Description of Work: Ferraro Builders fixed a few things in the house, issues with the fireplace and issues with one of the doors.

 + 7 moreAfter researching multiple builders, we hired Ferraro Builders to construct our new summer home on Lake Michigan. Quite obviously we were concerned about undertaking this large a project while living 1600 miles away. In the end, the home exceeded our wildest expectations. It was absolutely gorgeous. At the same time, it was finished exactly on time and within budget. Mike Ferraro was not only a pleasure to work with, but his expertise, guidance, and experience all led to a very efficient and ultra-high quality home. No matter what happened, nothing was ever a problem for Mike. Every week he sent pictures and we discussed over the phone construction and design details. We came up only 3 times to review and inspect the project. The most important question any prospective new homeowner should ask to clients of a builder is: would you use this builder again if you were building again? Our answer in the case of Ferraro Builders is absolutely! Mike was a pleasure to work with, he was on time, and in budget, and most importantly produced a very well constructed product.
Description of Work: The project involved construction from the ground up of a new 3000 sq ft summer home on Lake Michigan.. The contract ended up being a cost plus type after multiple options were presented. The work involved demolition of an existing structure followed by construction of all aspects of a new home i.e. Plumbing, heating, electrical, roofing, cabinets, flooring and painting.

Description of Work: Wonderful firm. Reliable and trustworthy. They built our house and did a superb job. Top notch quality and peace of mind for us while constructing. On top of details and worked very closely with us. Always looking for the best balance between price/quality. Has a very good team and Mike Ferraro (the owner) made himself available whenever needed. They also have concierge services ( in essence they can take care of any detail needed in the house when something is not working, need to add or change soemthing or simply you are going away for a while and want to check on the house...plus snow removal, etc. Needless to say we are using them regularly!....and very happy with that decision. We also collaborate with client-provided architects & designers. We do work with clients that prefer to do some of the work themselves.
We do not engage in entry/starter homes or modular homes. We do not offer construction financing.
