Excellent. Safety King provided a video that showed what to expect. The two technicians arrived during the time period provided, were friendly, professional, and did a great job. It was the first time it had been done, so there was a lot of dirt to be removed from the ducts. I will have it done by this company again in 3 - 5 years

The house we purchased had a strong smoky smell. Dominick W. assessed the ducts, covered the outflows, and began systematically cleaning our system. The before and after pictures of the interior ductwork showed a remarkable difference, and the smoky smell was noticeably decreased.

The company was very responsive. They scheduled us in at next available appointment and put us on a waiting list in case there was a cancellation. Luckily for us, there was a cancellation and Safety King provided great service sooner than later. Very professional, respectful, and quality service provided. Good signage on their truck. Very pleased with the service provided.

It turned out fine. They did a great job and were in and out.

They were very polite and professional; they asked for me a certificate that I had no idea about. They went ahead as did the service after they left and came back.

Engaged Safety King because they were the only duct cleaning company which not only could provide HVAC duct cleaning, but which also could provide a recordable video inspection of HVAC ducts. Pete G., the lead specialist, and Robert K., his assist, were very professional, courteous, and thorough. I wanted an complete HVAC duct cleaning, an evap coil cleaning, and a video inspection -- with a focus on the ductwork underneath my family room slab. They understood what I wanted and explain to me what they could and could not do. As requested, they spent much time on cleaning the slab ductwork. I appreciate Kathy S., the customer service rep, putting up with my demands for a detailed work proposal. All in all, Safety King surpassed my expectations.

The technicians were friendly and helpful, but overall it was a disappointing experience. The technicians claimed that they had to reattach my dryer vent, which runs up to the roof, before completing the cleaning. However, I later had another company out to install a new dryer vent, and its technician claimed that the vent didn't look like it had been cleaned at all. He also showed the vent to me, and I agree with his assessment.

I ordered the deal for $99 (the deal mentioned that anything more than an hour away would encounter a fee, but the fee wasn't listed). I checked the area and did a quick google map search to get the drive time from my city to the city of the shop (no address was specified). The time was 55 minutes so very close to one hour. I was contacted to schedule the service. When I spoke to the representative she told me that the drive time was 1 hour and 5 minutes and that I would have to pay an additional $100. So, they were essentially charging me $100 for 5 minutes of drive time and made the deal $299. So, I canceled and a friend volunteered to do the service for me. I'll never use this company nor recommend it to others due to the high travel costs.

This company was very prompt in calling me to schedule. Prior to their arrival, they sent me an email with pictures and names of the people that would be coming to my house -- which was great so that I could feel comfortable with them coming and know that they were the right people. I have *never* had another company do that. It's a great idea and every company should do it. There was confusion about the price for this service which was an "Angie's List Deal". The way the deal information was presented on the website did not communicate that there would be an upcharge for services done at locations outside of their standard service area. However, recognizing that this really wasn't my fault, the company waived the extra fee. I was very, very happy and impressed by that. The service guys were friendly, quick and efficient. They showed me pictures of what the vent looked like before they cleaned it out, and that was very helpful so that I knew the service was actually needed. They did not try to sell me on other services, but did clearly answer my questions when I asked what other services they provided. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I would recommend this company to others.

We got a deal on Angie's List for the dryer vent cleaning - it was $99 and we had to pay an extra $50 because we have a 2nd story laundry room. Everything was fine - good communication.

Lots of problems with dryer vent since it goes through a crawl space that is virtually inaccessible. Vent had separated. Team worked hard to get at detached area, and patch so that dryer would vent outside, not in the crawl space area. Got things patched pretty well. They encouraged me to have dryer re-vented, but worked to make sure it was safe for operation in the meantime.

Great experience all around! I had another company had to wait for three weeks for a duct cleaning date. When they did arrive they told me they couldn't do the job as because parking for the truck was too far away from my condo . I called Safety King and was able to schedule a appointment for the NEXT DAY ( thanks Cathy and Cindy)! The crew arrived, and they too said they couldn't do the job that day because of the parking and distance, but they could do the job, just needed another truck. Within about a hour after that I received a call from Cathy to schedule the duct cleaning for first thing the next day. The crew, Bill T and Steve P arrived first thing in the morning with 2 trucks (no additional cost), and were in and out within a few hours. Very polite and professional organization, very neat crew, blankets on the ground footies over their shoes, When they left, the place was spotless. Details: This was my first experience with duct cleaning and had been told different things about the value of duct cleaning. The crew took before and after pictures. Before I could have grown plants in my ducts, after they finished the ducts look like new, same applies to the furnace. More importantly, my family suffers from allergies, and after the cleaning, the random in house runny noses, sneezing episodes and nasal congestion have all but stopped. My opinion; worth every penny of the cost of the cleaning.

Michael, Vern, and Patrick were our techs for the day. Also, Chris Neven the salesperson (Contractor Ambassador) came to see if his guys were ok and if they need and help. Chris did help his guys for a while and then he left and came back later in the day. Vern sealed all the vents. Michael and Patrick were downstairs prepping for the job. It took a couple of hour do seal up everything. When the job was done they cleaned up and showed us the reports. The reports show how much heat we were losing vs. after the aerseal was done.

Marius and Kevin explain everything that they were going to do. They took pictures before and after the vent were done and they show us. I could not believe the pictures and they asked us if we would like a copy of the pictures and we said yes, so they email us a copy. I asked about my furnace filter and they said they would check it and said I needed a new one. I went out and bought a new one. They were still here and they said they would put in for me. I thought that was very nice of them to do. They went beyond their duties with putting the filter in. When they were all done they explained what they did and other services they do with out pushing them on us. I would use Safety King again.

Cleaning my home's duct work was low on my home repair to-do list until the present unusually harsh winter. The abnormal and persistent cold caused my furnace to run harder and as a result, the air quality in the house was getting worse and worse. My "good for 90 days" furnace filters were getting caked after only 3 weeks of use and my eyes and throat felt dry despite having the humidifier cranked up. So I decided it was time to look into giving the system a good clean out. After all, it had not been done since the house was built 19 years ago and who knows how much cat fur and litter dust might be in there! After doing some research I found Safety King and boy am I glad I did. Everything about them said "professionalism" from first contact through completion of the job. Everyone from customer service to the technicians who completed the job was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I was especially impressed by how Scott and Marcus cleaned up after the job. They even swept and mopped the kitchen floor before they left! Thanks Safety King for a job well done! You will definitely get my business again!

All went smoothly and Peter from Safety King was very professional and courteous. The company emailed a picture of the 2 people I dealt with which was comforting and so I would know who was coming to my house. I think the house is less dusty after the cleaning and hopefully will be easier for allergy sufferers when at my home. I used the $50 coupon from Angie's List but didn't check prices so not sure if this was a typical price or not.

They were professional from the very first phone call. The technicians Dave & Bill were very prompt and when they arrived they explained everything that they would be doing. We were extremely happy with the work that was performed. Our house is much more dust free now. I would highly recommend Safety King. It was well worth the money!

Technicians Stephen and Kevin were absolutely wonderful. I contracted Safety King to clean the vents in my son's apartment. They were filthy. Stephen advised having the heat exchanger cleaned by a furnace company after they were finished. Good thing. The heat exchanger had a seven inch crack that was causing the vent problem to begin with. The apartment complex promptly replaced my son's furnace as a result. This situation could have had dire consequences. The service provided by Safety King was professional and well timed. I have used them at my private residence with equally good results in the past year.

Everyone I talked to at Safety King was very helpful. The cleaning was performed as scheduled and went well. Afterward I was sent photos of the insides of my ducts, before and after, which was interesting. Funny thing is that after it was over I realized how many holes I have in the ductwork in the basement because I had dirt and dust everywhere down there! That had nothing to do with SK, just my house. Something to think about if you have an old house... All in all, I was quite satisfied with the process and Safety King.

What really impressed me was that they sent me an email showing me photos of the crew that would be coming to my home. It also told a little a about each one. That was wonderful - I had no qualms about opening my door to people I could then recognize. The work was done very professionally. Both Matt and steve were easy to be with, and experienced. They both took time to explain everything they were doing. One thing to note is that this company seals every vent in your home before starting which greatly improves the strength of their vacuum.many companies will not take the time to do this. Kerry at the office was very informative and quite pleasant. All in all an A company!
