They did a wonderful job. My old carpeting looks brand new. One spot came back and they returned the next day to get it out.

As read in the other reviews about how the technicians explained the process and all, unfortunately that was not in my case. They briefly answered only the questions I asked. Would have liked some more details. However, the service was very good and I could hear all the derbies being pulled out of the ducts that our previous owners left when doing some tile work.

Things went well. They arrived on time and performed the job as specified. They identified those stains that were going to be hard to eliminate and did a good job with the rest. They did the job efficiently and according to what was expected. Price was fair. There were cheaper options, but based on their reviews I decided to go with the most reliable service

Joe and John were nothing shy of FANTABULOUS! We were not surprised by the amount of expected dust they removed...but we (and they) were AMAZED to discover that the previous owners' remodel crews had used the ducts as convenient trash cans, where they simply tossed in large chunks of drywall, and other materials! Our guys said it was unconscionable to see that...and the vents were the dirtiest they had ever encountered. When they even pulled a decomposed critter's body from the mix, well.... We expect that the coming year will prove healthier for us both, and anticipate our furnace breathing a sigh of relief as it should be able to operate more efficiently. Add to that the fellows were both exceedingly professional, friendly, and conscientious regarding our tramatized kitty, who hates even the sound of a vacuum, and our praises can't go far enough. The price was also more than reasonable, and we will consider them our "go to guys" for any future work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAAAA++++++

Went fantastic. Fast. Easy. No complaints at all. I feel that the work that was done is helpful to my home and the air we are breathing.

The crew arrived on time. They were very professional and kind. They used a camera to show me our filthy air ducts. This was the first time our ducts were cleaned so they cut the openings in the main duct for access. They completely sealed the holes when they were done. They used a tool at each vent to "blow" the dirt into the main trunk where a large vacuum hose attached to the main trunk in the basement removed the dirt into the truck outside. They wiped down all of the vents. After they were done cleaning, they showed me our clean air ducts.

Modernistic did a great job. The technician was on time. He explained the work he was going to do and asked me if I had any questions. I asked him if he could get out several prominent stains in one of my rooms. He told me it wouldn't be a problem. He proceeded to clean the carpeting and apply the deodorizer and Scotchgard

They were great. They were very good. It was based on my availability. They were very accommodating and took care of it. I used them for another job after that. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them for carpet cleaning. They're our carpet cleaning company now. The quality of their work and the customer service stood out to me. They were very quick to get it finished. I was surprised how quickly they got it done.

The work was good. The men were professional. My air quality is much better. We were getting a lot of dust before the cleaning.

On 10/8/2016, we received confirmation from Modernistic Cleaning that their technician was expected to arrive at 1:00pm. By 2:30pm, the technician had not shown up and we had not received an updated status or ETA. We called the number that had sent us the 1pm ETA to ask what the status of our request was. When we did not receive a call back by 3:40pm, we called the 1-800 number to check on the status of our request. We were told that the technician's schedule showed him arriving at our house between 2pm and 4pm. We were also told that he had two more jobs to complete before ours, leading us to conclude that he would not be arriving by 4pm. We therefore cancelled our request because of Modernistic Cleaning's complete lack of communication and commitment to their schedule. The only positive to come out of our experience with Modernistic Cleaning involved the agent who processed our cancellation: she was very courteous and apologetic when taking my calls. My wife and I planned our weekend with her sister (in from out of town) around this cleaning, which makes us feel that Modernistic Cleaning does not respect their customers' time. We will be looking elsewhere for carpet cleaning services and will recommend to our friends and family in the Detroit area to do the same.

It went splendidly. The gentlemen were professional, explained everything, and did a great job.

It went very well, they had to come out twice. The first time they saw some moisture underneath the crawlspace and odor; told me I needed a plumber, They have a video camera of the ducts in my home so I was able to see "before" and "after" so I could see how much improved the ducts were after the cleaning.

Two young med arrived on time and were very informative about what they would be doing. They showed me what was going on and did a very good job. I would recommend them to others and have them again in a few years.

The carpets were not done around the edges of the room. They were moving so quickly to complete the job there was dirt left on the carpet. Given their reputation i thought they would be exceptional. instead they were average and we are still in search of a carpet cleaner we can count on.

The young man came on time, was personable, well trained, very efficient. The equipment broke down just before he was finished. He was very apologetic and careful to keep me informed of the procedure he was following to get the job finished. That was NOT the reason I gave a B. I was disappointed because some spots (dirt, not stains) in the traffic areas and stairs did not come out. Their equipment uses suction, no brush action. Their protocol seems to be to carefully cover everything once, but not more. I watched the young man. He obviously seemed to be carefully following a protocol. I mentioned my concern about the traffic area, and I believe he went over it a second time. When the rug was wet, discrete spots were not visible. When the rug dried, the spots became apparent. I have used a hand held rug cleaner to work( as in go back and forth in many directions) on some of the spots, with some success. You decide if my expectations to have dirt spots removed. Next time I will try a service that also uses an agitating brush.
