Jim was out at the agreed on time and was very efficient. Did the job, cleaned up and was gone in about 1 hr. Answered a few of my random questions without hesitation also. Would recommend. God job!

Kind courteous and professional people. I ordered my own supplies from Amazon and of course (murphy's law) I didn't order the right items. But that did not stop these guys from figuring out how to get the job done, even though it caused my work on their end. They were virtuous, honest, and remembered every little detail that I asked for. This is my second time working with them and I'm sure I'll be calling on them again and again.

Tim the owner is outstanding. They showed up on time. The leadtime was quick. And the final job was finished to my satisfaction. There was a small cosmetic concern that Tim came back that night to patched it even though it wasn't in the original scope of work.

This guy has a heart of gold. A friend's furnace quit working while we were putting a new thermostat in. The furnace circuit breaker would not stay on after the installation. I called Dean based on his A rating on AL. I didnt expect anyone to pick up on a Sunday night. The first few "A" electricians didnt pick up. I was fortunate that Dean did take the call. He worked with me over the phone to isolate the issue and then shared a tip that kept the furnace on life support to keep the house warm through the night. I was able to do the repair myself based on his recommendations the next day. He's knowledgeable and he's honest. thanks Dean.

Called the company on a Saturday at 1:30pm and Tim the owner answered. Explained that I needed a commercial service call done relatively quickly but not an emergency call. He let me know that he may have a technician who could maybe come out and that he would get back with me. At 2:30pm, Jeff the technician called me and stated that he could be here at 3:30pm. He arrived promptly. He was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He performed the service and cleaned up the area afterwords. As a female alone in the building, I felt very comfortable and safe. Tim and Karen, you have a wonderful employee and unbelievable customer service; thank you! I will be using your service again and would recommend your company.

I was thrilled with the work he did. Our backyard system is still working great now (over 2 months later). This gentleman figured out the problem that no electrician I have used in the house in 20 years was able to diagnose. His knowledge of how things were done in construction at the time our house was built was the key. He ordered a new control panel for my basement lights and put it in a few weeks after his first visit. It works fantastic, so much better than my previous system. I can't believe no one in the past ever pointed out I needed to be using dimmable bulbs. I will call this company any time I have electrical problems in the future. Tim W. came by within two days of my initial emailed inquiry to provide a quote for the work: add a circuit and provide wiring for a new exhaust fan, recessed shower light, vanity light, GFCI outlet and three-gang light switch. Tim was very accommodating and understanding of my needs. I provided most of the materials, and his colleague Jim came out today to do the work. He arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully, giving me key pieces of information and insight. A great experience--thoroughly pleased. Thank you Dean Electric!

Two years ago I was searching for an electrician to install a Hunter ceiling fan. I went to Angie's List and found Dean Electric Inc. Jim came to my house in September 2012 and installed the ceiling fan I had purchased for my kitchen. I purchased another Hunter fan to be installed in a bedroom and because my first experience with Dean Electric went so well I called them again. The receptionist on the phone gave me a price for a fan installation and because I'm an Angie's List member I was eligible for a discount. Once again it was Jim that came to my house this morning and in one hour the fan was installed. He looked at the electrical box in my ceiling and told me it was sufficient to hold this fan, he didn't try to sell me a box that I didn't need. I am very pleased with the service provided by Dean Electric and I'm grateful for Angie's List that I have a place to go to search for contractors that I can hire to get the work done.

It went fine. He arrived on time and never stopped working. He did a marvelous job. He made sure that the area was clean when he was finished. He was very congenial.

Work was completed as scheduled. I also discussed some follow-up work to replace additional external outlets and provide a quote for installing a whole house generator. I will have them back!

Experience was execellent. Pricing was within other estimates, they did their best job to match our existing light post fixtures, LED lighting upgrade looks great! and the 15amp to 20amp upgrade is working great. DEAN Elec. pulled the necessary permits, did a diagram of where and how everything was going to be connected and communicated answering all questions regarding upgrades, work to be performed and timing.

I would use them again!

The came very promptly after my call and Jim did a great job doing the assessment and solving the problem. He also gave me very helpful information about scheduling a future job. Would absolutely recommend!

Unfortunately for us, the fault was in our inexperience. The electrician was able to set everything right very quickly. Received a 15% Angie's List discount on the service call, but it was still an expensive (and slightly embarrassing) lesson. Since we are not handy, we need reliable help to deal with the problems home ownership brings. That is the main reason we joined Angie's List..

Tim Webb, the owner, was always very responsive and returned emails and phone calls very promptly when I had questions. He also quoted the job several times working with me to get the job within my budget. The person who performed the work was Jim. He was very informative about what he was doing and always professional and polite. They cleaned up afterward and left their work area clean. They do great work and I will definitely hire them again.

The owner Tim came out to do the work and he is a total no nonsense kind of business man. He came in when he said he would, and not only did a great job with the install and fixing our whole house fan, but he also fixed one other issue without charge. I really appreciated his professionalism and expertise. I will be using him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Jim and Jordan were with us for most of 2 days doing this work and were very nice and pleasant. Tim Webb did the quote and was very professional and accommodating. All of the work was very well done!!

Tim did an outstanding job. He arrived on time, was very professional and dealt well with all of our animals (two dogs and two cats) who were all very curious as to what he was doing. He provided advise over the phone so that I could have things ready for him so as to maximize the efficiency of his time at our home. He was also dealt with problems related to me buying incompatible switches, but found a way to make it all work that was even better than we initially planned.
