It went great from appointment setup to project completion. We purchased a new home and had hardwood floors installed throughout. We anticipated loads of dust in the ducts. The two men arrived on time and took great care to protect our new floors. They were very personable. They showed me the results on the computer. I had expected there to be dirt but it was great to know that the ducts were now clean. I would hire them again and would recommend them to a friend.

They were friendly, professional, and courteous. It is an older home and we had a number of people working there that they had to work around and they did it without issue. From the sound of it they cleaned about 100 dozen marbles from our old ducts. In 5 or so years when I need this again, they'll be my first call.

To anyone who is thinking of having your ductwork cleaned, be aware of this: Unless the cleaning company SEALS ALL THE VENTS in your house, and then opens them up one at a time to clean them while their vacuum is running, and then reseals it again before moving on to the next vent, the job is not done right, and you are just throwing your money away. Most of the companies out there will not seal the vents. They will try to tell you that it isn't necessary, assuring you that their truck vacuum is very powerful. THAT IS COMPLETE BS. It's like someone running a vacuum cleaner six inches above your carpet and telling you that he doesn't actually need to put it on the floor because it's a powerful machine. Nonsense. The real reason they don't seal the vents is because it requires more work, and an actual understanding of the venturi effect. I tell you this because I'm a retired engineer and I just can't stand this blatant rip off of customers, who think they're getting clean vents when in fact no such thing is happening. Anyway, having said all this, I found a firm that understands this, and even advertises it as part of their process. The firm is Safety King. To give you an idea of the quality work they do, let me end this by describing my experience with another company - Sears. A few days earlier, I had contracted with Sears to do the duct cleaning. They assured me by phone (twice) that they seal the vents. Well, when they came out, there was only one service technician, who told me the cost was $469 and that he would have the job done in an hour and a half. Furthermore, if I wanted the furnace blower motor and AC coil cleaned at the same time, that would be another $100. I declined. When he connected in to the main trunk lines in the basement and started his vacuum, I asked why he hadn't sealed the vents? He told me that it wasn't necessary, as his truck vacuum is very powerful. I told him I wanted the vents sealed and he said he didn't have anything in his truck to seal them with. I told him to stop the work and pack his stuff up. I then called Safety King. They came out the next day, sending a large truck with two servicemen. While one of them sealed all the vents, while the other one hooked up the vacuum lines near the furnace. They then spent 4 hours cleaning every one of my 30 vents carefully and professionally. The cost? $497. And that included cleaning the furnace blower motor and the AC coil. I think this description illustrates the difference between high-quality conscientious work, and a sloppy rip off. I highly recommend Safety King and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Peter was on time. Did a walk through. Explained what he was to do, set up equipment, completed the job, put equipment away and cleaned up site. Peter did a very thourough job. He showed before and after pictures. Highly recommend.

These guys were the best, very polite and professional. I love the before and after pictures while they were performing the service. They showed a picture of a wooden block in our ducts (possibly from original construction of the home) and after a little while of starting up the machine we heard the block clunking through the big hose under the heavy suction power. The patches/plugs they put over the access points were very clean and professional looking. I felt extremely satisfied and comfortable with cleaning that was performed. I feel like I picked the right company.

I believe another company would have clean my ducts- I was thankful this company was honest.

On the day before the appointment the secretary at Safety King called me to confirm my morning appointment. Two workers, Chris and Jeff arrived at 10:00 am the next day at the agreed upon time. Upon arrival, Chris and Jeff greeted me and shook my hand. After inspecting the back of my dryer, Chris explained everything that they would do to clean the dryer. When I asked his opinion of why the dryer had a smell, he inspected the inside of the dryer again and we came to the decision that it was the result of my drying rugs that had rubber backings. The dryer was not damaged as a result of drying the rugs. With the use of suction, they sucked out all of the debris in the pipe located in the basement. When Chris noted that one of my furnace vents had not been properly sealed by another company he offered to seal it and he properly sealed it. The entire job took 40 minutes. Chris and Jeff were extremely friendly. They gave me tips on how to keep the dryer working properly. I have used Safety King several times before and their personnel and service just keeps getting better and better. I will use them again.

We have used Safety King before to clean our ducts. The two-man team kept us informed as to what they were doing or would be doing during the time they were here. They protect your stairs with a cover and work quickly and efficiently to get the job completed as the house door is open the entire time and it was still cold out. Photos were taken and shown to us and also emailed to us a few days after the job completion. The men were professional, courteous and arrived at the set appointment time. We had cleared away any obstacles that would be in their way. The job was completed in a timely manner.

Pete and Mitchell arrived right on time and were as professional as could be. They were very careful with everything in my home and did a great job. I had never had my dryer vent or my air ducts cleaned before so I did not know what to expect, but they explained everything. They didn't try to shortcut anything and took their time. They were as friendly as could be and just did a wonderful job and totally cleaned up everything. I will definitely use them again. Great job and thank you!

Two service people cleaned our furnace vents. They arrived on time, did an excellent job. They laid protection over our carpet, wood floor and any surface where the hose might rub on paint. They explained exactly what they were going to do. They alerted us to another potential problem and repaired it. I was extremely satisfied with this company.
