Lots of no- or mis -information. No one communicates to the next person in line of fabrication. Front counter people are nice and attentive until they get your money. Measurements were wrong. I measured and told them what it should be and they made me sign a waiver that it was "customer measurements". When the top was delivered it was too big, it was cut to the original measurements. They had to cut the custom cabinet to "fit" the oversized top. The top is still too big. Edges are chipped. I was charged for items they never delivered.

Absolutely horrible experience. 1) We purchased 2 whole slabs in order to have matching countertops and ended up with NO matching countertops 2) they did not template ANY of the 4 bathrooms; they just measured (poorly). 3) one counter was cut and installed backwards. Since it didn't fit right, they jammed mismatched shims in and glued them with visible purple glue. Faucet holes were eyeballed, and were off. That piece had to be replaced, and since that slab was no longer available, a non-matching, lesser quality remnant had to be found 4) They BROKE the second slab, requiring another non-matching remnant be found (all of these had to work with already purchased floor tile), AND we lost one full quarter of the slab that would have been leftover and large enough for 60 x 40 table. 5) The master counter was also installed poorly and had to be corrected 6) most of the pieces had incorrectly cut side and back splashes. 7) Mesh edges were left visibly sticking up over the splashes, and nothing was sealed/caulked until we complained. 8) The undermount sinks are very low quality. When we complained about all the errors, we were told we would be getting some reimbursement, but never did. They avoided answering our calls and emails, and more than once I was told to come in and talk to a specific person, but had to wait upwards of an hour to do so, or that person was not available. I could go on, but you get the idea. The bottom line is that these people are incompetent, and bullies. They verbally threatened us and our contractor over the phone when we contested the charges. They have a terrible reputation locally (wish I had known), and should be avoided at all costs.

Pretty well after they sold the granite we had chosen and paid for to someone else. We were able to get virtually the same coloring as we had originally purchased.

Their internet site portrayed a vast in stock product selection but when we visited the shop we found many out of stock items that were priced higher than competing stores. The Tile Shop is a much more customer oriented corporation.

They were excellent and really good and that is why I picked them. The sales person helped me to choose the tile that I wanted and helped me with the price as well. They were motivated and called me back to make sure that I was happy. They did a really nice job.

. We were more than satisfied with them. There were few mistakes along the way but they corrected them or willing to correct them. There was one that the installers tried to hide a little bit. We discovered well after that so I called them and they willing to cut out the piece that was broken. They could not guarantee that it would match. So they offered an adjustment. The piece that was cracked was in a small area. So we just put an over sized cover on the light switch. When they first brought the granite it did not have the right edge on it so they took it back and redid it. We were inconvenienced for three or four days because of that. There were no hard arguments or anything about it. Overall they were good. It was Frank who came out and measured and all that. He is the Go To guy when there is a little bit of a problem and he was the one who was the most helpful. The sales lady was helpful. Frank was like the shop Foreman and was easy to work with. We removed the tops in the kitchen and they brought in the granite and installed it. What they don't do is somebody who wants the total job like removal and replacement. They just bring in the granite and install it. They don't do the corking or the painting or do any cabinets. In Florida we had another company to come out to do the whole thing. I don't know that was a lot more expensive but it was a less stress full not having to deal with two and three and four people for granite, This Company did only the granite at least for our job. They were here when they said they would be here. I did not think the installers were real professionals although I was not here. They knew that they broke the top and did not say anything. There was no discussion about when they going to get paid. My wife and I had discussed that they would not be paid until I came home and looked at the job. There was anything said about COD or how they are going to be paid for other than that we had put down a deposit. The installers were a kind of rude and upset that they were not getting paid on the completion of this job. But after I talked to the company they did not have any problem with that. I will consider using them in the future.

I think that the employees at this store are helpful. They have a wide variety of products to choose from. They could have given me a better estimate of how much tile that I would need. I went way over and had a lot extra.
