Drywall Dynamics, Inc. has been in business for over 30 years. We have several employees who have been doing drywall for over 20 years. We are a full service company that provides stocking, hauling away the debris completing the drywall down to broom sweeping and cleaning out the windows when the job is complete. We have state of the art equipment, products and experienced professionals, we provide the highest quality of drywall installation and service available. Drywall Dynamics, Inc. Has several contractors that we have worked for since our company has opened.
2 workers showed up to hang the drywall. The remaining days of work only one employee showed up. He was courteous and friendly. However, while sanding the drywall he dropped the scaffolding platform (approximately 2 feet by 4 feet piece of metal) from about 5 feet high. We checked a small area on the floor for damage and didn't find any. At the completion of the job, when he removed all of the paper from the floor there were 2 areas of damage, one was rather large. (This was 2 day old flooring!) I contacted the owners and JoEllen (the wife) was unprofessional and angry. Although the employee admitted to the scaffolding being dropped, the owners refused to accept ANY responsibility. The last words from the owners were, "FRANKLY, IT'S YOUR PROBLEM!" Regardless if the work was acceptable or not, the unprofessionalism and extra cost associated with the damage incurred by Drywall Dynamics makes it impossible to recommend this company. Do NOT hire this company!
Description of Work: We removed a wall and installed an arch. Drywall Dynamics did the drywall work for the arch and repaired several large holes and cut-outs associated with our remodel job.

We as always were going to go out and look at the floor at that time [member name removed] informed us that the floor had already been repaired. I (Joellen Sanborn) tried to explain to her that we should have been allowed to see the floor before being repaired and then we would have gladly taken care of this. She told me she only had (2) days for her contractor to repair. After going to court and seeing pictures this was not even the area that the scaffold piece had been dropped. Our remployee had pulled back the rosin paper and [member name removed] agreed that there was no damage. After not paying $250.00 we ended up going to court. After seeing the pictures in court Steve the president of Drywall Dynamics, Inc. just told the judge to have done to give them the $250.00. We shook hands amicably and both went our separate ways. With [member name removed] saying we did a fantastic job.

The owner showed up on time and provided a written quote via email. That was the only thing that went well. They accidentally broke a window during the installation and told US to gather all the bids and information to get it repaired and give it to them. We gave them all the information that we gathered offering many repair options and the names of the people we spoke with. They became angry over the lowest quote saying it was too expensive. They treated us with hostility. The glass repair cost was $183.63 but they demanded to only pay $150. We had to absorb the difference not to mention our time invested into fixing a window that WE did not break. Although they say they are an insured company, in this case it meant nothing. Regarding the quality of the work: Average. I had use spackling to fill many tiny holes and a few corner cracks. They did complete the work and the crew was polite. Based on the owner's unprofessionalism and lack of integrity we do not recommend this comapny and will not hire them again.
Description of Work: Drywall Dynamics was hired to install new drywall to a bathroom ceiling and walls. Their estimate was the highest of the six quotes we received but they had a good reputation so hired them knowing we had several more drywall projects to do in the future.

The reason we did not pay the full amount that [Member name removed]requested was that she tried to get us to pay for glass you could not see through and tempered glass that was not there originally. From the very minute the pane of glass that was broke we told her we would replace what was there. She was trying to get additional options out of us just because she thought we broke it. [Member name removed]went as far as to say this was to code. I contacted the codes department and we replaced exactly what was to code. That was exactly what she had to start out with.
