Description of Work: Standby Generator

Description of Work: I used this company for yearly maintenance on my Kohler generator. Every week the generator runs for 20 minutes to test the system. That is normal, however, my generator did its’ weekly test at 8:30 in the morning. I asked the technician if he would change the time. I was told it can't be done. That didn't make sense to me, so he then said that it could only be changed at the time I wanted it to run. I told him that it was now 11:00 AM on Friday so that would be fine. He went into the basement and changed the time, which took him only a few minutes. Next Friday the generator ran its test at 8:30 AM and again at 11:00 AM. It's now running twice. I called ECS and they were rude and condescending. I was told that they don't know why it is running twice. I was told that I will have to call Kohler myself to see if Kohler can tell me what is wrong. I was also reminded that I didn't buy the generator through ECS as if that makes a difference. ECS is a certified dealer through Kohler. They also said if they come out again I will have to pay for the service because the problem wasn't due to anything they did. I called Kohler headquarters and Kohler sent a technician to the house. It turned out that ECS did not cancel the 8:30 AM run time. Apparently, there are two places where you can set the time. One place is on the generator and the other place is on the panel in the basement. ECS set the time on the basement panel so it would run at 11:00 and never deleted the 8:30 time that was set on the generator, which is why it ran twice. Since ECS is certified with Kohler, I would think that they should have known how to appropriately set the time instead of telling me that it was nothing they did wrong. I understand that mistakes happen but it was the condescending attitude, their denial that they could have caused the problem, and making me contact Kohler is why I will never use them again.

Description of Work: Changed clothes dryer outlet from 50 amp to 30, replaced other old standard outlets.

Description of Work: Installed new Gfc and porch light. Repaired kitchen under counter light.

Description of Work: Have used Chaz and his crew numerous times with multiple referrals to him. Won't use anyone else for our electrical needs

Description of Work: ECS installed a plug in the garage for a door opener and another in the basement.

Description of Work: We used ECS Electric Inc to move a generator for us so that we could put some concrete tab and then they put it back. So they had to disconnect the generator to take it out, and put it back; then they did some maintenance on the generator.

Description of Work: Rewired entire commercial property, added phone jacks, also hardwired exit lights.
