NEWMYER DISTINCTIVE REMODELING

Based on Google reviews and their work posted on their website I called and scheduled for someone to come out and give me an estimate. The estimator was here for almost an hour while I went over all of the projects I was looking to have done (kitchen, dining room, master bath, deck/patio, tuck pointing). She took measurements, drew a layout of my kitchen, and said she would get back to me the following week with an estimate. That was over two weeks ago and I have not heard back from them at all. I'm not going to chase them down. If a company is this unresponsive while trying to earn my business, they certainly won't be any better AFTER I give them the money! Next!

John Newmyer and his team were terrific. We had issues with the local Building Department that caused significant delay and cost increases due to permit fees and changes that went above and beyond code requirements. In all cases Newmyer adapted to the changes and delivered a beautiful kitchen. The workmanship was excellent and John is a perfectionist when it comes to detail. Frank Licari (designer) came out and reviewed our kitchen and created a design that delights us. We recommend this company without reservation.

From my first meeting with Jennifer, the owner's daughter, I knew I had picked the right company. Jen was very straight-forward about the difficulties of high-rise remodeling (extra time spend waiting for and riding elevators, hauling all debris and materials through the halls and out etc.) and the time expected for completion. My daughter is physically disabled and I wanted to remodel to make things in her condo as user friendly as possible. Jen was totally on board from the beginning and together we brainstormed ideas to consider. We ran into a few problems, like a pipe from the roof going through the middle of what was to be our bathroom, but everything was handled easily by Newmyer and no stress on me. Every time I had a question (usually emailed to Jen at night) it was answered within the hour. They are an amazing company with quality, friendly workmen,who kept the project going forward at all times. I would definitely recommend Newmyer to anyone !

They were efficient, qualified and professional. The actual installation was done in February and I was amazed how little it affected the temperature inside the house to do it. They picked up one window out at a time and put the new window in. So it didn't make that much difference to the heating loads of the house.

Took almost 3 weeks to contact us. Initial contact sept. I liked some of her ideas but she kept saying the holidays were coming! Next visit we talked cost. Gave her our ballpark price, she gave us hers. Never heard from her again. Really? Sorry, but if it took that long to talk with us twice how long would project take? I'm out!

They were excellent. They were so quick and easy to work with. They never caused a problem. They really just did an outstanding job.

The work is now in progress and going well. I'll submit a review when it's done.

The work was very well done, they are extremely responsive and very flexible. Even on some items that required change orders they provided very fair (even low) pricing. We will definitely use them again.

The company is excellent. They do the work as quoted and add some extras to make the job right. They are very clean and always leave the job site in excellent condition. They are prompt and very reliable.

They were very good, but very expensive. They were very clean throughout the entire construction and cleaned up every day before leaving.

They were not the cheapest, but they did a great job. They were unbelievably neat. We made some changes going along, and they were fine. They were competitive with pricing of windows, Marvin.

OVERALL DID A QUALITY JOB IN 2 PHASES THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE DUST FROM THE FLOOR JOB, NEED BETTER CONTROL FROM THE SUB-CONTRACTOR.
