GT Wood Flooring

Jared and his team did an excellent job refinishing the floor in our great room. The former owners had dogs, so there were lots of scratches and damaged areas, but GT Flooring made it smooth as new! We had water leaking from a window while the team was working, and they alerted us to the problem. We were very happy with the work, and Jared is great to do business with!

Excellent. Jared was knowledgeable and prompt in his reply. The quality of his work was excellent and he completed the work quickly without any issues. This work was done on an up north vacation home and I was able to trust him to complete the task without ever meeting him face to face. He sent pictures of progress from his phone and was very trustworthy and reliable. The pricing was on the high end but the quality and travel time to the jobsite justified the expense, I don't think I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere or as fine a quality job.

We are very pleased with the results. Jared was quick to respond and very professional. The job started as scheduled and was completed timely.

We were very happy with Jared and Bob (his installer). I was looking for someone (relatively) local that could do a Rubio Monocoat finish on the install. Jared answered my questions over the phone and then came and met my husband and I at our house and helped us finalize our plan as it got closer to install time. We ordered the flooring ourselves from an out of state mill and Jared installed it and finished it. Very professional and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

It was very encouraging to deal with someone who was both professional, knowledgeable, punctual and timely. The work by GT Flooring was exemplary. I was kept apprised every step of the way as to the progress and alerted to any surprises that came up and given the opportunity regarding how to deal with it, As the work progressed I was sent pictures and even videos to see how the floor was looking. This was because we were out of the state for the entire refinishing! I felt completely secure having GT Flooring enter our home and completing the job while we were away, start to finish. The best part was, we were not disappointed AT ALL!

They did an awesome job. They are responsive and ultra professional and made something that was of extremely high quality. All they do is floors... they know floors, finishes, wood, etc. Jared is extremely pleasant and conscientious. (Price listed was just for the kitchen. The floors upstairs were done at the start of 2014).

Quality workmanship at a fair price. The work was done on time and, as promised, almost no dust to clean up. One minor problem was taken care of the day after I called. Jared went above what was required handling a totally unrelated problem while we were away. He discovered the condensate pump on our furnace was not working. He cleaned up the water,set up a fan to dry the area and called us in Florida. Even stayed later the next day to let a furnace repairman into the house. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend!!!

Jared was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. A couple weeks before we took possession of our newly purchased home, we contacted GT Wood Flooring (Jared) for an estimate on refinishing wood floors. After closing on our home, we contacted Jared with a tentative schedule of multiple contractors doing work in the house. We kept in touch with him as soon as we had a better idea of when he could get into the house. Within a week (or less) we were able to schedule him to come in and do the work. We were on a very tight time frame and scheduling multiple contractors. Jared was very flexible, easy to work with, and even willing to come in on the weekend to meet our tight time frame. The floors look amazing and nearly everyone when seeing our home for the first time comment on their beauty.

We were closing on our new (to us) cottage and needed to have the wood floors done before moving in. Spoke to Jared and made an appointment to meet for an estimate at noon on Saturday, 16 (also the first day of hunting season). We needed to get on his schedule so that we could set a move-in date. Based on 5 glowing Angie's List reviews, coupled with his positive attitude on the phone, Jared was well on the way to getting the job. Scope of work included refinishing existing red oak wood floors in the dining/living room and one bedroom; installation of additional hard wood flooring in one bedroom, a loft and stairway. On Friday, November 15, we closed on the cottage, change into work clothes and started pulling up carpet like maniacs so that Jared could give us an accurate quote. But he never showed up. Saturday 12 o'clock comes, and 12 o'clock goes. Call to the cell phone went into voice mail. No call, no show, no nothing. Stupidly, I did not call another installer for a quote. Our cottage is a 41/2 hour drive from home, so popping back up to meet with another installer was not an easy task. Lesson learned in the north country! Luckily I was able to get another recommended installer to come out.

Professional, friendly, high qualilty work. We hired GT Hardwood twice to refinish existing floors and will hire them again to install new floors to match.

Jared came over on November 6 and gave us an estimate and explained what he would be doing. He originally told me he was already scheduled thru Thanksgiving and didn't try to pressure us to set up a date at that time. I called him back a week later and let him know we wanted to go ahead with the job, but was concerned about accessing the house through an alternate entrance because of the floor needing to dry. He told me at that time that he would probably be able to do it right before Thanksgiving, as someone had cancelled. He checked his dates and got back to me right away and set up the appointment. Jared did a good job of explaining the process, as we had not been through a refinishing job before. He was eager to accomodate our scheduling needs, and explain how long it would take to dry, and what the floor should look and feel like after each coat. He cleaned up well after the job was finished, and offered advice in keeping the floors looking new for as long as possible. He was easy to work with and professional. I will definitely contact him again in the future when the floors need refinishing again.

I found GT Wood Floors on Angies list, and could not be happier. Jared provided the best estimate, and spent the time to thoroughly explain how the he would proceed to get the job done. Both he and his brother Chris proved to be professional, hard working, and talented, and as a bonus, super nice, upbeat, and easy to deal with. I am so happy with the work, would recommend them to anybody who desires quality work, and would definitely hire them again.

They quoted a fair price, were here when they said they would be, were done when they said they would be, and were generally pleasant during the whole process. You can hardly ask for more.
