I called on August 17th and spoke with Darla who was very professional and helpful. She referred me to her colleague, Donna. I called Donna and left a message that day. Donna called me back and said she would call the next day to schedule an appointment. By Thursday, I still hadn't heard from her so I called her back. She was very apologetic and did admit she had forgetton to call me back. We scheduled the appointment for August 26th. She came on the 26th and met with my husband and provided very good and helpful suggestions. She told my husband she would email him the recommendations and the quotes for them to perform the work. My husband provided her three email addresses so I woul receive the information as well. Having said that, we still have received no communication at all from her. We did pay for the consultation that day, but never received the follow up information. Even worse is my husband was very impressed with her suggestions and called me to just hire them if the quote came in reasonable. We implemenetd the ideas he could remember. Very disappointed in the communication, and what we received for the money we paid. I didn't follow up with her again because I had to do that once, and I saw a pattern. I wouldn't recommend them.

I fix and sell homes for profit so the look and feel for the consumer is critical to a sale. Within a few days the home was ready to list and all the buyers commented how well the home showed. You will be happy with her service.

I've worked with Darla on several occasions over the years, and have never been disappointed. These projects have been for design and redecorating ideas rather than actual home staging, but her professionalism and background clearly shows. She takes time to listen and makes suggestions I never thought of, which is what I need more than anything - especially choosing colors and updating the house in key areas. Her networking connections are invaluable, and key to a well-planned and successful job. Would definitely recommend her services!!

Impact Interiors was recommended by our real estate agent as a "staging" service to provide temporary furnishings to make an empty house look more attractive and sell at a better price. She also advises the real estate agent on colors and other options when re-finishing a house in preparation for sale. I think the staging went well. They delivered the furnishings on time and set them all up. It looked attractive. They removed them on time. It is impossible to say whether the buyers were inclined to offer a higher price because the house looked better with the temporary furniture in it. Of the 20 visitors that came on the first weekend, we had one serious offer. However, I can say that it helped convince my real estate agent that we were justified in asking for a higher price than we originally discussed. And since that one offer settled on a price that was more than 99% of that higher asking price, I can say with a fair degree of confidence that the money invested in the staging paid off. The recommendations on the paint colors was more difficult. While my family was willing to accept any colors recommended for the interior of the house, we had very serious concerns about the color recommended for the exterior. Whether a particular color is the "in" thing or is simply just a common fad that will be gone in a year or two is a subjective matter, of course. However, the owner of Impact Interiors needs to be more sensitive to the wishes of her clients. She needs to learn how to offer an opinion without insisting on it. She needs to be able to find substantially different secondary alternatives rather than sticking to the first. I hope this degree of professionalism will develop as she continues with her work.

The before/after is amazing - cluttered basements and cabinets are transformed; living room/bedroom/family rooms were staged using furniture and fixtures we owned but simply had in the wrong place so there were no additional costs; even a cluttered garage was sorted out. In a single day we went from 10-years of stuff that would have taken us weeks to sort out to ready to sell. Darla's team was friendly and helpful but also organized, helping us to get rid of things we really didn't need. And your stuff doesn't go to waste - her team ran the donate-pile to charity shops and recycling/shredding to SOCCRA. The money spent saved weeks of time and hopefully $$$ on sale of home.
