 + -1 moreNorthern Sprinkler installed my system 6 years ago and did a great job. This year I had new septic system put in which destroyed 1/2 my sprinkler system. I gave Norther Sprinkler 2 months notice to schedule me for repair (March 2024). I kept them informed the entire time of the progress of the septic project which was completed in early May. It is now mid September and they have NOT scheduled me for repair. This is after multiple phone calls and emails to which they do not respond. And, they had the audacity to send me an email scheduling me for the fall blowout - even though my system was never turned on or repaired. Any company that treats an existing customer this poorly is one to be avoided at all costs. There are other great sprinkler companies in the Traverse City area. I would encourage you to look elsewhere, Northern Sprinkler is not a company you can depend on.

 + -1 moreInstallation was perfect, on time and done without problems. Not one call back to adjust anything in 3 years. Blow out service is done quickly and if I have to change the appointment, it is done without complaint.

 + -1 more,What a wonderful company! I had a free estimate done on a bitterly cold, rainy day in early June for repairs to my irrigation system. Jason was wonderful, didn't make me feel rushed for asking questions and opinions on changes I needed. Jeramy came to do the work and was very professional and did a great job. He discovered a valve issue and rather than just replacing everything he tried to repair first. I have had Northern Sprinklers do blow out service in past but this year was repair time. Cathy, the receptionist, scheduler etc is wonderful. She quickly responds to emails and is very knowledgable about all aspects of business I have inquired about. It is such a pleasure to deal with people who truly make you feel like your business is important to them.

Description of Work: I bought a house with a sprinkler system. I used Angie's list to choose a company. Kathy called me immediately after I left a message. She was extremely friendly. She arranged for Jeremy to come set up my system for the summer. He was on time, very friendly, and when he found out the house was new, he asked me to tag along with him to see where the heads and valves were. We found two broken heads and a zone that wasn't working. He worked in the rain to fix it, ran out of time (before another appt), and finished the next day. He also taught me how to set the timing system and make changes. The bill is reasonable. We will see how it works, but so far, I am planning to use them from now on.

 + -1 moreThe employees not only did the basic turn on, I had some additional work needing to be done. He did so without a problem. My rain sensor wasn't turned on correctly, the timing sensor wasn't correct and he had to move a sprinkler head, and he did so with no problem and without me directing him to do so. This was a nice change of pace, a lot of workkman you have to tell them what to do, and I didn't have to with him. Great customer service and always smiles.

Description of Work: Installed 6 zone irrigation system for back yard including 29 sprinkler rotors and heads. Modular controller used has capacity to expand up to 32 zones to cover other areas for the future.

In addition he had cleaned up some other issues that were part of my existing irrigation and I didn't even ask him to do that. Great service! I will call Northern Sprinklers for all my irrigation needs

Description of Work: I had a ten zone irrigation system installed by Scott and his crew. I was exceedingly happy with the install, instruction, and service given after the install. They are timely with the seasonal blow out, and restart. There is no question in my mind as to who I will call for my next home. Thank you so much for a job well done.
