The technician was very thorough and did a great job of addressing my concerns and making recommendations.

+ -1 moreThey do an excellent job. I had them out because I saw a mouse in my home (I don't do well with rodents). The technician when around the entire premises of my home and pointed out potential entry points. I sealed them up. I was grateful he did that because I had another well known company coming to my house for the same services for years and they never did this! I have Rose Pest Control back every quarter just for my piece of mind. They'll address all pest control concerns. Our family room is on a slab and there were ants in there. The technician explained the type ant, why it was there and but down bait. He explained they come out to take the poisonous bait back to their colony. It worked exactly as he explained and within a couple of days they were all gone. I'm very content with their services.

+ 0 moreEverything was fine except that they changed the quoted price as well as the contract after the first price and contract was given to me by one of their representatives and I thought that was unprofessional on their part—if they quote a price and give me a written document explaining the cost and period of time for their services, they should stick to it!

Rose Pest was the company that I called. The office was very responsive and was able to set up an appt. within 3 days. Jeff came out and gave my home a thorough inspection. I was surprised at the technology that he used to assure me that there were no problems after all. They are a very professional company and I would call them again in the future.

+ -1 moreGreat! There's something so encouraging about a company that doesn't charge a fee just to merely show-up. So right there we were off to a good start. Then the tech, Tony, actually told us it wouldn't be economical for them to take care of the issue and gave some recommendations on how we could DIY a solution. The fact that Rose actually seems to consider a customer's needs rather than easily swindling them instills a tremendous amount of confidence. I already plan to schedule them for work in the spring.
Description of Work: We had some little critters (chipmunks) take up residence in the wall of our garage and needed them to move out.

+ -1 moreThe service eliminated most of our bug problem. I think we need to remove some of the female box elder trees, at least those in close proximity to the house. We saw almost no bugs for 2 months until the first week in October, when it was unseasonably warm, and they were back in great numbers all over the brick, the roof and the lawn. We then sprayed with Ortho to prevent them from nesting over the winter. In all fairness to Rose, the product they used is supposed to last for 2-3 months, but the dead insects have pheramones which attracted more box elder bugs. We will have them back in the Spring.
Description of Work: We have many box elder trees in our yard and consequently had many box elder beetles/bugs. They were even inside the house! Rose sprayed extensively outside and, although the bugs returned 2 months later, none got inside.

+ -1 morePrompt scheduling. Came when they said they would. Tom (I think that was his name) inspected there issue then spent time to educate me. Said my problem was temporary and would go away on its own, and it did exactly that. Didn't charge me and didn't push any unnecessary services on me. Very professional. Even gave me some advice on an unrelated issue. Will call them again should another issue arise.

Description of Work: Beehive removal. Rose said they would send someone out and made an appointment. A few days later, a person from Rose left a message on our phone to say that contrary to what we had learned when making our appointment, that bees weren't active in April and that while they would still keep the appointment, there might not be anything they could do. My wife waited at home for four hours, but no one came. She called Rose and they said that because bees weren't active, there was nothing they could do, so they didn't come. I assure you, these bees were absolutely active, swarming our back yard. I think it is inappropriate, even for the insect experts, to make that claim before seeing our backyard. Also, we made an appointment and waited. Our time was wasted. I got the work done via another route. No more bees.
