Things went really, really poorly. The only way it could have been worse would be if he hadn't come back to finish, and had stiffed us for more money. He absolutely was never on time or met a deadline. He never called to schedule or cancel. This was a very small job that should have taken only a day or so, instead it took him nearly 2 months to finish, and that was only after us calling and calling to get him to come back and finish the job we had already paid in full for him to do. He stripped the lawn and put sod in the front and seed in the back, with decorative rocks along the side of the yard. His workers just dumped the rocks, and it was nearly twice what they needed. They seeded the back yard, but never put straw down or came back to over seed like he was supposed to. They didnt use the right topsoil, so it came in very poorly and was filled with weeds. He was also advertising a 10% senior discount in ValPak, but he did not honor this discount for my mother. He was very poor in his business practice from the contract all the way down. I would not reccommend this contractor.
