 + 2 moreMike, the landscape architect/salesman, was at the site on both days of the project. He supervised and did the work himself, and was on hand for my questions and concerns (which I had none). A friend has used another landscape company and she complained of those workers' vocal noise, lack of professionalism and much too frequent breaks. Rainbow's workers were proficient, skilled and nice (especially to my 3-year old, who was in awe of the machinery they used). I couldn't be more pleased with their work! I would use them again, and would happily recommend them to family and friends.
Description of Work: Rainbow Landscape removed the existing disaster which was our front lawn. They installed a completely new landscape with low maintenance shrubs, a tree, flowering plants and mulch. New sod was planted in a small area too. They also installed a new paver walkway leading to our front door. The whole project was completed in the estimated time frame, and the work was beautifully executed. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors. Our family could not be happier! Their quote is the cheaper one compared to another company. I also attempted to get a quote from Sitescape, but I never heard back from them (I don't know how that company gets an "A" rating if they don't even have the professional courtesy for a callback.) I know I called during the peak season, but at least Rainbow returned my inquiry.

 + -1 moreIt was okay. They did an okay job. I was not overly thrilled, but it was jusk fine. They were also a little pricey
Description of Work: They put down some mulch. I have some large flower beds and they realigned patio brickedging and put in about 10 or 12 shrubbs, ranging from little shrubbs to evergreens.

 + -1 moreProvided the quote with a photo type picture of our house showing how the landscaping we requested would look. Willing to work with us on adding and removing services and product. Timely service of the highest quality. Would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Basic job involved an area 8' x 25' on the side of our house - Our intent was to provide visual cover for a whole house generator and air conditioner. In the end we elected to have 8 3 ft Hix yews and 3 smaller yews along with ground cover and edging.

 + 0 moreI met with Mike Rambo twice to develop a plan for my yard's landscaping. I told them I wanted "English Cottage Garden" style landscaping, with lots of flowers, perennials, etc. The design wasn't at all that style, so he said he would redo it. In the intervening weeks I proceeded to dig up sod and do some work on the yard, as I said up front that I was a gardener and wanted to do some of the work myself to keep costs down (plant perennials, etc.). When we met again, Mike said he didn't want to work with me because I was going to do some of the work myself. I find it amazing that landscapers will not work with you if you do any of the work yourself.
Description of Work: This would have been about a $20,000 job with a water garden, pavers, stone walls, planting of 20+ trees and 20+ shrubs, and he turned it down. Must be nice to be so in demand that you can turn down work of that volume.

 + -1 moreI WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MORE THAN ONE PERSON. THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO ON TIME AND AT THE PRICE THAT WAS QUOTED.
