 + -1 moreGary was very rude when I inquired about the cost of a job. I was told the pump was defective and would be repaired at no cost. Gary then called and said I would actually need a new pump at 592.00. He installed it for a total of 1077.00 and yet the installation took under 10 minutes. Three months later after a heavy rain, the basement flooded, and the pump never came on. I called the office several times leaving messages but they were never retuned. I had to hire another plumbing company.

 + -1 moreGary Powierski was very helpful and knowledgable about plumbing. He was honest, and provided information about what caused the problem. While he was unsuccessful in unblocking the sewer pipe because of ice and ground conditions, he gave me several options of things to try in the meantime. Since he couldn't totally fix the problem, he didn't charge me the full price, which I thought was very upstanding. I will definitely use Powierski Plumbing again in the near future.
Description of Work: Determined cause of sink drain problem and leaking pipe, and brought in heavy-duty rotor to clean out blocked sewer pipe. Made recommendations on how to avoid problems in the future.

Description of Work: POWIERSKI PLUMBING & HEATING INSTALLED ALL MY SINKS, TOILETS, FAUCETS, THEIR WORK IS EXCELLENT! THEY ALSO REPAIRED A GAS LEAK, AS SOON AS THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE THEY RUSHED DOWNSTAIRS AND FIXED IT! POWIERSKI PLUMBING & HEATING ARE HONEST and DID THE JOB CORRECT THE FIRST TIME. I WILL NOT USE ANY OTHER COMPANY FOR ALL MY PLUMBING, HEATING & COOLING. I REALLY LIKE MY NEW HOT WATER HEATER, I CAN WASH CLOTHES, RUN THE DISHWASHER AND STILL HAVE HOT WATER. This time, we left a message with them that night, they called early the next morning and we were their second stop, as promised. They gave us a choice of fixing the faucet for less money or replacing it. We opted to replace, and he happened to have one on the truck.
Description of Work: Put in a new kitchen faucet; stopped a leak under the kitchen sink.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY NICE TO ME WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO REPAIR MY FURNACE. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND GOT HERE RATHER QUICKLY TO FIX IT. WHEN THEY FIXED MY FURNACE THEY GOT IT UP AND RUNNING IN NO TIME.
