They were competitively priced. The workers were very polite and pleasant. They did a nice job. There were 2 negatives that I had. First, they arrived on time for the first part of the project, but there was some delay in the crew arriving for the second part and this delay was not very well communicated to me so I waited unnecessarily at the house. Also, I requested the Angie's list deal (15% off a service call) from the owner Tim before the second part of the project (at which time I would be paying the entire bill) but was told that I could not get the discount on a project that was a "quoted job".

When I called on the phone to tell them the electrical issue. They told me that it was a Dte issue. They were very nice.

Recieved a call back in 2 days after I had emailed the company and had a quote 4 days after that. Job was completed in approximately 8 days from my intial inquiry and the job itself was completed when they said it would be completed. Professional and very neat- cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend this company and plan on using them again.

Mike arrived at 9am and I showed him what needed to be done. I had several fixtures for him to install and some 3-way wiring that wasn't connected properly. He set to work and kept at it until everything was finished. Mike was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to hire Dean Electric again.

I called to obtain a quote for work required to stop water from penetrating into my electrical breaker box. After some questioning about the configuration of the outside line/meter set up and steps I had taken fix the problem myself, Tim determined that it would not be cost effective for me to pay for a repair. Instead, he walked me through a few more common locations water can get into the box and how to seal them. I appreciate his honesty and plan on using Dean Electric to replace the breaker box at a future date.

Tim Webb was extremely professional. We have just moved my husband's mother to senior living and will be leaving her house unoccupied until we can determine what to do. Mr. Webb suggested that we not spend money on lights repairing or installing lighting which only works marginally. Rather than suggesting something which could have profited his company, he simply suggested changing some light bulbs to CFLs and leaving them on day and night. Tim could have taken advantage of a stressful situation, but instead he was absolutely practical and helpful. If we do need to do electrical work to this house, we will call Dean Electric.

Serviceman got there right on time. He was friendly, professional and well dressed. Circuit was checked out and all issues were dealt with and fixed. Excellent price and excellent service. I am recommending this company to all family and friends!

I had previously called another company but they couldn't come out to my house for 3 1/2 weeks. I was under a time crunch because I was having insulation installed and the fans needed to be hooked up first. I called Dean Electric on a Tuesday, was greeted very nicely on the phone and gave all of the details to the person who answered the phone. I receive a phone call from the install department the very next day (Wednesday). They offered to come out the next day (Thursday) but I had to work. So we scheduled the work for Friday. Great experience scheduling. The technician showed up on time (even with the snow) and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. No clean-up for me and he alerted me that one of the fans had a slight leak. I was able to use a 25% off coupon for the first hour. I feel that the job went very well from start to finish. I will definitely use and recommend this company.

The people at Dean Electric took my call and provided prompt service to perform the estimate. I was pleased with the courteous and quick service of the estimating process and the price that I asked them to do the job. They called me back the next day with the appointment schedule. I made the date for s day comfortable with me and it was no problem for them. They showed on time the day of the work to begin. The work consisted of running a new electrical line to the underside of my built in fireplace to accomodate a fan that I purchased to place in the gas fire place. The electrician also identified the problems with two outlets that I had and a three-way light switch with dimmer that was causing problems. He quickly tackled those jobs as well and cleaned up after himself. All-in-all the work was done professionally and it was explained to me what the problems were. I would definitely hire them again for any electrical work that I cannot fix or take care of myself.

I was impressed that they were here at exactly the time they said they would be and sent two people to cut down on the time so I would not have to pay more; which was wonderful. They did a great job and before they left they offered me some suggestions on other electrical features on my home. I will use them again and again. Their prices are competitive and I will use them again in the future.

The only problem we had was that our agreed proposal with Dean Electric Inc. did not match the task list given to the two electricians that arrived to do the work. This created frustration on both the customer side and the electrician side, dampening an otherwise "A" rated experience. This frustration comes from electricians not having all the parts and equipment and gear on their truck, having to reschedule the electricians, spending additional time with spaces in disarray, and additional phone calls by both the electricians and the customer to Deans headquarters for clarifications (time wasted). If they could get the same proposal that the customer gets it would likely clear up this matter and exclusive "A" ratings would not be a problem. Otherwise, the electricians were friendly, performed good work, neat and tidy, made sure everything worked, answered all my questions, explained procedures, worked out a return date to complete one install and swap out a standard switch for a dimmer switch. So if you hire Dean ensure that the same proposal you get from Dean matches with the electricians' so that both parties can be prepared for each other and you should be able to give them "excellent" ratings across the board.

It went very well. I had originally called Dean Electiric when I needed to (urgently) have some wall wires buried during my kitchen renovation. I received service within one day, when the owner came out and completed the work. At that time, I asked for an estimate for some additional electrical work I needed. He discussed the work, gave recommendations and answered my questions. I then received a written (email) estimate with an item by item explanation and cost. I then called and the work was promptly scheduled. I am especially happy with the lighting installed and am using it daily.

On Wednesday night I plugged my space heater into the bedroom plug and when I turned it on the lights went out. I tried the circuit breaker but it was on. Then on Thursday morning I remember hearing a buzzing sound coming from the wall where the plug was located. While at work I called Dean Electric and they met me at my home four hours later. Luckily it was an easy fix and the electrician knew exactly what it was when I explained the sequence of events to him. If it hadn't been fixed, I could have had an electrical fire in my home.

They were fast. They did what they said they were going to do. They had a reasonable price for what they did. I will use their services again in the future.

I had several electrical repairs and updates that needed attention. Tim came out for the estimate. He was very informative and did not try to pressure me into anything. He was also very understanding when I changed my mind about some things 1/2 way through the job. Jim and Jeff did the work. They were prompt, professional and friendly. Price: Of course any amount is more than I want to pay, but with the list of tasks, their expediency and quality of work I think the cost of the job was within reason.

The job went very well. The electricians from Dean were very professional and performed the work in a reasonable time. When everything was completed they walked though the how to use the transfer switch and we even tested everything out.

He did it well and cleaned up. The price seemed reasonable for what he did. He came first to see what we had because we were getting a new stove. We had another electrician come in and we chose him because he thought there might have been a problem with the city and he checked it out. He thought that he might have to put in a new fuse box but he didn't end up having to and the other electrician said we had to have a new one. He came right on time.

He even double checked all of his work. They were on time, efficient, pleasant, and professional. You can tell they know what they are doing. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I called and spoke to Kathryn on 10/31 about someone coming out to give me an estimate. Mike called me on Monday, 11/3 and came over in the afternoon to look at the garage. He e-mailed me an estimate on Tuesday. I called and made an appointment to have the work done on Thursday, 11/6 in the morning. Two electricians arrived promptly at 8:30 and completed the work in 2 hours. They left the garage in good order. Lights and garage opener are now working off of electricity and not extension cords.

The company did a great job. They were prompt and got the work done quickly. They cleaned up when they were finished. We will continue to use this company for our electrical needs. They were also able to come out and do the job within the same week of my call to schedule.
