Description of Work: Started the job on time. Reviewed all information from prior estimate and had good advice/suggestions for remaining questions. Job was completed sooner than I had thought and could not have gone smoother.

Description of Work: Dean Electric ran electrical wiring to install a ceiling fan and recessed lighting in 2 rooms. Upgraded circuit in elec panel for our overhead microwave (so it would stop shorting out panel). Ran 220 line to our attached garage. And added an outlet in my laundry room closet. | |They were great to work with & finished on time.

Description of Work: Fixed a line that became loose. He was able to find the problem and fix it quickly.

Description of Work: Installed 4 ceiling fans and cable, switches from attic, there was no overhead lighting prior, they were incredibly clean and efficient! I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Half my circuit breakers were not working. Left a voice mail for Dean Electric. I received a phone call back, within 15 minutes. The gentleman asked some questions to troubleshoot, then apologized that he didn't have anyone available to come out today. What impressed me, was that he remained helpful by giving me the name of another company he trusted, that would probably be able to help me, today.

Description of Work: They were trying to find out why my breaker kept tripping. They came out over and over because it would work for a while and then trip again. They were extremely nice,very friendly and very helpful. I recommend them because they actually cared. It was GREAT!

Description of Work: Dean Electric will be my first choice for any future needs. They are prompt, professional and on time. Dean Electric always answers the phone and keeps appointed time and updates with arrival time. I had them relocate my thermostat and wire in my fireplace blower. I was told by another electrician that it was not possible to locate the thermostat where I wanted it. No problem for the Dean Electric company.

Description of Work: I had work in my kitchen months ago. I had my kitchen island ready to install, found out there was not any electricity in the line to an outlet. The electrician arrived as close to time as possible with snow & road issues, inspected the entire kitchen, all outlets & electrical wires to find problem. Needed an estimate for new line.

Description of Work: The service technicians called to say they were on their way. They spent a long time trying to find the issue so that they could correct it and after about 2 1/2 hours decided that it was much farther back than anyone thought so they fixed the problem using another existing hot line that should not have been there. Everything that they saw that was a code violation they fixed and there were too many for me to think about as someone just haphazardly put things together in my home. I was very happy with them as they kept updating me on the progress and they tested all the plugs and wires to see if they could locate the initial source of the problem. They even moved the furniture out and put it back when they were done. I was very happy with the technicians and their service. I was not happy with the bill, but they earned it!

Description of Work: Arrived in less than one hour after call to fix a circuit breaker outage. Checked power coming in and cleaned outside meter connections. checked breakers and restored power.

Description of Work: I lost power on my stove and two lights. DTE was of no help. I called another company from Angie's List and the electrician who called me to give me an estimate was rude and would not give me an estimate beyond the cost of coming to my home. Dean Electric spoke with me on the phone politely and professionally, and asked questions before they came out so that their time and my money wasn't wasted. I asked them to also install a chandelier. Although the chandelier was old and difficult to install, Mike, the electrician, showed expedience and completed the job quickly and efficiently. The entire experience was A+ with regard to quality of work, friendliness, and value. I will definitely call them again when I need electrical work.

Description of Work: Problem with too much electrical use in one side of the kitchen. They checked everything and put in a separate outlet plug for the microwave and no more problem. Yeah! Very professional and we will have them back to put in a ceiling fan and an outside plug in the front of the house.. Thanks Angie.

Description of Work: Dean Electrical came, did the work I asked for and left all within the 1 hr time frame. Jim was professional, knew his stuff and was an all around nice guy. He fixed the light switch and electrical plug in my garage that was not working, helped me with a non-functioning doorbell and told me I did not need a smoke alarm in my garage. It was the hottest day of the year, going up to 100 degrees with high humidity yet he was very pleasant. I will use them again for sure!
