I recently had the pleasure of working with American Asphalt Paving for some much-needed repairs and maintenance on my parking lot, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They handled everything from asphalt repair, sealcoating, hot rubber crack filling, along with restriping the entire lot. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and meticulous. They took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, ensuring I was comfortable and informed. I highly recommend American Asphalt Paving for their top-notch service and exceptional workmanship. They truly exceeded my expectations and delivered a parking lot that looks and functions like new!

Clearly the economy has improved business for American Asphalt, because it is nearly impossible to get Mike Pradine to provide a quotation. After contacting his company via their website in early August, he failed to show up for a scheduled appointment on Saturday, August 8. After several other attempts to contact him, he promised to be over the afternoon of Thursday, August 29, for which I waited at home for his arrival. When I finally reached him in late afternoon, he was headed out of town and said he had forgotten about coming over. He promised to swing by the next day, when we were away, and I told him that a spec sheet would be left at the front door for his review -- of course, it was never picked up and there was never a call back from Mike Pradine. Finally, I was able to reach him a week later and he said he had stopped by, but there was no time left in the season to get to my job so he didn't want to quote. He offered a weak apology for not calling with that information, after I mentioned how long I had waited to get this quote. He never tried to explain that perhaps the job should be done next spring, he just did not want to quote a $20,000+ full replacement project. Fortunately, I got quotes from five (5) other contractors, all within 5-10 days after contacting each one, and there are some A+ rated contractors who appear eager for work. American Asphalt may also do good work, but I'll never know, since apparently it takes 5 WEEKS just to find out they are not interested!
