fault and they still returned the same day to correct it. They will be my electrician of choice going forward and I will recommend them to others as well.

They came and installed the fixture in half an hour. Pleasant and polite and reasonable.

wonderful. they investigated why the light switch/light wasn't working. Installed new switches and rewired the ceiling light that had become unwired.

Rader came out and fixed the problem immediately. It was a light bulb issue. One of the two Halogen lights was not properly installed and caused the light switch to fail. It was fixed immediately. In addition, they took the time to reinstall the fixture, which was pretty loose. While I felt a little silly, it would have taken me hours to figure out the problem (it had already taken several hours of my life). They are pros and did the job in less than an hour - the minimal charge.

Electricians were professional and thorough. Labor was as quoted no surprises. The only issue was the use of two Honeywell timers when I had two defiant switches available. Electricians chose to install their switches which I later found out were $54 each. The same switch is available at Home Depot for $29.99.

This was our first time using Rader Electric, and we could not be more pleased. The owner responded quickly to our original call, came over within a few days to do an estimate, and immediately inspired confidence with his quick grasp of the issues and efficient estimate. The work was completed within a week of the estimate. The installer was professional, reliable, and pleasant, and he did beautiful work. My disabled husband hates to hire out jobs that he used to do himself, so he can be hard to please. He trusts the work that was done today, and he has had nothing but positive comments about the whole experience with Rader. In addition, the clean-up was exceptional, and there was not even any damage to plants that obstructed the job outside the house.

Great. They showed up when they said they would, called before they came over to let me know they were on the way and the process was as painless as could be. I will likely hire them to completely rewire my garage when the time comes to do it.

I called in the morning and gave what I thought was a pretty extensive list of things we needed done, and they sent Chris out. He was right on time. We were extremely impressed by the quality of work and the speed in which it was completed. Also impressive was the fact that the owner and he felt we did not need to do some of the items on our list because they weren't necessary. How often do you hear that? We would absolutely use them again!

I contacted the company and was able to get a service person out to my home rather quickly. The service person called and let me know he was on his way. He took down the old lights and put up the new ones. He took extra care to make sure the lights were aligned with the brick. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The cost for the job was very reasonable and I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a job down right in a timeless professional manner.
