Adams Custom Painting

The initial work on my small deck however, the stain disintegrated within a few months. Chris Adams, the owner, warrantied the stain and asked to restain it in the fall of 2019. He was too busy and told me I would my job would be the first on his list in the spring Of 2020. The preparation was done in the summer, however now he says he is again too busy and short staffed! Do NOT hire!

I looked them up on the internet and they had high ratings. I'm really glad I hired them. They came out as agreed upon to do an estimate and were very thorough. Some painters I called never did come out to see the job, just gave an estimate over the phone or e-mail based on square footage. In my college days I worked as a house painter for more than one company, and have always done my own interior painting. With building a new home, I knew I wanted it done professionally. I was really impressed with the level of detail and man hours devoted to prep work. All new, primed, solid core doors and trim moldings were thoroughly sanded prior to priming again and then 2 coats of sprayed finish paint. They were very careful about accidents, we didn't have any, and made sure they left the job picked up and tidy every day. Payment draws were requested in a professional manner and the final cost did not exceed the proposal estimate by a penny. In new construction, drywall "nail pops" can show up weeks later after painting and did in a couple of ceilings. We painted our great room in a color that, once we saw it, we hated! All repairs, re-rolled ceilings and even our "boo-boo" color mistake was taken care of with only an extra charge for paint. We are extremely pleased with the final result, and I am picky about paint. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I got a quote from him and a couple of other painters. He was very courteous in terms of giving the quote. He is just so busy since we got the quote from them. We'll find a different painter just because they would take to long to get in schedule. He was very responsive on e-mail and follow-up questions.

Working with Adams Custom Painting was a very positive experience. We got their name from Angie's List and called for an estimate. They were prompt, provided a detailed estimate and were the best choice for us out of the 3 companies we interviewed. Adams painted two coats on the entire second level including 3 bedrooms, a full bath and hallway (ceilings, walls and closets). They moved furniture and covered everything with drop cloths. Attention to detail was important to them from filling nail pops and picture hook holes to the final caulking around tile and baseboards in each room. They have a large crew of painters but the owner, Chris, and his brother worked on our home. They were polite and friendly, always worked a full day with only a break for lunch and completed the job on time. Chris returned phone calls promptly and gave us good advice regarding paint choices. Couldn't ask for more. The company is very busy but worth waiting for a spot on their calendar.

They told me exactly what was going to be done and how it was going to go. I chose to go with him and he will be coming back to do it. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Everything went as promised in the quote. No surprises.

Adams Painting AKA Deck Doctors did a great job restaining my Deck. the Owner, Chris Adams, came and performed a professional estimate and gave me all the options for material, color, etc. When the choice was made he was able to get me scheduled in a reasonable time. It being a deck I understood it was dependant on weather. His crew came and Power washed the whole thing ahead of time to properly prepare the surface. His crew of three workers came while I was at work and was I surprised at how fast they completed the job. They Brush stroked the whole job, no spray application and NO DRIPS anywhere! Very impressed with the quality of the job. If you are looking for a high quality job I highly recoment Adams Painting. He is very knowledgable of the painting business and is not looking to cut corners.
