He arrived within the time frame mentioned, went right to work, had the shower fixed (and tested) in a very short matter of time. He then went to work on the install of the Armor Concepts - tested, reviewed what he did. Very efficient, knows his stuff and doesn't promise what he can't deliver.

John and I made an appointment and he never showed up. When I called, he apologized but didn't even seem to remember making the appointment. I took the morning off work to meet him so this was extremely frustrating. I did not reschedule.

John did a great job at a fair price. He was a pleasure to have at my home. I will have him back soon.

Came out to look at project but never gave me an estimate and did not respond to my inquiries. Not reliable.

John was very careful to lay down tarps to protect our carpeting. He has a very good sense of humor and friendly nature. He handled the setbacks we had with the hardware. He stayed until the job was completed.

He did some door sealing and window sealing work. He's a good guy. He just works part time. I think he's doing what he wants to do. I would say for a smaller job versus a larger job.

John was timely and a very nice man. He cleaned up after himself. He did a really good job. He was a man that you just know you can trust. I really liked him. I would recommend his service to anyone .

Everything went well. John came out to see what had to be done and gave estimate. He shopped for the items to be replaced. He was respectful of my home, removing his shoes and wearing booties, and he was pleasant to work with.

John was on time, very friendly, professional, did an excellent job, and did not leave any mess behind. We will hire him again in the future. If you're looking for a handyman he's you man!

John was very professional and punctual. We had several odd jobs that needed to be done. He came over and reviewed everything with us. He estimated that it would take him 1 1/2 to 2 days and explained his rates. We set a date and time. He arrived promptly and got right to work. He made a few suggestions along the way, but was not pushy. He was knowledgeable about the work, as well as about code and safety. Even though we added some chores along the way, he completed all the work in less than 2 days time. We were very pleased with John and will hire him again. We only wish we had known about him years ago. :)

We had a double door, over-the-counter kitchen cabinet whose laminate particle board sides and top had separated from the main cabinet. As a result, the shelves did not attach securely via the side pegs and we were unable to store any glassware on them. John removed the cabinet from the wall, attached strips of wood on the inside left, right and top sides of the cabinet, notched the shelf corners to accommodate the strips of wood, reattached the cabinet to the wall (which was the really hard part, considering he was working alone), and reattached the shelves and doors (it took him about 2 hours to complete the job). I feel the shelves are now quite secure to store the glassware, and the cabinet is back in its original position (you'd never know repairs had been done unless you opened the doors and peered inside). John is definitely a great person to work with -- he responded to my email requests promptly (I emailed him pictures showing the separation of the cabinet sides), was able to set a date for service quickly, arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, and came with all the tools, equipment and parts necessary to complete the work. We knew this was not a DIY project (both my husband and I are retired) and are very grateful to John for his willingness to tackle it. John wanted to work on the cabinet outside, but since it was SO cold, we insisted he do what work he could inside (sawing was done in the garage). Other than the unavoidable noise of the drill, we were not inconvenienced at all. Plus, he made sure he cleaned up everything before leaving. He also gave us a follow-up call to make sure everything was OK (that really impressed me!) We were very pleased with the work John did, and most definitely would hire him again for any non-DYI projects that may crop up -- he seems quite knowledgeable about a vast variety of home projects. The only reason I gave a grade of "B" for price is because he had initially estimated the cost on the phone (after viewing the pics) of $100, and requested upon completion of the work $150 (which I agreed to, knowing it was a difficult one-man project).

John is a jewel. I'm not kidding. He was on time, which is so unusual for contractors and was extremely professional. I felt very comfortable having him work upstairs while I was ironing and doing laundry in the basement. He bought all the necessary parts and came prepared to do the job. My son took pictures of what we needed done so he could come and start work right away. I would definitely ask John to work on my other properties here in Michigan. I have already asked him to come by and give me an estimate. His prices are excellent. I highly recommend John to come and do work in your home or commercial properties.

He worked all day replacing rotted wood frame for the storm door and installed the new door. He worked hard and did a wonderful job. The new door looks great and we are very happy with it. He cleaned up everything afterward and showed me features of the new door. We are hiring Mr. Jackson back in the spring to replace wood on the back door. Great man!

We had problems with the tank fittings and water fill/flush in our toilet. In addition, we have been without water in the kitchen after the faucet broke Thanksgiving morning. The next day I found John on Angie's List in the Handyman Category. There were several recent reviews, all of which were great; "A" reviews. He answered my call and we discussed the repairs that I needed and he said he would get with me on Monday to set the day & time, which he did. He did a great job at a fair price. We also discussed some other projects for after the holidays; I'm making that list. So happy to have found someone that can handle a variety of things that we have delayed getting done.

A delivery truck knocked out my mailbox post that held both my own mailbox and my neighbor's. John came the next morning to provide an estimate to replace the post, sink it in the ground, replace both boxes, and provide numbers. He was prompt, polite, and professional. I will be submitting the invoice to the delivery company and we'll see where it goes from there.

We feel we couldn't have found a more capable handyman and are very happy with John's work. He completed it in around 8 or 9 hours total on two different days, plus work he performed at home on a cabinet door. He is very efficient and meticulous, neat, skilled, and personable to have around. Thank you, John, and Angie's List!

Everything was done expertly and in a timely manner, John is personable and professional, and even made time to come back out and help me when another contractor didn't finish his job. I can't say enough good things about John and I plan to use him again very soon.

John was quick to reply to my search on Angie List. I had a call the very same evening and after some phone tag were able to set up a date for installation. He arrived as planned. After I told him I was picky about mailboxes being straight he explained how he installed them and calmed my fears. He even put house numbers on the box as they were not included with it. Mailbox is all installed waiting to receive mail today. Very pleased and plan on using him for other projects.

Great job! Fast and a real PRO

He said he would be here at 9:00am and he was 3 minutes late but was apologetic. The work he did was perfect. He was very neat. And he was reasonably priced.
