Tech showed up and was very personable. Narrated his troubleshooting process and even proved the part was defective. Repair was fast, easy, and painless.

I placed a call into Garner Heating and Cooling about my air conditioner leaking and they came out within 5 minutes of me calling them. I was so shocked and thankful! He thoroughly explained everything that was going on with my unit and explained all my options and how they could help. The gentleman that came out was extremely nice and understanding. He was not pushy in any way, he just walked me through every option available to me. It was fixed very quickly and their amazing customer service has earned them a customer for life! Efficient and very timely. I noticed water on the floor by the furnace and detected a leak. I called Garmon and they were out with a couple hours. Problem fixed in 1 hr. Highly recommend.

We were open for any solution to get our upstairs bedrooms cool in the summer. That was our primary goal when updating our Heating and A/C. Mr. Garner promised that the system he quoted us would deliver this. Unfortunately, it did not and the contractor did not care. On our request, he put booster fans into the upstairs ducts that were finally able to cool upstairs if we keep the downstairs thermostat cooler than we would like. For the booster fans and installation, Mr. Garner charged us $800, which is an absurd price hike for 2.5 hours of work and a fan cost of $120. As we understandably did not pay our invoice until the booster fans were installed, Mr. Garner became increasingly angry and behaved very unprofessional Since he got paid, he ignored every question and request by phone and by email. We never even received the final invoice. Luckily he submitted the invoice to Consumer Energy for a rebate and we could get a copy - minus the booster fans. As the boosters were installed to come on every time the blower of the furnace or A/C comes on, it got very hot upstairs in winter. As he continued to ignore our service calls, we had to figure out ourselves how to switch off the boosters during the heating period, which I luckily was able by installing an in-line WiFi switch. We effectively also have no free service for the first year as it was promised to us as he ignores our calls and emails. I would consider this very bad customer service and would therefore not recommend this contractor!

Install was done as promised and we have had no problems.

After purchasing a new furnace, central air and a hot water tank from Garner, (which was installed as expected) we called the company back to repair the hot water tank a few months later. They worked on it and advised they needed a part but they put a hose on the hot water heater to the sump pump hole as a temporary fix for drainage. They advised they'd be back when the part came in. I paid them in full which was, to the best of my recollection, around $150. Several weeks later we still had not heard from them about the part and I called back and asked for a status update by phone. I was told Brad would return my call. He did not. I called back a couple weeks later and was again told the same thing -- and again, he did not. After SIX phone calls over several weeks I still have not heard back from them! It is now March and I began calling late last year asking for a call back. All I am asking for is a simple return phone call to advise when the replacement part will be installed. I paid in full as expected and in return I expect 100% service from them as their part of the bargain. I keep tripping over the hose in the basement running from the hot water heater to the sump pump and it is a complete safety hazard. I guess my next step will be to report this problem to the manufacturer of the hot water tank that has entrusted Garner to carry their brand. Note to Garner: May I please get a return call?

Brad arrived on time and was professional in his interactions. He was very knowledgable about fuel oil furnaces and is clearly passionate about his work. I asked several questions and he took the time to respectfully answer each one. My furnace is now working properly and is ready for winter. He showed me how to change my furnace filter and provided recommendations about cleaning cobwebs, etc from the area adjacent to the furnace for safety. I intend to have Garner perform future annual maintenance on my furnace in the years to come.

My central air conditioning wouldn't start in the spring. They did an adequate job of diagnosing the problem and recommended a new condenser unit at a minimum and really wanted me to buy a complete new system inside and out. Nothing wrong with that advice. Price was higher than competition. I ended up buying a used condenser on Craigslist and had them install it. That worked OK, but still has a small freon leak that they refuse to repair (even when I offered to pay). I called someone else next time I needed the system needed service.

They were very good. We have used them for about 3years. They tried other things and did trouble shooting. The charge was minimal.

There were few issues with zoning, but was ultimately fixed

We could smell something burning within furnace, called Garner Heating & Cooling, they were here with- 2 hrs. Determined the problem, already had part in truck. Bad blower motor was removed & replaced. Very professional, would HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!

This furnace was installed by Garner when house was built. We spent many weeks having to reset this unit during ongoing troubleshooting. Tried many ideas and replaced parts. Never found root cause. Fixed by another company.
