Modernistic

Modernistic is my go to for carpet cleaning and steam cleaning. I trust them. They try. They do a good job. They don't try to upsell me when they arrive like so many other companies. TOP FLIGHT.

I've had good experience with Modernistic in the past - they've cleaned rugs and a chair, so I invited them back to clean a stain on the front apron of the couch from a coffee stain. When they continued to clean the whole couch, areas of the couch-back, side panels & arms were saturated. After the Modernistic cleaning person left, the couch dried with huge areas showing brown-yellow stains where the couch had been saturated. They've returned to re-clean it twice since - at no extra charge - and claim it's "Haitian cotton" which stains this way - of course if they hadn't pushed to clean the whole couch - staining would've been limited to the apron below the cushions. Also, they've cleaned the arms of a matching chair in the past and there were no problems. But instead, now I have a couch with ghosted stains and Modernistic has since refunded the cleaning cost - the staining is reduced, but they have never offered to remedy the problem in any other way. Note to homeowners/renters - insurance doesn't cover this type of problem. Modernistic has gone radio dark since March... no follow-up, no attempt to make good on the damage they caused... acting as if more saturating and attempts to clean the fabric they claim causes stains will solve the problem! Huge caution when thinking about Modernistic - when they cause a major problem, they slow walk a solution and then drop the ball - leaving it up to you to bug them to make good.

excellent job, very clean carpet. Only issue was that it was wet until the evening. Muggy day, but we put up the a/c and went out. It was probably good to get out anyway.

I used their deal to get two very large areas plus hall and stairs cleaned. They were right on time, and it only took 45 minutes. They moved all the furniture back into place after scotchguarding. Very professional, great job! I will call them again after I am done housetraining a puppy!

They were very accommodating on scheduling & called me before they came. The technicians, Robert Clason & Nick, were very professional & wore shoe covers over their shoes (a suggestion every service professional should do). They had me show them which carpets needed cleaning & point out any spots or concerns before they started. Their work was great & my carpets looked like new when they were finished even the few spots I pointed out were gone. They were very upfront about the cost & honored my coupons. I have used Modernistic before & have always been please with their service. I will definitely use them again & recommend them to family & friends.

I called service to schedule appointment. Told them I am a member of Angie's list. They helped me to decide which coupon was the best for me. We scheduled appointment for the next week. The gentleman was right on time even though he called and said he would be late. Very friendly and professional. Cleaned 2 areas of concern and the spots did not return. Was quick and efficient. Took a little over an hour. Would recommend them and use them again.

Arrived promptly and didn't waste time getting to work, after finishing half of a room, called me over to look at it and see the difference. Overall they did a great job.

When I initially called, I was given a window between 9 and 5 so i really couldn't plan for anything else that day. They called before arriving and were very friendly and professional. They kept trying to sell more services and I refused them. I wasn't expecting a miracle, but nothing really looked better and they got liquid all over my hardwood floors that are next to the rugs and I had to mop up when they left. The deoderizer was a good feature. I really feel they were too pricey for the work that they did.

They did a good job. There was an extra. It was $299 for a certain amount of ducts and our house is a lot bigger. We had a lot more ducts so we added more for the ducts. It was good. It went well. There was no dislike. It was decent.

It was ok. I was renting a house and thought it was time to clean the carpets. They did a traditional carpet cleaning job. Sprayed any stains, but results weren't superb. Opted to have them add on the deodorizer (I have 2 dogs); all they did to deodorize was wAlk around and spray a liquid on the damp carpet. (I could've done that). It was an extra charge and NOT worth it. Overall cleaning result was just "good enough"' it was a rental so I didn't really insist upon perfection.
