We have been with them for more than 5 years now. They get the job done in about 20-30 minutes when they come out each time.

When I originally called the company, the specialist informed me, that I needed a professional to remove the wasp problem, because if I just sprayed wasp killer into the vent, the wasps would move farther back into the vent and would eventually try to eat through my drywall to find a way out. I definitely needed a specialist to handle this big problem! So, I took his advice and scheduled a tech to come out and handle my wasp issue. The man arrived, looked in the vent, confirmed there were wasps inside my vent. He said that wasps are very aggressive and I needed them gone. He said he would use an "earth friendly" product, that would kill the wasps and not harm my kids. He took a small canister out, that was filled with diatomaceous earth (DE), and puffed a few nozzles full, into the vent. He then looked around my home, and sprayed a few more puffs around my foundation. He stated he would call me in a few days, to ensure the wasps had died. He also stated he would do a follow-up visit the next week, to check on the wasp nest. The wasps did die, about a day or two after he left. The wasps did move farther into the vent and end up dying right outside my bathroom vent cover. So, I had a huge pile of decaying, rotting wasps and wasp nest in my home. Let me tell you....the smell was GOD AWFUL. I had to leave my bathroom vent on 24/7, otherwise the whole first floor of my home smelled of death. When I called the office, about a week after the tech puffed the DE into the vent, to inform them, that NO ONE had checked on the issue. NO ONE had come back out. And now, I had an even bigger problem. I now had dead wasps and a wasp nest about 15 feet into my home. They said the job was finished. Wasps were dead, right? When I told the company to come back out and now remove the wasps and the nest, they said NO. They will kill the pest. NOT remove them. REALLY?!!? So, you spray them, they crawl further into my home to die, then I have to remove them? UMMMM, not what I signed up for. For 175 bucks, I would assume that these "professionals" would fully handle my pest problem. Not create a bigger one. So, I told them they could refund my money and I would be happy to get someone who could help me. They refused. They charged me the 175 dollars, for a tech to come out and spray $5 worth of DE into a vent. Anyone can buy DE from a garden store or a pool store. I could have sprayed the vent myself! I needed someone to remove the wasps from inside my home!!! Eventually, in August, I called a chimney sweep, and he came out and cleared the vent out with his sweeping brushes. There was such a stench and mess that got pulled out. He was gagging from the smell. I finally had someone do the job that I paid them for!! Do not hire American Pest Control. Do the job yourself! Get some DE, a sprayer and you can spray your home (inside and out) for less than $20.

They are very easy to work with. They come and do the work and then leave and just send an invoice. They come once per quarter. I would recommend them to others.

The first year was fine. The next year, they would not show up as scheduled and the majority of the time their equipment broke down. They did not spray the agreed upon number of times and would not reimburse us for the unused amount. Would not recommend them to anyone.
