Most roofers did not want the job due to do the modifications to the roof that I wanted, but I found a few bidders. Wayne's bid was very reasonable, and I was impressed with his desire to provide what I wanted, not just what he wanted to do. The job was complicated by the time of year (Winter), but it got started and completed quickly and I was very pleased with the results. All objectives accomplished, even with a few additional items that I requested along the way. I expect to use Wayne for some bathroom work in 2012, because I think he an honest contractor that does great work for a fair price.

Owner sent in teenage son to remove grout from shower and he destroyed the expensive tile that was not to be replaced. The kid had no instruction on what to do and made a bigger mess. Owner admitted to fault and agreed to replace some of the tile that was scratched and gouged. I should have made him replace all of the tile, including the flooring, however was out of a bathroom since the second week of Jan. 2011 and was desperate to finish the job. Unfortunately the original tile was discontinued and I was forced to pick a tile that somewhat matched. The tile that I picked was half the cost of the original tile and looks OK. I was promised that a curtain would be installed to trap the dust flow from the construction and it was not. My house was totally covered in dust and the mess was not cleaned up. The contractor did not finish the job and the communication sucked. I was forced to hire another contractor to complete the finish work. The person that replaced the shower liner and tile was very good and it showed in his work. He was under the impression that the job was finished till we brought up the fact the tile was basically destroyed to the owner. Who by the way did not even check the final work completed. The person that replaced the shower liner and tile was stuck in the middle and was obviously reprimanded by the owner for not communicating that the kid destroyed the original tile. The tile guy showed up to complete the job with a big time attitude and it showed in his work. Also he did not work on Fridays and was extremely slow at what he did do. He dragged out the job and it basically took over 8 weeks to complete. Way to long for what needed to be done. I took pictures of the damage, documented the days and hours worked and he can take me to court for the balance of the money.

They did fairly good work, but were INCREDIBLY difficult to work with. The job took a very long time to complete (6 months past due date) and a year later the job is falling apart
