George's Lawnmower Sales and Service

The lawnmower is working fine, with all the grass we have it had to cut some thick green grass that was taller than I would usually have to cut. The mower didn't stop on me, it started right up and did the job. When I first took it into Georges, the original time estimate was 2 weeks because of the spring backlog and so forth. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a call in 5 days that the mower was ready to pick up. The price was as quoted. You should note that Georges requires a deposit on the work, and it is not cheap, but I don't know much about working on small engines so I need to . pay for that knowledge. It seems I've found someone who knows his stuff.

My 12-year-old snowblower died in the middle of our record-breaking snowy winter. I took the machine to George's Lawnmower Sales and Service in Redford, MI, and had it back two days later. (I can't promise that the turn-around time is always like that, but it worked for me!) They replaced the drive belts, which had broken, and tuned up and adjusted the engine. They also replaced the scraper bar, which had worn down. The technician helped me load the snowblower into my vehicle, and went over the work they did, and offered advice on keeping this old machine running for a couple more years. Overall, I was really pleased that the work came back quickly and under the estimate, and was done in a professional way.

I didn't dislike anything. It was fast and they did a good job. The price was fair.

I take the mower in, they usually help me get it in and out of my car. Then they call when it is done. It has always been within their estimated time. Then they help me load it into the car when they are done.

I find them very helpful and responsive. They are quite happy to talk over any problems. They are convenient if you live in this area, they are very close if you don't have very much of a choice and they are just very good. Sometimes the turn around is a little long.
