Professional and promt service cleaned all carpets in home let us know about a service to help prevent stains as well as other services they have to offer such as sofa cleaning, vent cleaning and vehicle carpet cleaning.

Cost seemed reasonable, I've had this done several other times by other companies and they all charge about the same. There were additional coupon offers on their website. Technicians showed up on time and seemed professional and knowledgeable. There were, however, a couple of things I was NOT happy about. There is a large rug in the front hall that matches the carpeting and they did not suggest cleaning it, instead it was rolled up an left in the kitchen - consequently when I put it back myself after the carpeting dried, the rug looks filthy in comparison to the carpeting. I didn't ask to have it cleaned, I think Modernistic should have asked if I wanted to add it on to my order. I asked for a hall closet that is fully carpeted to be cleaned, it was only after they left that I discovered it was not done. And worst of all, there was a very noticeable mark left right in the middle of the main room in the house...almost like the hoses dragged across it and left a mark behind. I am going to have to reclean this myself. I did get a follow up phone call a few days later and did NOT respond, I am pretty sure if I'd complained they would have offered to come back and fix the issues.

Pretty basic carpet cleaning. Said they weren't able to get all the spots and carpet began to look dirty again as soon as it dried.

They did a great job. Office staff is very professional and responsive, the cleaning technicians called ahead of time as advertised, and came within the timeframe specified. They were careful with our belongings and did a thorough job with our carpets. The price was very reasonable given the area we had done.

Got my first contact at 8 am telling me they would be here in the afternoon. (my request). Matt & Paul called to tell my wife when they would be here, they were prompt! Both men were very professional! They made some suggestions and up sold us to the scotch guard and the additional rugs. No pressure at all!!!!! We have written their names down with our modernistic card and hope to request them in the future!!

It went well. The techs were on time, and professional.

It turned out fine. My wife primarily dealt with them and indicated they did everything including showing her before and after video and she was very happy with the work.

My pet had become severely ill and had destroyed ALL of the carpet in the lower level of our home, about 800 sq. ft. of carpet. The men from Modernistic came on time and cleaning up the (huge) mess. They were at our place for about 4 hours and when they left, the carpet looked like new. It was amazing, especially considering what poor shape the carpet was in. I would use them again, they were great!

Very professional company. They were very thorough with the job. I was shown how dirty the inside of duct work was with a camera before starting work and shown how clean it was after they were finished. They put down cloth and wore bags over shoes so nothing was tracked inside.

Went very well overall. The work took about 90 minutes and they went around the house and blasted out all of my air ducts while they had the biggest vacuum hose I've ever seen attached to my furnace!

The carpets didn't look clean after they left, we were told that it was just because the carpets were old and had stains. Had carpets recleaned 5 days later because moving company dragged dirt thru the house and the second carpet cleaners actually looked like the carpets were cleaned. 4/5/2015 update: We brought a BISSELL Spotbot Pet and the spots we were told would never come out because of the previous owners leaving furniture in the same spot for years. I used the spotbot and it go it up no problem, I didn't have to even scrub it. And it gets better...We received a call from the customer service department regarding us not being 100% satisfied. I tried calling the man back and left him 2 message but he was only in the office from 9am-11am (wish I had those hours) and never called me back. We got ripped off and I suggest never using them. Even though they were friendly when they came out they did a horrible job and customer service follow-up is a joke.

He was prompt and very professional. We hired another company the day before, we waited all day, they never showed. I would request Eric S. again. The lady that we called to arrange for the carpet cleaning was equally professional, rare nowadays !

It was good. It took maybe an hour. They were there on time.

It was great. They were very professional and on time. They're thorough with the before and after video of our ducts to make sure that we knew that they were cleaned.

It went well overall. We were not expecting the heat to be off as long as it was (Winter weather), so just be prepared for that. Also, small circle holes & 1 larger one was needed for the equipment to operate. All was capped off very well after completion, no problems there, but we just weren't aware that would occur. We saw before and after video & the vast improvement. Everyone should do air duct cleaning when moving into a new home or if you have rentals or other investment properties. Clean air is very important!

I don't think the service was worth the money, but they did do a good job and did exactly what they said they would. It cost a little more because we had more vents than the Big Deal covered.

This is the second time I had my ducts cleaned. The first company destroyed my ducts by cutting out at least 40 holes in them. After having my ducts cleaned by the first company I right away noticed soot coming from my vents. The cold air returns had mounds of dust coming out of them. I would dust every day and when I would get home from work I would notice the build up everywhere, including my walls. I felt the house was making me sick. Something was not right with their work. Modernistic was the second company that did the work OMG what a difference. I would recommend this company to everyone. Already I have 3 people asking me who the company was. These guys I will call Drew and Mark were the best! Polite and very knowledgeable about the work they were doing. They were also interested in all the holes that were cut out of my ducts. I was ready to purchase a humidifier until I mentioned it to Drew and he turned a valve on my furnace which turned from summer to winter. The dirt that had built up was released with a loud gushing sound it was pretty scary to think we were breathing all this in. Before cleaning was done I was shown a camera shot of the before and after effects, what a difference. So my final thoughts was this company was great will call them again and again. Thanks Angie! PS They also cleaned after they were done that was a pleasant surprise...

Loved that I could get a price estimate and schedule cleaning online. Crew showed up on time, very courteous, professional and did a great job. Much, much better than the last service I used. Stubborn spots that have returned again and again (in less than 3 weeks after the previous cleaning service I had used) are not returning even after 2 months of heavy traffic. Very pleased, would definitely use again.

They did a reasonably good job. They were priced just right. Scheduling an appointment was fine. They were very prompt.

Nick and Joe showed up in in the stated time window, were professional, and cleaned my air ducts as specified. My 50-year-old ranch home had never had its ducts cleaned, and they needed it! Nick and Joe brought along a fiber optic wire and let me see the condition of my ductwork before and after cleaning. They used protective barriers to keep my floors clean while moving around my house. The entire process took a little over an hour. I don't have pets, so I probably won't need this service again for a few years, but I highly recommend this team. It was well-worth the price of the Angie's List coupon.

I was buying a house and would like to perform duct cleaning for all the vents. When I booked the appointment I am not pretty sure about number of vents. I purchased this deal in $299 air duct cleaning hoping it for entire house. But when the guy arrived deal i paid only covers 10 vents and he said he has to perform all the vents in the house. According to him there is no point of doing the duct cleaning for only few of the vents in the house. So, I ended up paying another $120. Also, His equipment is not working to show me the proper videos of before and after the service.
